| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dukemon is strong! Beelzebumon has epic stamine as he could just take hit after hit. I wonder why he couldn't dodce that last attack? Why everyone just freezes when some slow projectile is coming right into them, when you could just dodge it easily by jumping to the side. I wonder if Beelze is going to help in some battle and then die? Redemption equals death as they say in Tvtropes. I hope there is gun store in Digital World so he can at least get some ammo... |
| damn, that battle was pretty damn epic. I liked the way they did with Impmon and how they developed him. |

| That was probably one of the worst flashbacks I've seen in my entire anime watching career. What was the point?! All it did was highlight the worst of Impmon's pettiness and selfish desires which directly contrast how he acts right after. Shouldn't be highlighting the very few times he hung with Takato-tachi or was being "nice" plus the dumb character point of missing those shitty brats? And the whole not dodging thing really kills the battles for me (ignoring he loads Diva data and actually gets weaker for it AND the whole using the attacks of them is never brought up again because WHY NOT.) I'm starting to get there has to be a delay because they need to say their attacks, but they go too far with it sometimes. What makes it even worse is the fact Beelzebumon DID dodge earlier, so yeah, the battle ended poorly. What a shock. I do have question the logic here, though. If they kill Beelzebumon, wouldn't that technically release the all the data he's ever loaded? Does the data make a digiegg if not loaded? Let's see if these questions are ever answered. |
| Dukemon vs Beelzebumon. Dukemon is a Holy knight. The bike. Chatsuramon talking to kami. Chatsuramon appears before Lopmon. Dukemon kills Chatsuramon. Beelzebumon absorbs the data. Moumantai. Dukemon protects Kenta. Guardromon saves Dukemon. Dat Final Elysion! Noob move by Takato to fusion cancel in front of Beelzebumon instead of after he left. He could have decided to kill them. Also, this series likes to have the enemy digimon not dodge the attack that ends up beating them. I've brought this up in past episodes. |

| Beelzebumon and Dukemon were evenly matched, but Beelzebumon got an upper hand after he called his bike, Behemot. However, Dukemon managed to destroy the bike. Meanwhile, Zhuqiaomon ordered Caturamon to destroy the traitorous Andiramon, but Dukemon easily defeated Caturamon after he showed up. Unfortunately, Beelzebumon absorbed his data and became even stronger. Beelzebumon was about to strike the final blow, but Guardromon interrupted him just in the nick of time by shooting missiles at him. Dukemon got his own chance to finish the battle, but Yuri stopped him. She said she doesn't want to lose anyone else. |

| Easily the best fight this season, both from animation and character stand point. We had actual choreography for once, and Gallantmon maxed out his style points here. Did they just recap Impmon's entire life story? Like, I get it, he's reflecting on how much of a piece of shit he was and how much bigger her heart is than his ego. Did it need to be 4 minutes of pure recap though? |
