Tough tough, very very tough. For me it's between Mark Hamill and Heath Ledger. Don't know yet, I'll have to pull a two face and flip a coin or something...

Curse you for making such a harsh choice! Hamill had a fantastic laugh for The Joker but Nicholson and Ledger just had something else that Hamill and Romero lacked.

I thought that no one would ever beat Nicholson's performance, and then I watched The Dark Knight and I was blown away. My vote goes to Ledger simply because I think he was as close to comic Joker as any of them have ever come. However Ledger only beats Nicholson by a hair or two

I loved both Ledger and Hamill's portrayals of the Joker, but I voted for Hamill. He just brings me back, you know? Whenever I think of the Joker, Hamill first comes to mind.

Ridiculously tough. Each of them was great at the role. Romero had this off-the-wall, intelligent type of crazy. For most of my life, Nicholson defined what it meant to be crazy. At the same time, though, I grew up with Hamill's Joker. Then along came a Ledger, and I saw "insane" personified. In dunno if I'm able to choose.

I picked Heath Ledger. Nicholson was good but in my opion Ledger was much better.
I laugh in the face of danger. Then run and hide until it goes away.

Sorry, but Jack was off my list from the start. Could not stand most of the Burton movies. It looked too much like they were in a giant toybox for me. :/

Definitely between Mark Hamill and Heath Ledger. They main thing is that they're so /different/. Hamill is made for the DC universe, where Ledger was made for /our/ universe. Tai nan le!

If Jack was more hyper and a little younger in Batman he'd be so much better, he was more wacky and well more Joker than Ledger, imo.
Can't beat Hamill's laugh though.
