Region
The month is February, but it hasn't snowed all winter. Kanon's father is often away on business trips and might be getting a little too friendly with his pretty young female subordinate; which Kanon doesn't approve of so soon after her mother's death. Her little brother collects insects, but they're dying off.

It turns out that these deaths are the first of many a plague to come down. First it's the insects, inexplicably dropping dead everywhere. Then it's the rats, looking for a new food source. And things just keep getting worse…

The World Is Mine
Meet Mon, a violent killer faithful only to his own eruptive desires, and his timid companion Toshi, a demolition-devil with a fanatical thirst for destruction. Their killing-spree across Japan is destined to intersect the path of the enormous "Higumadon", a mysterious beast on a Godzilla-like rampage from Hokkaido to Tokyo.

Shiroyama to Mita-san
Tatsuhiko Shiroyama hates being stuck in the boonies. Greetings from strangers feel fake, part-time job prospects are limited, and he's been "blessed" with the nickname "Niyayama" from his classmates due to his creepy, unsociable attempts at smiling. He turned to the radio as a means to escape and thinks about nothing more than saving up for a move to Tokyo where he can explore his passions. But Tatsuhiko's life changes forever when he saves a rich CEO from a rice paddy and is set up with his granddaughter, the equally as shy and antisocial Tamiko Mita. Together, the two stumble through the nuances of "dating," and Tatsuhiko's dreary days become a whole lot brighter.

I can only throw my hat into the ring for The World Is Mine as it's the only one I have read. I'll check out the other two soon! Having said that, I will say that TWIM is one of the best reads I've ever had. BUT I came to that conclusion at the very end of the story. For anyone reading it for the first time, it's a very sick and dark manga that for a majority of the early and into middle of the story feels like there's no real point to it all. There is a lot of wanton killing, destruction, and depravity throughout the entire manga that gets hard to stomach after a while. But the ending is one of the best I've ever read. I highly recommend it if you can stick it out to the end.

Lots of interesting titles!
This was a hard choice but in the end I put my vote in for Region, but they're all going on my PTR!

You guys will love Tamiko Mita from Shiroyama to Mita-san. I don't know where the summary got "anti-social" for Tamiko but that's something she ain't. She a "my pace" kind of gal with her own unconventional hobbies. Kinda reminded me of Gintama in some ways. Must be the love for Golgo 13.

The manga ended by the time this recommendation post posted so I can say safely the story and character do not overstay their welcome, nor do the jokes and running gags become stale. It ends where you'd expect it to, leaving us with two introverted characters who've changed for the better because they met each other.
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.
