| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Whoah, this episode was one of the best episodes out of GX. It was good to see that something which happened in Season 1 matters now, and even better - it was Atticus' dark side, one of the best moments back in S1. Still I wonder why Zane revealed his ace monster... I guess he didn't have much choice after all =\ |

| I guess it was an ok duel, though the result was obvious from the beginning. I wonder what they meant at the end, probably will be pretty cliche. |

| This whole episode was a waste. While I appreciated that Fubuki was worried about Ryo, him assuming that Ryo was evil or taken over by darkness was silly. A character wearing black clothes and having a massive ego =/= evil. If that were the case, Manjoume would've been considered evil for like 80% of the series. At least Fubuki used his Red-Eyes deck again instead of that awful Idol deck he used against Asuka at the beginning of the season. But Ryo's new Cyberdark cards were trash. I still don't get why he wanted that mediocre deck. |
| i liked seeing the old zane compared to the new zane to really hammer home the character development. old zane was quite closed off and passive, and success had just kind of come to him. now he's got a lot more to him, even if most of that is just misplaced anger. two edgy/villain characters facing each other was cool, although the duel was pretty middling ultimately, and having atticus do something beyond being a joke character is a nice change of pace. |
