| So we're doing the "we've actually met before" thing... and what do you know, she's been pining for him for months, all from some trivial words Rintaro doesn't even remember saying. As much as I could not take my eyes off the screen, I also often found myself losing focus and staring past the screen. It's very pretty, and I actually like how kind and sincere it is, including the constant thanking and apologizing. But I can't deny how stunningly-uninteresting and railroaded the story feels. It's like a 6/10 script drawn by a 10/10 artist. I did enjoy it overall, but without any substance behind it, I'm afraid I'll forget all about this show in a few weeks. And that's such a shame. |

| This was such a cute episode. Waguri walks through her history with Rintaro and the missed opportunities to talk to him. I never realized she had feelings for him this entire time. Wtf that ending was not satisfying at all?? As everyone has already said, this plot is so basic and typical. Overall, I really liked the characters and how they all help and look out for each other. Its very sweet, but the actual plot itself moves at a snail pace. Its very disappointing. I was hoping we'd get at least a kiss on the cheek or a mere hug, but we didn't get any of that. It just ended with a confession, nothing more. I changed my score from a 6 to a 7 before the beach episode, but with the unsatisfying ending, I moved the score back down to 6. People really give out high scores for no reason, huh? It currently sits at 8.59, which is almost a 9. People need to separate the score they gave this anime from what they've read in the manga. |

| I loved it! The characters and their relationships, the story, the animation, everything! I just wish I could have seen them at least hugging or holding hands. It would have been so sweet. 🥹 9/10 |

| This just became one of my new favourites! There's no sickening trope of lewdness and sexual desire, but simply love and friendship in purity and chastity. I really can't believe we get to have a pure-hearted story in this frightening day and age of depravity and blasphemy. I came to love this series called Fragrant Flower. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I love the pacing of this story, not too slow and not too fast. I like the confession! <3 The school rivalry problem is over dramatic but overall, I like this show, all characters are likable and the main couple is very cute :) |
