That was a pretty strong first episode, good animation and great voice acting and sound design. The pacing was perhaps a bit fast for my liking and the plot seems a bit silly but I reckon this show'll be a fun time. |

@MUIGaryuu I'm Italian and I speak Japanese. I will say that the Italian versione comes from the English for sure but it0s even worse since some dialogue lines just aren't translated at all

| Crunchyroll FINALLY gave a damn and fixed the subs in v3. THIS is the final version of the notion of watchable. |

| V-tuber cameo, great premise with the old gods, and a chicken mask, jacket wearing villain. Please, have a hotline maimi death game, I wonder how close they can get some Nintendo games running, like Mario Party or Kart. Streamers definitely do those. Overall, despite the controversy with the subs, this can be good. |

Ah... so this is what people were complaining about LOL I was wondering when the 3D animation would come in, and uh... Well okay I don't think it's that bad. Like it's not the worse 3D animation I've seen in anime, but that doesn't mean I'm a fan of it either. I'm guessing this is how the "events" are going to be animated yeah? I'm not a fan of the 3D animation, but even if it was removed I still wouldn't watch this. I'm just really not a fan of the plot that's been laid out. And then there's the villains of this show... Why did they have to use the Cthulhu Mythos? -_- The funny thing is since I've been reading some of Lovecraft's stories, I wondered what a Lovecraft inspired anime would look like, but man this is just... not. It's just not XD There's pretty much nothing I actually enjoyed about this first episode. And you want to know the best part? The whole reason I even watched this first episode was because some loser thought it was a good idea to make a post telling people to stop giving this show a low rating. I saw people complaining about the animation but I thought, "oh come on it can't be that bad", and sure it wasn't the worse 3D animation I've seen, but I can't say I enjoyed this episode either way, so uh... Good job to whoever made that post. You introduced this show to someone who wasn't really interested and ended up bringing the score even lower. Edit: Oh yeah and about the 3D animation, did anyone else see it and immediately think of like late 2000s-early 2010s Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon? That's what immediately came to mind for me LMAO it looks like some of those 3D animation shows that were on there around that time. |

| English subs look okay now... The premise is somewhat forced and uninteresting. For some reason I wasn't expecting actual Old Gods, but I guess it's in the title. And they just combined that with a VR game concept. Meh. The anime portion and the character designs are passable, even if the color scheme is a bit obnoxious. The Fall Guys game graphics are another big meh. They could still pull off a creative and interesting story from here, but I have serious doubts. Don't think we'll be getting anything seriously grotesque or gory, given the PG-13 rating. |
