| Three Legendary birds: Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, and fucking Lugia. What an amazing movie! (Tho I still think first movie was a little better...). The "villain" didn't really feel like villain xD! |

| Not sure if I can agree with the English dub yet again changing the message it's trying to portray. Especially making it about Ash being The Chosen One portraying "individualism" when the message the movie has is "co-dependence" (even though you can still see and find the message in the English dub regardless) I also just realized after all these years the legendary birds having numbers in their name, "Uno, Dos and Tres". Entertaining movie though, loved that Team Rocket were helping Ash get to the island. |

| Ill always remember renting this movie on VHS in December 2000, going to Blockbuster, back when I was a huge Pokemon fan from when it all started back in 1997-1998 till the end of the Silver Tournament in 2003 when Ash beat Gary, and then both Ash and Gary starting a new journey with their beginning Pokemons only. What always stood out to me about this movie were the Pokeshipping moments between Ash and Misty and Melody. I can still remember being a huge pokeshipper back then. And of course the Melody flute song. And then I can still remember back in December 2000 returning the VHS tape to blockbuster. Great memories. |

| Two more types of pokemon that talk. Some 3D scenes weren't very cool, but for the time it was an innovation. Ash being a hero. It was good to have met these legendary pokemons. Team Rocket being good once again. |

| as the 2nd pokemon movie i thought it would be a lot better but it just felt like a drop off after the 1st movie in terms of animation & just overall watchability the jokes were just horrible. if it wasnt pokemon than i would rate it a lot worst. 3/5 here. 6/10 on MAL |

| man these Pokemon movies are awesome. i remember think the 3 legendary birds were amazing in my formative years too, seeing this back then would have REALLY done it for me. but well it still really did it for me as an adult, amazing movie, pure magic Team Rocket the good guys ^_^ Ash's mom <3 Weird Al during the credits lmao Polkamon |
| i was kinda dreading rewatching this because of how much i watched this as a kid. but now i think its actually good, better than movie 1. the lugia song is really nice and lugia's introduction is so cool :D |
