| If Feldt becomes the Cherudim's pilot, it would be as good as losing the Cherudim to the enemy Alliance's "Operation Capture Gundam". Instead, they should put her in Neil's old Dynames with a new customized color and weapon system, taking the concept from Gundam SEED Destiny in terms of redesigning the Kira's Aile Strike to Cagalli's Strike Rouge. Since most of the Gundam anime is pretty much borrowing the concept from its predecessor, there shouldn't be a problem in getting Feldt a pink or red Dynames armed with short-ranged guns rather than Lockon's sniper rifle. |

| so you are saying that it's better to plug in a payloader instead of an experienced crew member? for some reason lockon II is now a good pilot, enough to pick off a couple of enemies. oh well it's cool, i don't mind the new lockon just the writers should have thought about the most plausible scenario instead of pulling off the "other twin plot device." to me it was surreal. but who the hell knows what's idea behind a twin? |
| Am I wrong, or did Veda select the original four pilots? I guess it doesn't matter to much, but I am thinking without Veda they ended up with twin Lockon, and I believe he will turn on them or do something disastrous. |
| well its still unclear on how would veda recommend a new pilot as it is now in the hands of ribbons. maybe the back-up has those capabilities? it is unclear as why they still went ahead with this plot device though. just boggles me. i could have been lasse, ian, or sumeragi. but they eventually picked the twin that was never mentioned until episode 24 who prior to that episode had a small 4 second appearance. just boggles me. if you have a better explanation please enlighten me. |

| It was more Setsuna's decision to bring Lyle to CB as the new "Lockon Stratos". One of the mangas explains that Lockon told Setsuna about his younger brother, and how he was fighting for his sake. So Setsuna brought him aboard, perhaps to carry on his brother's will? Besides, Lyle was already part of Kataron, so he had some combat training. So it's not like say, Saji, suddenly getting into a Gundam. Setsuna knew about Lyle being in Kataron, so maybe he thought Lyle would be willing and able to fight, at least in some form. Or maybe he thought the skillz are in the genes or something XD But really, Feldt has no training whatsoever in mobile suit combat. Besides, she is already so experienced at bridge support, that nobody could replace her there. They already lost Christina, and Mileina is new. If Feldt was to go in a Gundam, who will do her bridge duties? Capable yes, but in mobile suit combat? Not necessarily. Lasse would be the closest one to piloting something. However, the crew all have their roles already, and nobody can replace them in those roles (Ian as the maintainence guy, Lasse piloting the ship, Sumeragi has to do the plannning). They're understaffed as it is, if any of those guys go pilot a mobile suit, they'll be doomed (seeing how without Sumeragi planning, they almost lost). I admit it'd be kinda cool to see Saji in a mobile suit fighting against Louise, but in the end, when you think about it logically, it just won't work XD |

Hey, at least it was better than what they did with Gundam SEED Destiny *stabs Destiny and curses it to Hell* I dunno about Lyle avenging his brother's death. He doesn't seem all that close to Neil. In fact, there's probably more of a chance for Tieria to do the avenging than Lyle. And besides, Lockon died to avenge his family and create a world that Lyle could live in; so technically his death wouldn't "cheapened" unless Lyle kills himself for some stupid reason. Without Veda, they're pretty much operating on their own. And while yes, Setsuna did make a unilateral decision to get Lyle to join (seeing as how the other crew didn't even know of Lyle's existence), because they were so shortstaffed, they accepted him anyway. It's kinda like how Ian unilaterally allowed Saji to man the guns (which Saji chickened out of, but that's another matter), because they need people, and anyone who is willing and able (and at least one member trusts) is good enough for them. It is rather convenient that Neil has a twin brother that looks exactly like him, so they don't have to change the character design. But at least they didn't totally pull Lyle out from nowhere. We were already somewhat aware of his existence since ep 9, so it's not like Destiny ($@$^&$) where they pulled it out of thin air. Besides, like I said before, the main problem is that Feldt, Ian, Sumeragi, and Lasse all have their respective jobs that nobody can replace them in, so they can't really go and pilot. |

| wasn`t lockon 1 in CB to avenge ALL his family death`s? i remember he alone among his family corposes, no brother. i smell a clon like in seed xD feldt i can`t see her in a gundam but maybe in those armors for gundams if the situacion requires it, like saji in a turret and yes they need new blood in CB |

| Feldt should remain as one of the core navigators of the Flagship, as the fact that there is a shortage of crew members and the fact that the Flagship's safety is more important than the Gundams. If the Flagship is destroyed, then their mission ends there. If a Gundam is destroyed, they can always grab a GN-X to use. |

They even call him by a code name to his face in one of the episodes lol. How much more obvious can it get? Setsuna already knows he's apart of Kataron as well. It's mentioned in the manga as someone pointed out above me already and is also hinted in the series. As for Feldt piloting anything...NO. Leave Saji to be the new pilot. They already have him set to be the pilot for the attachment for Gundam 00 now. Feldt already has a job and she does it good. No need to change it. |

| Interesting idea, I don't think I can really imagine Fedlt piloting a gundam, but I would definitely love to see her do more or something special like Saji. On a side note, I'm starting to really like seeing Saji do something gundam related instead of moping around. I mean he still mopes when gundams come into the picture, but I love the angst...what do you expect? I'm a girl XD I really liked the Fedlt and Lockon thing going on, so imagine my "O__O NOOOO TT____TT" reaction when Lockon died. In fact, even after many various proofs and 16 episodes, I'm still in complete denial that Lockon (Neil) is dead. I stubbornly believe that he miraciously healed his eye in 4 years and is PRETENDING to be Kyle....or he's just alive somewhere. XD Anyways, back to the Fedlt idea. Like a lot of people said, it'll be difficult to have another pilot when you have so little people in the ship. Besides Lasse and Sumeragi, Fedlt is the only character I like. If she's gone, there's no one likeable in the ship left. Screw the new girl Mileina (or however you spell her name), she's too annoying. And screw Anew, she is so an Innovator spy. Ugh and don't even get me started with the implied relationship between Lockon 2 (Kyle) and Anew :T In conclusion, I just want more Fedlt screening time, Lockon (Neil) and Saji's angst :P!! |
