It's the most yakuza thing ever to get biker gangs involved.

After the World Series over the weekend, I'm really happy to see a baseball bat being shown again in this show. That bat duel is badass. City is on fire again.

Nice and action heavy episode
The baseball bat duel was insane and the highlight of the episode for me.

At this rate the death toll has to be measured in millions before the end of the season.

Still not sure why my doodles back in elementary school doesn't get anime adaptation but this manga can.

I feel like the "shut the brain and just watch" method can only work if there's something worth watching. You can't just use this method in every anime otherwise there'd be no bad anime in the world.

But I'm also changing inside, I begin to feel nothing when yakuza's heads are flying off. But this also might make me feel nothing when major characters died. I don't think this anime want me to feel nothing.

I love that this show is getting more and more Jojo-like.

The lieutenants were very fun (such as the baseball battle with the interesting backstory and special moves compacted into the fight).

Bullet Discso was also particularly funny 😆🙌

I love how everyone gets elaborate backstories and motivations only for them to die in under two minutes

I love how the ninja boss is fighting what basically a random underling, talk about coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb. Also my sides went flying the moment he morphed into the american baseball guy. "Hey boy, play ball"

I love how in their flashback ohmaga was just a random grade schooler tagging along with zokugami and co., like where the fuck were his parents lol

And lastly i love how zokugami got his own "stand cry" (odoreodoreodoreodore), i guess dio gets to keep a trait of his even in a different universe

This show is the weekly dose of cringe ive been missing since....ex arm, i guess 🤣🤣

@Kai200X, No, literally the same. Especially the dub, it has me rolling with laughter because of how bad it is. But I'm still a bit invested in the story.

There's another episode out, and I'm not one to drop shows generally speaking, but I think with this episode I've seen enough of this. The show wasn't what I was expecting or hoping it would be. The premise I read made me think it was going to be about the bond formed between two people on opposing factions of a greater conflict, but so far the two have barely had any interactions and none that felt developed or genuine. What this really turned out to be, 5 episodes in at least, is a rule of cool dependent fighting show where anyone(and by the end probably everyone except the main two characters if I had to guess) will die. That'd be okay with me if it were done well, but to this point it really hasn't been imo. Every death feels like it has the same setup, with characters wistfully remembering how the side they joined saved them from a dark fate while being happy to give up their lives. It plays this same tired pattern out to death and totally seriously, while at the same time having crazy over the top, occasionally tongue-in-cheek gags just thrown in for good measure. There's only so many different ways to show a head getting cut off and 5 episodes in this has gotten old and stale to me. It kind of reminds me of Basilisk, a show I didn't exactly love either, but one that at least I finished. In a different season or were personal circumstances different at the moment maybe I'd have stuck it through to the end because it's not bad enough to make me angry or anything, but it IS bad and I can make better use of my time so honestly there's no point. Dropped, 4/10.

As much as the Zokugami Gokudo are ready for their reckoning, the police are in no way, shape or form to deal with quite the horde, and that's where the rest of the 8 Imperial Ninja come to deal against them, split into 5 corridors. The first being Naito Shikuma vs. Sako Hasegawa at the Teito bridge, and a bare-bones swordsman fight at that, the ninja took a clean sweep at that. Going next with his brother of "the strongest alive" Uryu Yagi vs. Taku Ariha, and Uryu's piezoelectricity proves quite the difference in raw power. However, this is a fight that the Gokudo will keep on going...to seal their fates in both of the Ninja's hands.

While the Seikaten Gokudo's commander Hiori Ohmaga's baseball skillls are strong, Zanzo Kasai deals with him knowing his reputation, but for the ninja to go on shapeshifting to trigger quite the sad memory of his wife's loss, and even imitating the look of a professional baseball pitcher, these two are really going for the baseball treatment in pure ninja vs. Gokudo form that's quite the interesting and unorthodox fight. That leaves Shinoha facing against Hiroki Yajima as one of the 8 Gokudo of Destruction, that quickly proves to be a speed demon gunshot against him with his dancing bullets.

Will this be the end of the kid ninja?
