I watched the anime adaptation of Golden Time a while ago, and found it to be an absolute train wreck. An enjoyable experience, but a definite train wreck. Now I find out that the same author is responsible for my favorite romantic comedy anime too. Toradora! is hella good. So I have to ask is the Golden Time anime adaptation just bad or something? I see there isn't a localized translation of the light novel, but I'm tempted to read the fan translation. Is it different from the anime?
