| This is one of the best hentai anime out there. A lot of people criticise the sex scenes, and others complain about the lack of them. I think that this 2 OVAs have a right amount of action and sex scenes of high quality. You won't find anything like this on other titles. The art is lively, and the characters are interesting. |

I don't really actively look up hentai and watch, I used to watch whatever I come across and 99% of them is rapey and shit. this goes for all Japanese art from my experience just watch Japanese movies and you'll see for yourself. Bible Black, Kite and that other movie from the same director looks awesome and the girls are simply perfect. However it is so mean spirited and perverted and that pisses me off. It is an obvious thing that I noticed in about most Japanese entertainement regardless of form. Let me elaborate further by bringing the example of Kite. So this hot 18 year ild or whatever gets brutally raped by this ugly bad guy dirty cop and all around terrible human being, the scenes become even wierder when it switches into passionate territory! like the woman is enjoying being raped. Wtf! Meanwhile there is this other character who is a mirror of the main female protagonist (he still doesn't get brutally raped) you could say he is the male protagonist of the story, same age, good looking, innocent and gniunly cares about the girl but he dies before even kissing her or even telling her about his feelings. In Bible Black there is a scene in the hospital where this guy wakes up from a coma and finds this beautiful nurse who is into him the make out, she gives him a handjob and it's hot and stuff until the storyline kicks in and now he suddenly starts brutally raping this innocent woman who was treating him well. It is implied that he murders her after violating every orifice in her body. It's sick shit like this that I'm talking about! What kind of sick perverted mind comes up with that kind of stuff and why? Does it say something about Japan? Maybe because ot's the same story if you watch Japanese cinema. I used to say 70s amd 80s Italian cinema was overly sleazy but then I discovered Japanese cinema. And yes, being a perv is a normal thing in Japan I'm pretty sure. |

| (not jumping on the main conversation going on) Several years ago I've read some Tarantino interview he mentions Kite as some of his favorite anime and several times I thought about watching it but just reading the synopsis it sounded so trash I always put off... yesterday I finally watched and yeah it's very trash and disturbing but I loved it, so I went on to watch Mezzo Forte and this is also great, the art and animation are awesome, the action scenes great (loved the whole bowling alley sequence), there were some scenes I felt like the directors' choice broke immersion just to be overly badass like Mikura kicking a guy through a building and Momomi just killing eight bodyguards, and also the excessively long graphic sex scenes... I'm very ok with sex or sexual violence as part of the story, even when it's graphic but in an "artsy" way, but wasn't really the case here, they were more gratuitous... I feel there could be a more tasteful cut... Whenever I use the search option to look for new stuff I always let the hentai tag excluded, won't do that anymore because of Kite and Mezzo Forte |
