| Well I just saw Tokyo Rev and it truly was amazing, but my greatest annoyance was the fact most of the music was recycled from the TV series. So now I'm only half-excited to see Yuki Kajiura returning as composer for the OAD. Of course I love Kajiura's music in the series and all but really, it's time to write some new material and continue to expand the musical universe of Tsubasa. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this but I think what's the most important aspect and most appealing regarding anime in general is story, sound, and animation. Okay yes I can get at the fact that there are Four Music Score OST's and several character albums but I still feel the possibilities are endless! :D (dramatic moment, lol) Does anyone else agree with me or is this simply my own angry rant and rave. I hope it's not, sorry I am such a music nerd, so it bugs me when you make something brand new yet you can't make some new music. It strikes me as laziness, it's one thing to me to have reoccurring themes for certain moods (ship of fools for the villains, storm and fire for action) but if all you do is re-use previous material it strikes me as lazy film making. It stikes me as "wait, you'll hire a brand new staff of animators, artists, editors, etc, yet you can't spare a little to make some new music?" I don't know this is just my thoughts on the matter. |

| I agree! Even though there are few new soundtrack, they don't release new soundtrack!! (I don't even know the name of particular soundtrack that I really need to know.... like when Real Syaoran wakes up and breaks the seal!!) |
