Axis waves a hand from Shinobu to Diana. "Diana, this is Sjinobu, my travelling companion." Just as he was finishing his sentence the earth began to shake and heave violently; like nothing Axis had experienced before. Barely staying on his feet he looks to Diana and shouts over the noise. "Is that offer to join your screw still available?! I Think we might take it!"

Seeing the resolve of this man's crew he could not stay. He offered his thanks to the girl and quickly turned round and made his way back to the island's docks. By now most of the market district was ablaze so after taking several sync routes he finally made it. There were so many ships that the poor harbor was filled to the brim and still more kept arriving. "That festival must be something." He thought to himself as made his way along the docks. After about half an hour he found one small enough to set sail with only one person. After politely seeing if anyone was home he jumped aboard and in about an hour of struggling he finally set sail off to have his own little adventure.

~Before reaching spin-spin island~ A sword flashed past Frhost’s head as he swivelled to evade the thrust, pursuing to counter attack by unbalancing the warrior with his shield before retreating. The two men circled, watching each other carefully, but the opponent couldn’t hold eye contact for long with Frhost’s piercing golden eyes as he took the chance and leapt forward with a swift unaided thrust of his glowing obsidian blade. The man was caught off guard and barely had time to parry the strike, receiving a cut on his shoulder as he went to deliver a palm thrust at Frhost who bent backwards then swayed his torso to the left as he came to rise. The other warrior reacted by sending a blow with his elbow from his use-to-be outstretched arm to Frhost’s face who simply raised his shield and guided his arm further behind the opponent forcing him to turn as the obsidian blade was thrusted at his stomach. The man evaded by leaping away mid-turn and as if in time Xerridah jumped backwards from the upper-deck onto the ropes that were tight in mid air. The opponent followed suit and leapt across, wobbling as he tried to balance himself but it was a foolish move as Frhost ran nimbly towards him, thrusting the bottom edge of his icy shield into the man’s gut sending him tumbling off the tightrope and onto the deck 3 meters below before sheathing his blade and storing his shield. Xerridha leapt down quietly and helped the man up. “Don’t try to fight another on their own terms, and definitely don’t overestimate your own capabilities.” The man accepted the helping hand and got to his feet. “I will remember that for next time m’lord.” Xerridah shot him a glance. “Father, captain on friend, I don’t appreciate being called a lord by my own family…even if we aren’t related by birth.” “Okay…father.” From the crow’s nest the call for docking was heard and Xerridah Frhostborn stood at the front of the ship, arm resting on his blade as the ship came to a stop. His crew was lining the rails, making a pathway for their captain as he strode off the ship, his feet meeting land and his men at attention around him. “At ease my children.” ~Spin spin island – prior to the merchant rush~ A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS Xerridah Frhostborn, known to others from his peculiar wanted poster as the ‘Obsidian King’ stepped off his ship and onto the sands of spin-spin Island. He was tall but not lanky or of exaggerated height, he wore a fur coat held on with stuffed wolves’ head pauldrons, his armour visible by the gap in his coat made by his hand resting on the hilt of his sword underneath intricately designed leather and fur armour in dark and earthen colours. He wore a black iridescent crown with what seemed to be small snowflakes with jewels imbedded in the centre of them bringing contrast to his dark blond hair. The most eye-catching aspect of his appearance though was his eyes. His crew all had silver eyes, not easily mistaken for being grey as they seemed to glow and glitter, some had golden eyes, not easily mistaken for the same reason. All of the silver eyed followers had piercing gazes and the golden eyed ones sharp gazes…except for their captain. Xerridah’s gaze seemed to rest on everything at once, intruding into their very beings, his piercing golden eyes glittering in the sunlight as he strode through the market place looking at wares and discussing prices. He halted as he saw a man crash onto the shore with a cannon imbedded with dials. Another man approached him and picked a fight, though he stood as no match for this giant of a man as he casually walked over and strapped the giant cannon onto his arm. He followed him with guile as he sent out what seemed to be a cloud fox to follow a strange dog he had seen. In his mind’s eye he knew the dog would escape. Xerridah approached the man as he sat down, interested in how he came to have a cloud fox at his side, thought he suspected he already knew. “Greetings cannon wielder, I am Xerridah of the Ashen pirates, would you care to share your story with me?” His voice held a thick accent, one which made every word he spoke sound like a masterfully constructed piece of art. Boomie looked towards the man and grunted as he turned back to his quarry only to see him gone. “Tch, ‘guess, the damned thing’s gone now.” Unlike Xerridah, Boomie’s speech was guttural and had a rasp to it, although it had a practiced sound to it and stuck his cigar in his mouth once more. “Whad’ya want?” “I just told you, but more specifically I want to know how you came by a cloud fox of such magnificence and the knowledge of dial mastery you possess.” Boomie stood, stretching to come to his full height, over seven feet tall he towered over Xerridah, looking down at him. Frhost matched his gaze with his piercing golden eyes, and although he was the one who was being looked down upon, Boomie felt uneasy – as if he were smaller than the newcomer and was the one being looked down upon. It wasn’t intimidation exactly, there was just something in his eyes that made him seem to know something, at the same time making him feel like an old friend. “S’pose I can’ speh’ a few. Yo’ treat. Nam’s Boomie.” The large man bellowed. Placing a hand on the side of the giants arm, Xerridah casually and soothingly responds. “Nice to meet you Boomie.” ~During the merchant rush~ As Xerridah and Boomie sat down and conversed they ended up bartering. Boomie was looking to set up shop on the island, but Xerridah had suggested to make his shop a floating merchant shop, to increase business – but in reality he felt as though something bad was going to happen. Somehow, Xerridah ended up trading his ship for Boomie’s. Whilst his was decked out with dials and would suit a merchant stall, Boomie’s was stripped bare from an earlier incident and reduced to a basic ship. To compensate Boomie had given a cloud fox pup to him, an offspring of Snow along with free purchase off any of his wares and his friendship. To commemorate the deal Xerridah named his cloud fox Snough, a homophone to her parent’s name. And so, the two men parted ways to forge their own paths. ~Just before the marine rush~ Xerridah with his new companion at hand along with his old crew were resting on their new vessel at the docks, Xerridah looking at his new 3-pronged log pose he had purchased from Boomie. And then the ground began to shake. (~on hiatus, char to be npc’d by Hai/shad~) (@talia: Hai and shad plan to join me, get separated from them along the way.)

