That scene on the fair was kinda what I wanted to see in that regard, they are lime parents and Teoritta is lime their daughter. But I guess we will see unless someone who read the novels spoils us lol.

I definitely saw the vibes. Agree that they gave off Teoritta’s parents vibes. Her whole soft spot for shaved ice was also humanizing her a bit. I don’t think Xylo has revealed much interest, so I only hope it doesn’t turn into some fantasy trope with a FL fawning after a disinterested ML.

The youngs really need to learn about “not feeding the trolls”. Internet wisdom is being lost to the years…

Anyway, I wouldn’t be against a Xylo and Kivia romance. She seems to already have the hots for him (I don’t blame her LOL) after she got to know a little bit more of him. Like sometimes else said, I’d say the ball is in Xylo’s park. I’m not sure his mindset in this stage of the show is open to romance… after all, he is a hero, why would he ever consider romance? It’s unattainable. Like the other heroes mentioned, the best they can ever hope for is in brothels. Not exactly the peek of romance when everything is transactional (though, depending on how it’s spinned in fiction… I’ve deferred read fanfics that made it work, aha).

I think it’s more likely they are setting Kivia to have to make a choice between following orders and doing the right thing and be sentenced a hero. Any romance between them will come after that.
