3 episodes in and completely lost

This is one of the most schizophrenic shows I've seen in a long time. There are so many different terms and groups and ideas all just randomly happening it's overwhelming. Suddenly there is a scene of people speaking in english and it almost looks like it's someone watching a movie but maybe it's actually happening? I'm sure it will all make sense eventually but man they really just throw you into the deep end and expect you to swim.

I also didn't really like the anime and I don't know your reading level, I recommend reading the LN it's much better, but don't expect it to be a masterpiece because the writing is average, honestly the only reason I watched this anime was because of Felli, since I don't care about the other characters, the animation isn't that good and I think there should be a Remake that adapts the end of LN because the anime only covered the first volumes and they still added several original things that made everything very confusing.

So uh....the anime is never gonna make complete sense sorry to say. The LNs explain a lot more, but I only got through the first five volumes before I lost track of the translations.
