Personally i am really tired see all meaningless question so i will give guide to you all.

Common Question:-

Q: This is 3rd season right ?
A: No this is basically the 5th season. Da Capo --> Da Capo Second Season --> Da Capo II --> Da Capo II Second Season --> Da Capo III

Q: As a new person to Da Capo franchise can i watch Da Capo III without watching previous season ?
A: ABSOLUTELY NO!!!. There are many reference to previous season and plot absolutely tied with previous season. If you feel too lazy to watch all the season at least watching Da Capo II Second Season first before proceed watching Da Capo III.

Q: Why Tamura Yukari not voicing Yoshino Sakura ?
A: The reason is Circus don't use Tamura Yukari anymore. Tamura Yukari voiced Yoshino Sakura in Plus Communication version before but maybe they in tight budget so they just use original seiyuu for Yoshino Sakura in Da Capo III visual novel and anime.

Q: Any previous character from Da Capo franchise ?
A: Yeah of course. Sakura or maybe some Da Capo II character cameo.

Q: What is the connection between Da Capo II and Da Capo III anyway ?
A: Da Capo III set in Hatsunejima after ** years last ep of Da Capo II. Of course that ** is spoiler. The hint is 2051.

You can ask me a question about Da Capo III and i will try to answer it.

well, I really liked D.C. and D.C. SS, I finished that then watched D.C. II ep 1 then said oh screw this there's no old cast besides Sakura. I stopped watching D.C. II and D.C. II S.S.,

As of today I have finished D.C. II and D.C. S.S. and my question is.

New Cast in D.C. III Right? Just like what happened in D.C. II? besides Sakura ofc.

Thanks! That cleared up a lot of confusing thoughts. Unfortunately that means I'll have to skip the series for now.

So watching the four prequels is necessary. I thought so after finishing the first episode. In that case it's put on-hold for the time being and thanks for the guide, buddy.

Suginami has been in all seasons but I am wondering if it's the same guy. Hopefully we find out.

yeah it's definitely best idea to watch all seasons. (I'm going to re-watch it all as well) No doubt there. it really adds a lot of enjoyment in form of nostalgic feelings, seeing and understanding references or simply seeing good old characters feels good too.

Is this season really that much tied to the prequels ? More that DC and DCII ?

Btw> didn't Sakura
I can't wait to see her again anyway. Thou I doubt we will see Junichi granpa version anymore.
( Currently interested in OP MC genre. Recommendations are welcomed, preferable those yet not on my list )

I want to watch Da Capo III but I haven't seen Da Capo II (It's not in my list so I don't think I have) and I don't remember what happened in Da Capo (the first one). Looks like I'm just going to have to watch everything from the beginning.

I wish anime seasons weren't so spread out sometimes. This isn't the first time a new season of an old show came out and I didn't remember the details from the earlier seasons.

In my opinion, it's best to watch Da Capo from the very start. Not that you won't understand the plot. Every season has a story and the whole Da Capo has a story as well. If you just watch one season of it, you won't get why it is named 'Da Capo'.

Yes, it should be an OVA series but it doesn't relate to the alternative setting for the anime.

Do the characters in D.C. III have any relation to the ones in D.C. II? Two of the characters in 3 have the same last name as Sakura and of course the immortal Suginami is there. Rikka also looks very similar to Sakura. Also it's a little sad that the Asakura name isn't in this series (or at least I don't know yet since I have started watching).

I've been watching the series since someone said it was fine, and I don't see any plot holes as of yet. Maybe watching them will make this stick out though lol.
