Nice ending to the arc, though the space battle thing was kind of weird.

Yep, exactly my thoughts. That space scene really intervenes the duel which it made me ridicule.

Also, Manjoume can't really win without his Ojama combo eh. I also wonder if that chick who has a crush on Judai will stay in the academy.

Never mess with the power of the Gran Mole. Lesson learned Saiou.

So now what big bad will come up in the next part?

The part of the spirits fighting in space was weird.

I found it disturbing that the final Genex duel was shown alongside a duel to SAVE THE WORLD, but thankfully this episode handled it better. Overall a good ending to this messy arc. Saiou/Light of Destruction was a good villain at least.

And that space battle was hilarious lmao

Pretty nice conclusion overall, didn't feel as anticlimatic as the battle against Kagemaru. As a whole, season was really enjoyable and some duels that were fire.

But now we're about to enter the best season.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Not bad. I'm glad this arc is over, hopefully Asuka, Misawa, and The Chazz play a bigger role in the next season.

Okay for starters while the final duel against Saiou was handled way better than the one against Kagemaru last season, this episode had to rush the ending and it felt sloppy. I mean the final clash between Neos and The Light Ruler should've been a lot more dramatic and epic, yet half of that scene didn't even have background music and even when music finally played, it was the usual heroic theme that gets used in every other episode when Judai's about to win. Also Grand Neos debuted but didn't actually accomplish anything, so that sucks.

The whole SORA satellite subplot was handled strangely too. I can let Glow Neos in space slide, but why the hell did they suddenly bring back Kenzan's virtual world dinosaur form? That made absolutely no sense and was just as ridiculous as Mizuchi's soul sabotaging the satellite. Plus all that did was waste time that should've been used in either the main duel of the episode, or Manjoume vs Rei.

An alien sentai hero-looking embassy is leading a dinosaur spirit of a man into space to destroy a mind control satellite. Someone wrote this.

Not only is Kenzan part dinosaur because of the bone in his leg, but he literally has the spirit of one. Oh, and Glow Neos can take the spirits out of real humans. Don't worry though, because it was pointless for either of them to go to space because Mizuchi's digitized brain hacked the satellite to destroy it.

There was a lot to enjoy about this arc, specifically the white supremacist cult who are trying to ethnically cleanse the world by "bathing it in light" to serve the will of a single man who claims he can foretell destiny. Maybe it's just because of what's going on in America right now, but this arc feels very relevant despite some well deserved criticism with the overall plot development. What an insane ending though
