Your Sacrifices have drawbacks! If you sacrifice a heart then anything you do that would normally cause an increased heart rate will cause pain. So if you start running your chest will start hurting you can fight through it some but it will effect your character! Also to scare people off from always picking a big sacrifice to get a strong beast your character can be killed by a death walker! If your character does something to annoy their Death Walker they may call in your debt right away and kill you. Differences in sacrifices. If you choose a smaller sacrifice your beast is more suited to amplifying your character than fighting as a beast itself where as a bigger sacrifice will give you a much larger beast. A medium sacrifice is ind of a middle man where it can be used as both. You can add up sacrifices to make for a bigger sacrifice. if you give up several organs you can add up to a huge sacrifice, or if you give up several small things you can add up to a medium one. Now when adding up a bunch of smaller sacrifices remember that a Death Walker has no use for several of one thing. So if you want to add up two small things it will have to be two different things, for example 1 finger and 1 toe. Also your inner organs such as kidneys and lungs are a package deal (ill add more about this later still trying to make things interesting but still fair)
The parallel world is similar to the real world yet different. The people here live different lives in the two worlds but the world of Death Walkers effects the other one while the real on does not effect the Death Walker realms. This gives birth to two different story lines that can be switched back and forth between. One living in this wondrous fantasy where anything can happen and the other world where normal people are trying to figure out a string of events that are happening to them in unnatural ways.
The beast You obtain your beast by making a contract with one of the many Death Walkers. Be careful who you choose. You know very little about each of them and they have their own agenda! If they call upon you to do something remember you have a contract with this person and remember what you signed off to them. If you disobey your Death Walker they will call in your debt. Can you live without it? Your beast cannot die but it can be destroyed causing a massive mental and physical strain on the character. It will then take time to rebuild itself while the character is vulnerable.
The character and the beast are two different things but amplify eachother. The character does not turn into the beast but they have a few options. they can pull the beast inside them in order to amplify their own body or they can control the beast as if it was a summon. Similair to pokemon or yugioh for lack of a better example. The beast cannot be destroyed if its inside the character being used as an amplifier however your character is still susceptible to damage
Why would i choose a low beast when i could just give up my soul? While giving up something small may give a weaker monster to start with if you put in some hard work it can gain enough strength to match or pass over the other beasts. its all based on how much you put into it. If you give up something like your soul you may gain a really strong beast right off the bat but you will be a slave to your Death Walker. You will have to do whatever they say however they say if you dont they have the option to just kill you! Giving up a heart will just end with death while if you give up your soul your character will become an npc, a souless puppet for the death walker to add to their army.
Guns Players are allowed to have Hand guns both semi auto and full auto as long as the clips are small, 6 shooters, and shotguns. The bigger weapons will be used by Death Walkers as part of the story to give people bigger challenges.
Ammo You are responsible for keeping track of your ammo once you are out it takes a full post to reload. During reload you cant move or attack so be sure you are safe before reloading.
Summoning your beast: Summoning takes time the strength of the beast also takes its toll. the weak beasts take 1 post to summon, medium beasts take 2 posts, strong beasts take 3 posts, and the ones that sacrificed their soul must wait 4 posts. |
