| Came into this show with no expectations but wow, this was crazy. Ninjas, gangsters, yakuza, etc. They really didn't joke about the premise and style of the show. A lot of characters in this and they didn't shy away from the blood and violence. Tanaka had such a badass entrance though. Seems they went around with the graphic beheading scenes already in this episode so yeah, it's not one for faint of heart. |

| Mangaka Shinsuke Kondo's series about ninjas and the yakuza at war with each other, they sure do not get along well. MIYAVI's OP just does not sound like the usual quality I've come to expect from him, it's really an average song. The ninja of Shinoha "Ninja" Tanaka, and the yakuza of Kiwami "Gokudo" Kimura, these two really hit it off being fellow otaku at first sight...though when it comes to each other's professions, it's another story altogether, as Shinoha proves his ninja assassin prowess against a yakuza group threatening innocent government officials by beheading them in one fell swoop. And if anything pisses Shinoha off, it's how the yakuza have made the Shinobi life tough for him, though it's helping the police with their investigation by being the silent killers in their stead. However, his monotonous emotions manifested thanks to the trauma he had from young, the young man who neither smiles nor laughs, will be Shinoha's MO. The ninja's covert base of operations, alongside his grandfather Kaiza Akiba (one of the 8 Imperial Ninja) in a stereotypical-looking bar, handing to his master of the Heaven's Coupon, which is paper soaked in liquid drugs, the agile ninja has always been supporting from the sidelines, and will go to lengths to take down the yakuza. And that chance comes around again when an otaku merch sale happens with both Shinoha and Kiwami, though the latter shows his rather vast network and the ability to naturally get along with people well. And since the former has no friends, the latter offering to be his first friend, adjoined by not just otaku culture, but a sound friendship in the works...which alas, Kiwami showing himself as the real leader of the Gokudo, sets the stage for the anticipated fight that's for the series to come. Ninja vs. Gokudo, let the fight begin! This is an inevitable bloodbath to come... |

| i like this comedy / satire... the rating is problem is not just due to kids getting dumber by the generation, but also also that they're getting younger, which in itself means the iq of the demographics is decreasing with each generation... you literally have toddlers watching r+ anime nowadays that they just don't understand lol |
| I started the manga before the anime and the adaptation is well done I hope that I will really enjoy watching the S1... |

| I don't know why, but I was expecting something on the level of Under Ninja, but after the first episode and a quick read of the original, I realized that it was not for me, but the opening is good. |

| Oh it's very doomed yaoi... Well, not necessarily yaoi but I do love how they became friends. Very Spy X Family-esque. Besides that, I love the setup of two underground groups and the police being involved. The comedic sidenotes hit too. And being someone who can easily look past a mediocre animation, I really look forward to the next episode. |
| Firstly, the intro song slaps, and Gramps got mad style, I'm all for it! I don't mind this chaotic concept at all; it seems kinda fun. Although the animation could be better, I'm not quite bothered by it for some reason. |

| I pretty much enjoyed this first episode and kinda excited to see what will happen next. Both main characters of each side seem likeable but for now, I must say I really dig Shinoha's personality and face. |

| It was OK, pretty predictable. Not a fan of the animation style, though the animation itself is OK. Characters are...meh. Maybe give it a few more episodes. |

| Shinoha and Kiwami. Ninja and Gokudo. I liked the first episode. It will be interesting to see what happens next and how the two of them react. The opening is good.  |