Shinobu watched Heartway mesmerized. That looked cool Her mechanical arm was raised in admiration as Shinobu tried to imitate Heartway. "Gaia Breaker!" The punch hammered down with a deceptive amount of force for her size as she poured as much energy as she could muster into the blow. A flower of cracked pavement blossomed around her but nothing else visible happened causing Shinobu to be disheartened. Underneath the ground the energy from her punch had dispersed it a large cone, pulverizing the hard rock and concrete foundations of the town. "Well that was rather anti- WAAHHHH -" The tumultuous earth latched on to the weakness Shinobu had exposed and used it to rip the earth apart, creating a great chasm that split the middle of town in half. The opposing sides pushed outwards as the gouge opened deeper and ran further along. The port town starting to split into two independent ledges as sea water came rushing in from the docks to fill the void. Shinobu sat in a pile looking pleased with herself while the cliff of town she was sat upon drifted away from the nice lady who had paid for the misplaced kindness. She waved politely, because it was the polite thing to do.

Axis suddenly got a bad feeling as he watched shinobu raised her fist into the air and start to shout 'Gaia Breaker' "shinobu don't you da.." He was cut short as she crashed her fist into the ground as a rather impressive impression for such a small girl. Well; if you didn't know her powers that is. Seeing her downtrodden look, obviously at nothing happening, he decided to say something. "Your lucky you didn't break anythi.." Once again he was cut short, not by Shinobu but instead by the earth cracking open. Swiftly Axis reacts and jumps backwards away from the crevice that had suddenly appeared between himself and diana. Axis stands next to shinobu as Diana 'drifts' away and calls out. "I might have to decline your offer after all!" Without waiting for a response Axis starts thinking of a way to get off the island. "Come on Shinobu we gotta go, let's see if we can get to the docks a different way, maybe we can find a ship." You won't find a ship, no-one is stupid enough to stick around and your last chance is over the other side of that chasm Without waiting for a reply axis sets off and finds a side alley that has been completely destroyed by the fissure and makes his way down to the docks with Shinobu in tow. Once he is there he can only find one ship in sight. A very basic looking ship, large enough to hold 20 or so men. He approaches the ship to discover people aboard it. "Hello there! I'm seeking passage off the island might I join you for awhile?" The captain of the ship, Zerridah Frhostborn, reply's "I am set on a personal journey; if you are willing to travel the same way you are welcome aboard." "Thank-you greatly, we will not be a bother." Axis and Shinobu board the vessel and it is not long before they set off from the island and venture into the ocean beyond. As soon as they hit open water Xerridah and his men head below deck leaving Shinobu and Axis alone to explore the top half of the ship.

