| My eyes narrowed slightly at the words of the new comer. It was one thing to suspect that people would underestimate me, but it was quite another thing to have it presented in such a fashion–it was disgraceful. The woman should know that only the best of the best were here; well, maybe not the best but those with hope to actually become something. My hand twitched slightly, my lips condensing into a straight line. My voice was chilly even to my own ears, as I grinded out one word. “Why?” My hand snapped out into a fast motion, a knife sailing through the air quick as a pigeon taking wing after being spooked. The knife was intended to sail as close to the woman as it could, nicking her throat barely and leaving a minor scratch; however, as it left my hand, it rotated slightly, the hilt of the small knife aimed for the center of her throat. It wouldn’t do much damage if it hit, but it probably wouldn’t feel too good; after all, being punched in the throat usually knocks the air right out of an individual! I still wasn’t very good at this hole throwing sharp objects thing… |

| Seeing the blade and being able to do something about it were two different things. Sadly Jade had to watch as the blade hilt crashed into her windpipe. Thankfully she had been conditioned to deal with pain although she still had trouble with catching her breath afterwards. After a whizzing fit she straightened up grabbed the kid by the collar. "So you feel like picking fights? Feel that you have to prove yourself? Well you know what? That is very rude and it hurts my feelings." she said tearing up at the notion that this girl was a bully even at her young age. |

| I couldn’t believe my eyes, or my ears for that matter. I twisted hard, attempting to get away from the woman…to no avail. I glared up at her, but couldn’t maintain a harsh demeanor. I bit my lower lip, and scuffed my feet. “I’m sorry miss, but seriously…you acted like I don’t belong in the ranks of the elite…you got to admit though right right? My knife trick was sugoii!” |

| Jade sighed and released her. Intimidating was for the weak and she didn't want to come off as a bully. So instead she went the more polite approach. "Well if we're going to be training together I need to know your name. Well?" she asked waiting for the chibi to answer her question. |

| “My name is kaya Doma, don’t forget!” I spun around and bowed deeply, very un-lady like given the situation. My lips were turned half up in a smile, but my eyes showed no friendly emotion; I could feel it trickling through me…the emptiness. It has always persisted within me, ever sense that fateful day…but that’s another story! I turned, and began to run off down the hall, forgetting all about the women suddenly. |
