| As per usual, amazing chapter, the way Gabrielli's mindset is on how a true defender should be is something I know many who've played as defenders understand. I personally used to think clean defending was admirable, and while it is, rattling your opponents by small fouls and more than necessary rough play to mess their flow and psyche is absolutely necessary especially when you lack the build or skills for it. I love his blatant hate for Zerola, who Araki takes after in playstyle while admiring Gregorio. Also, you can't win every defensive interaction, so I understand why the goal went in despite Araki's dedication, I also absolutely admire Araki's composed nature even in a tight game, knowing he'll try create opportunities. I'm hoping for Nazario to get enlightenment after the shocking realisation that talent alone won't get him anywhere without dedication and pure hunger to grow. |