"God durnit!!" Ringer shouted, once again utterly lost amongst the stalls. Even covering the 150meter distance between him and Noah, he managed to lose him in the crowd and was once again on his own. "Thats it, im sick of this durn crowd and this durn ISLAND!" As he shouted, the ground started trembling beneath his feet. "Whoa, i take that back hon calm down!" Figured this was about to become a bad place to be, Ringer headed towards the only thing he could always find, The Sea. He weaved between the stalls, following his nose towards the scent of salt and familiar Ironclad steel. It wasnt long until he was back out on the docks, and spotted Sanity's Edge off the coast. "Bah, where did we leave the bloody dingie.."

Sergio stepped out from the rest of the crew after Kuro had addressed them. It all seemed official now. They had a captain. They had been given a name. Perhaps his journey to find his sister would finally begin. As he stepped out from the crowd, he was loading a bullet into one of his flint-lock pistols. A murmur seemed to rise up from the crew. Was this guy actually going to challenge Kuro for the title of captain? Didn't he just see him take out that huge monster in one swipe? "Captain Kuro....." The bullet had been loaded and he cocked the hammer back. Nobody was able to move from where they stood. Sergio reached up with his free hand and tipped his hat up to show his face. "It'll be an honor to sail with ya anywhere the seas take us; at least until I complete my goals. If there's anyone who could lead us around the world, it would be you. I wouldn't have settled for anyone less. Now, to make this official...." Sergio brought the pistol up. There was a moment when everyone's breath had been caught in their chest as the pistol pointed at Kuro. However, Sergio never hesitated as he brought the pistol up above his head and pulled the trigger. The gunshot sounded over the quiet night air. For a few seconds, nothing had happened. Suddenly, a large flash of light and an explosion sounded as a huge red firework was unleashed into the sky. He had picked up this special ammo from one of the stalls before he headed back to the ship, figuring that it might be useful in the near future. At the same time the firework went off, Spin-Spin Island seemed to be shaking and breaking apart. It was a good thing they were on the ship already. "Sir. We are the Midnight Pirates, and we are ready for your first orders!" The crew cheered at these words. It seemed like everyone was ready to see what was out there.

"TAKE ONE MORE STEP AND I'LL SHOVE THIS GUITAR SO FAR UP YOUR ASS THAT WHEN I TICKLE YOUR STOMACH, YOU'LL BE PLAYING ME A MELODY!" As the crowd began to disperse, making a clear opening for Ringer to look on ahead, an enraged Noah was visibly seen atop the dinghy's bow, hacking away at passerby pirates that dared to approach the vessel. After a few more swats and further squabbling Noah took notice of his fellow crew mate whom also seemed to be fed up with the situation at hand. "You look worse than the last bastard I used as a guitar Ringer, hurry up and get on!" shouted the crazed musician.

"Noah! God durnit i thought i had lost you in the crowd!" Ringer bellowed as he climbed into the little boat. His size causing the boat to lean almost 45degrees towards the front and still miraculously it didnt take it water. "Durnit, we're not leaving without Miss Moneypenny!" The oversized blacksmith grunted as he scanned the docks from the boat to try and spot Diana somewhere. The buildings and stalls were starting to fall apart due to the quakes, and the scrambling people could easly stomp someone to death if they didnt keep their footing. A panickstricked merchant spotted them and tried climbing into the boat. Flailing and shouting, the man received a monstrous hammerfist to the face as reward for his desperate attemt at boarding. The sound of the nose breaking into many pieces could easily be heard as the merchant dipped back into the water and floated off into the sunset sound asleep.

(I'll try to take as goos a grasp of the situation as I can, I'm sorry if something doesn't make sense) Kaname looked around the island when she suddenly heard people shouting. She went uphill, and saw some people making a fuss in a boat beneath her. Are they... pirates? She took a step closer to the edge, only to notice too late that she was slipping away and fell from the cliff, making a perfect landing in the boat with the other two.

