| Ye, this is pretty much tracing back to that kiss. It pushed the plot between Erika and Nagi this way since they had unresolved drama from that. The others also showed up in this episode along with..pizza?! Silly Nagi getting punched in the guts by Erika though. He should've seen that coming. Nagi got asked out at the end by Hiro so it's definitely setting up for more spicy drama. Ii think it's going to be amusing. |

| The change of studio did more harm than good, compared to the first season it is a notch lower, especially in the animation sector, they focused too much on the characters design (I still prefer those from the first season) leaving the rest more "static". Too bad. |

| Well.. It's been a fun and cute series that's had it's moments. I feel like this second season didn't progress the plot much, and was basically just spinning its wheels. It ended with that cliffhanger to set up a potential season 3 maybe. Don't know how many harem romance's realistically get a 3rd season though. I feel like it's either on already or about to be on the same course as Rent A Girlfriend with no real progression at all? It's like Nagi and Erika took a step forward and then two steps back at the very end. |

| It was hilarious to see Hiro, Ai and Sachi each try to manipulate Erika in thinking that her kiss with Nagi meant basically nothing. But she did actually figure out her feelings pretty quickly (well, it was a long time coming, she probably liked him since very early on). Perhaps more surprising was Nagi going to her and admitting he feels the same way. It was cute that they didn't want to stop living together, although I think that to be sure of their feelings it would make sense to spend some time without each other. Basically, Erika was the star of the episode, except for this ending scene with Hiro (but we have no context for it, so not sure that everything is at seems there). Overall, it was a very fun season that I liked a bit more than the first one: better animation/direction and chara design, more interesting and dynamic plotlines, some growth/progress for the girls (for Sachi and Erika in particular). Not my favorite show of the season or one of my favorite harem romcoms, but it was entertaining and interesting enough :) |
| Idc what anyone says, I love cuckoos even though it’s a mess of a romance story that’s clearly dragging on for money at this point lmao. The girls are cute, it’s funny, the production quality got a lot better in this season thanks to the studio change and it’s just kinda like a soap opera that may annoy you, but you keep watching. I don’t think we see a season 3 after this, but I highly recommend checking out the manga if you like it because my fave part of the story is coming up. Cute, but frustrating finale lol. So our two leads essentially confessed to each other and know everything’s mutual, surely they shouldn’t date right? I can understand not going full steam forward with the marriage stuff yet, but Erika and Nagi should be in a relationship and see how living together while dating would be. Of course Miki sensei has to drag things out for another 200 chapters to sell manga copies, but fuck. Like why are we even consulting Erika/Nagi dad when buddy has barely been in her life because of his job? Also they got Nagi brother watching over everything like a goddam Batman villain plotting his next move lmao. In all seriousness tho, Erika getting her dad’s approval means a lot to her because as we saw in the flashback, she’s a daddy’s girl and wants to be closer to him desperately, so if he’s not onboard with them getting together, she won’t. Which sets up some crazy drama like we see at the end of the episode. “Who am I supposed to end up with going forward” asking this after you just told Erika you felt the same way towards her and wanna be with her essentially is crazy. That’s why this story is so frustrating because Nagi is a POS at times lmaooo. Drama for the sake of drama. THE ENDING, FINALLY HIRO MAKES HER MOVE!! Of course right after Erika and Nagi got so close this season lol. This messy ass story gets even messier, but I can’t stop consuming it. Liked this season a lot better than season 1, and I’ve even regained my love for the manga lately as well so even though it gets on my nerves, I’ll miss the anime. |

| Suspended and punished by studying in his room huh. Not really a punishment for Nagi. They sure brought a lot of pizza for their visits. Erika must have had a rough time growing up given her parents careers and fame. In the first place there really isn't a rush to marry especially at their current age anyway. The wedding photos sure came out quite well. But the image of nagi being one that has all these girls as his potential partners lol. Most people would be envious of Nagi's situation. Overall a pretty fun finale that ended with quite the hint for their next steps. |

| Hiro does her best to put Erika in the family zone. Ai does her best to put Erika in the friend zone. Sacchi does her best to put Erika in the rival zone. It make Erika actually thin a bit harder and acknowledge to herself that she likes Nagi. Are hotel tycoons famous? The only one I could ever name was Conrad Hilton. Are they teasing us that Sōsuke is going to pursue Erika? |

| For me, the second season is in no way inferior to the first, just as I think the last photo is ideal for a harem ending, although the last seconds hint at an interesting continuation and I am pleased with how Hiro's character has developed since the first season. |
| ts is always two steps forward one step back. and here i thought dude is finnaly gonna move forward with one woman. then the post credit scene happen. looks like dude's gonna bang all of them. and it'd take 10 fkn seasons. and there's dudes older brother tynna bang his step sister. and the season ended. im not going to miss this shit that's for sure. |

| Overally enjoyed it, the art style should have been at par with the previous season, would've loved to see that. I won't be surprised if this doesn't even receive any Season 3 announcement. Score 7/10. Finished on 29th October 2025 at 17:40 Hrs IST.   |