Diana's reaction seems slow and as it seemed she would fall, to the untrained eye, it would seem that she jumped back off of air when in reality gold coins were now falling down the crevice, having been used as a platform connected to the splitting ground. She ended up on the opposite side of the ravine and clicks her tongue in agitation. "There goes my engineer..." She mutters before tossing the blue log pose to him. "Keep it, kid! You'll need it!" She shouts before heading off. She had a new dilemma on her hands...and it's one that even unlimited funds could not solve. "Curse you, nature and your apathy towards wealth!" She cries out dramatically as she ran towards the docks, wanting to get off of this accursed island. There, she spots Ringer and Noah in a boat and heads over there, hearing "Miss Moneypenny" as she got closer. "You called?" She jokes as she hops into the small boat. "Who's the kid?"

Pointing one of the rows at Diana, Noah cut off any further answering from the other crew members as he shouted with gusto, "What kind of man are you to question or new crew mate. Simply put, she was in need and we happen to serve that need!" Yes, everything he said made no sense, and it didn't matter to him as he would ignore any reaction from coming his way as he began to push off the docks with the lone row he had. The other row was presumably somewhere on the boat but Noah was too busy laughing at his ridiculous comment to care.

"Oi, we dont take.." Ringer shouted, before cutting himself short noticing it was a young girl. Ringer had a soft spot for young people, especially girls. He lowered his clenched fist which was already halfway into a punch out of instinct. "Uhm.. its a durn girl.." He said in a defeated manner, as if there was absolutely nothing he could do about that. "Durnit, we'll have to talk later" It was around this time that Diana returned. "Welcome back Miss Moneypenny~" Ringer noted musically, obviously making some obscure reference to some internal joke or something. Without further ado he rubbed his hands together before using them as oars, and begun rowing like his life depended on it. Which, ironically, it did. "Pick up the pace Noah! The Edge isnt getting any closer!" He said, directing the boat towards Sanity's Edge. His hands were about the size of your average oar, but his strength made the boat travel just a wee bit faster then a regular rowing would produce. "We need speed!"

As soon as everything happened, Kaname noticed she was being taken away by these people. Or was she being kidnapped? Or was she hacking then now? She didn't really know. Though she did not she had been searching for people to travel with for a while now. Maybe going with these people would not be so bad. She didn't have any family or friends, any precious possessions, just a strong wish to set out to sea once again like she used to do. She hardened her resolve, and gathered some courage to speak to them. "You.. are pirates right? Then, if it's okay... Please take me with you! I'll do everything! I promise I won't be in the way!"

"Dammit all, I'm rowing as fast as I can! Maybe if those two did more than just sexy pose while we do all the rowing, we would probably have made it there by now right FEARLESS LEADER!?" Just then, a keen idea struck his mind. Not too often does a good idea cross Noah's mind, probably due to drinking or distraction from a passing skirt. Anyhow, he dipped his right leg into the water as he continued to paddle, channeling his energy into his leg as the water around began to swirl in a small whirlpool. "Rankyaku!" He shouted as the leg kicked backward, providing a boosting push for the boat to cruise at the speed of a missile towards the Edge.

"Sorry boys, I'm no good with physical labor~" Diana laughs, patting Kaname on the head. "As for you, why the hell not? We could always use a cabin boy...girl...well whatever. Stay useful and we'll keep you." Her smile was warm, but that was the point. It's hard to hide a truly cruel interior with a smile that doesn't seem at all friendly. Diana thinks about all of the things she could use these people for, hatching plan after plan after plan. The possibilities were turning out endless! "So what can you d-" She was about to ask when she suddenly grew pale and it seemed the shock of the realization that had dawned on her had paralyzed her. Her body shakes as she quietly mutters. "We have to find that damned tinkerer..." It was here that she let out a scream that could be heard across the entirety of the grand line. "HE HAS MY GUNS!!! Quickly! Spot him!" She was uncharacteristically panicked by these material possessions. Couldn't she just buy more of them? The answer is more complicated than you may think, even if it is a resounding NO! "My guns...oh the guns...they're a family heirloom, that I had modified to fire coins but that's beside the point. I wouldn't be here without either of them!" She paces around the rowboat, looking around for the man that still had her guns. Suddenly her hands brush something familiar and she pulls out one of the guns and then the other. Her face goes from pale to red in a moments notice and she flops down onto the boat, looking down in shame. "S-sorry...carry on."

With blodshot eyes, grunting like a porcupine in heat, Ringer wasnt really paying attention to the things going on in the boat. Although he wouldve enjoyed Dianas little moment of derp. He was rowing with all his might as the very sea started to grow agitated from the trembling. Random, sharp waves seemed to rise from the sea like tiny mountains. Not like the rolling waves they were used to, no this was the sea herself heaving with Spin-spin islands torment. The added speed from Noahs move did wonders for the boat. Previously seriously front-heavy due to Ringers size, Noahs added thrust helped push the boat on top of the water into a state where it was simply flying across the surface barely even touching the water. Like a missile indeed. Approaching the "Edge" however, Ringer suddenly realized just what was about to happen. Wood boat vs steel ship at a ridiculous speed, this wasnt going to end well at all. "Durrrrrrn we gotta jump!" he bellowed and stood up in the boat. Fortunately he had wonderful sealegs, and managed to stay on his feet without being thrown off. On cue all four of them leapt from the rowboat onto Sanity's Edge, just as it erupted in a wondrous fountain of wood and splinters. Ringer caught his leg on the railing and ended up crashing into the deck, nearly rolling off the other side before getting a solid grip. He didnt waste any time checking if the others were fine. With the exception of the new girl, Ringer had no doubt they would handle such a trivial (yeah right) move without injury. Heading straight for the anchor, he used his might to single-handedly start hoisting the massive anchor. A feat usually shared between the strength of 10 rugged sailors. He knew there wasnt time to start barking orders or organize shit. He simply had to trust the others knew what to do in order to get them out of this place, and focused all his concentration and strength on getting the anchor up as fast as possible. And true enough, as he had the anchor safely hoisted and turned around, his assumption had held true. Diana and the new girl had already unfurled the sails, and were just done fastening them as Noah turned the helm facing Sanity's edge away from the island. As the wind grabbed hold of the sails, the massive ironblob begun drifting gently away from the island...

Kaname smiled at Diana as she was being patted on the head. "Thank you!" she told her. After that, Diana asked her what she could do. Well, actualy, she was about to, but a matter considering her guns seemed to be of more importance. As Diana was about to lose her mind, Kaname thought the possibilities over in her mind. Could she help her? If she could, how? They were in a boat now, they couldn't go back to search. It was just at that moment when Diana stopped screaming, and sat down again. Kaname saw two guns in her hands, and was happy at the fact Diana didn't forget them. Then she remebered the question Diana was about to ask. "Let's see... Well, I can clean, and I can cook a little, and I know a little about navigation, I guess... Any good?" (After that, everything in Psy-san's post happened)

((If anyone is still on the island, your dead. Consider the thread closed from this point on.)) The tremors ravaged the town until it had completely sunk into the ground, the people of Spin-Spin barely got a mind of the situation before their homes and ultimatly their lives were swallowed by the very island they cherished. The hills collapsed and the fields sunk the abyss, water flowed into newly created valleys, causing most of the island to slowly start to sink into the sea, though some places the ground met in great clashes and formed small mountains and spires that reached astonishing heights, and in the middle of destruction and creation a single titan walked strode through his home-made hell, the ground never collapsed beneath his feet, as if it was afraid of the consequences. Dragging with him the corpse of a half-giant pirate, and with it; he swept aside the few foes that still remained, mercilessly destroying anything alive with a mask of ice, never did he stop for a single moment before the screams and moans finally stopped, and all that reigned on the island was the deep silence of the grave, then and only then did Heartway stop his rampage, allowing himself to look away from his work and onto the sea, upon which the few surviving pirates were taking flight, hoping for a new tomorrow. Must be nice.. He thought solemnly, his eyes sweeping the coastline for gods know what, util his so far closed fists finally started to uncurl, his back sunk and his eyes closed and for a moment he went from a living titan to a weak, aging old man. Opening his eyes yet again he wondered for a moment if he should give chase, one of the closer boats, an old ironclad were within his reach, so was a couple of other pirate ships, new flags he did't recognise waved proudly, taunting him with their very existance. But he stopped himself; after-all, he had only been ordered to destroy the island, not the ones who had inhabited it. Allowing himself a rather dark chuckle, he gained strength in his little defiance as he turned back to where he had come, once again becoming a titan as he slowly walked back to where he he had left his ship, walking through the gradually sinking landscape with a calm mind and a song on his lips.