| 3:30 Sachi spilled the beans 🤭 6:10 so much pizza 🤣 8:26 Erika reveals her feelings at last! 🙌🏻 10:40 I love how throw up in anime is always animated as sparkles and rainbows 🤣 11:40 HOLY SHIT NAGI WHAT??? 😯🫢🤯 YOU HAVE HIRO ALREADY My 13th Summer 2025 anime finished! This was yet another great season! 🙌🏻 So many amazing scenes with Nagi and each girl. Ai coming along and stirring the pot, Sachi becoming more of a brocon with another kiss, Erika finally got aggressive here at the end with the kiss AND confession, and poor best girl Hiro is still struggling 🥲 at least she got a peck on the cheek. I love how bold Nagi is too. He ain’t completely dense/oblivious. He’s owning his harem 🤣🙌🏻 I so hope for a season 3 of this 🙏🏻 top tier Seiyuu cast as always  |
| Great finale, it really felt like Nagi was settling on Erika here with his declaration of having the same feelings for Erika that she does for him, especially because Mr. Hotel King was one of the people he told that to, but of course then the end of the episode happened, leaving it open for all the girls still. That makes me happy because personally I’m team Segawa and don’t see myself ever changing teams, but at the same time I understand why some would be frustrated by this, like it seems like Erika is gonna win but nope lol, I don’t have a problem with it at all tho, I mainly watch this show for the silly and sexy shenanigans these characters get up to, and if the series continues to be that then I’m satisfied. A few other things of note in this finale, the pizza bit was funny lol, like none of them needed to bring pizza as an excuse to talk to Erika about the kiss but they did, and then Sachi had already ordered one anyway lol, that was a really good bit. We also got teased on the brother again, it’s unfortunate he ended up just being a tease and not plot relevant for this season but just seeing him was cool, I’m very curious as to how he changes things up when he is actually introduced. And lastly, that after credits scene kinda got my hopes up for a Season 3, that could’ve just been read the manga bait but it felt like the perfect way to hype another season, but with no announcement yet, I can only hope lol. If there isn’t ever another season I probably will pick up the manga to see how that Segawa date goes. And that was it for A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2, I sure would’ve loved if this season could’ve been two cours just like Season 1 but I’m really just thankful we got a continuation at all, and it really was a great continuation imo, the content covered in this season was a lot of fun, especially the inclusion of Ai who made things even more wacky, her idol performances were great too. Now I know some folks weren’t a fan of the change in art style and lesser animation, but personally I thought this season’s style was really good, it really made for a lot of beautiful moments when they put in extra detail, lesser animation doesn’t bother me at all either since this isn’t really a show that needs it anyway. I really liked the OP and ED of this season too, not sure if I’d place them above the songs from the first season but I think they’re up there with them, they were fun songs, I especially think it’s cool 22/7 is doing music for other anime. And once again, Season 3 please! I know we’re lucky to have a Season 2 but I can’t help but want for more lol. |
| Took until the last two episodes for some progress but that's more than I can say for some other romcoms. That, and Ai-chan made the season at least somewhat bearable for me. Still can't get over the ugly artstyle though. |

| Okay conclusion I mean we believe that we're getting some development especially with Erika but in the end it's just a loop and it's back to Segawa then it will be back to the sister etc lol at least that was entertaining just like S1 but as a manga reader I say to everyone don't expect some proper development or genuine romance conclusion soon... |

| I don't like relationships that start off as forced so I don't like Nagi x Erika but as expected the series is headed in that direction, I prefer Hiro so it's a 4/10 for me |
| The whole confession felt super abrupt but they seem to be playing on the whole harem trope at the end again with Nagi being unable to choose. Though naturally it will be Erika by the end. I’m assuming next season will involve Nagi’s biological brother coming into the show. Though I doubt we’ll get a season 3 Overall it was a good season shorter but very good. I think overall I liked season 1 a little more but this season wasn’t bad. Low 8/10 |

| This show was such a hot mess. 1st season was all about finding her brother, this season I don’t think he was mentioned once by Erika. He finally shows up but not really. Nagi and Erika finally realized they have feelings for each other only for it to go nowhere. They don’t have to jump into marriage. They could have dated first. See how it goes but no, they shake hands like they’re completing a business transaction. The only good thing about adding Ai to the mix is the cute song her and Sachi performed. She brought nothing else to the table. Segawa is such a tease. She knows she can get Nagi to do anything for her but whenever he says something about liking her, she’s like “I’m engaged”. Just stop already girl. I still think it’s weird for Sachi to have feelings for Nagi. I know they aren’t related but she spent her whole life together with him thinking they were siblings. Idk how she can just jump into having romantic feelings for him. I love her voice though. All the actors did a great job. I’m surprised this season didn’t have 24 episodes like the first one did. As much as I didn’t care for this season as much as the first, I’d still watch more of this train wreck. hahaha 😂 |
| Ngl, Nagy has become so frustrating. I wish he just became more competent and decisive. If you like Erika, just be more confident in that and own it instead of being wishy washy about it. And now the brother shows up to likely ruin things further. Great… |
| This is just worse than season 1. The only good thing is Nagi and Erika's development of their relationship. While I like that their relationship has finally developed, I will never forget the stress and frustration I have endured on this season. I am not sure if I will watch the next season if ever there will be. The plot is as torturous as Kanojo Okarishimasu. If I just want to go for more on mindless harem and ridiculous plot, Kanojo Mo Kanojo is much better and more entertaining. |

| I agree that this season was worse than the previous one. I really don't understand how Nagi managed to say he has feelings for Erika but then proceeds to say he doesn't know who he's supposed to end up with. His greed sickens me. I already didn't enjoy the first season, so they just rubs salt in the wound. I'm also incredibly disappointed by the character designs. They looks so fucking ugly. Ai is also really fucking ugly, Hiro is too, but Ai just really pisses me off. Her voice is also gross to listen to. 5/10 (and I'm being generous). |
