"Alright, lets go find those horses and probably they'd lead to that pirate the tavern was talking about." Mio had said.

Yume nodded.

Tugging on Mio's arm, Yume waked with a cheerful smile on her face. It was a wonderful world where the two of them could dance and frolic about - At least, that's what Yume thought. Seeing that Mio looked a slight bit uneasy after hearing her bounty, Yume whispered in her ear as they walked around.

"Don't worry! Yume won't do anything to Mio - Yume will only chase down the bad people." She said, in her normal voice. From a bystander's perspective, it was almost as if Yume spoke as a child, considering her use of third person when she reassured Mio of her safety.

They walked for a brief period of time until the encounter of Xerridah. Though his introduction was rather lackluster and failed to spark Yume's attention, she could see that he was a man of courtesy that addressed women respectfully.

"Be wary, the killer escaped me, though he is maimed he still posses a threat." He had said.

Yume walked up to the man and jumped into the air.

"Tall and polite!" Yume had said, as she kept jumping in attempt to pat the man in the head. She putted after seeing that she was incapable of reaching his head. The exchange between Mio and Xerridah continued, with Xerridah's warning in regards to a killer and Mio's request to join his crew. Yume herself wasn't too sure about all of this - She would have to decide between keeping her toy, or appreciating it by allowing it to eventually go and explore the world for itself!

With that thought, Yume had decided that the three of them would go on an adventure to chase after the "bad guy". Through this adventure, she would be able to judge Mio for how she is and how much she could appreciate her well-being.

"Killer? Let's go find him!"

With that being said, Yume raised her hand. Snow formed around her body, to the point of covering a large portion of ground. It had encased all three of their feet. Yume then pointed her index finger forward. The massive amount of snow begun to blow in the wind, carrying the three at once.

They were flying on a blanket of snow! Onwards, Yume thought, as the snow blanket began moving to the direction that Yume pointed to.

Frost tried to ignore the jumping of the girl, feeling somewhat guilty for being tall, but he smiled genuinely at the compliment.

"Your a pirate! And well I'd like it if I....uh we'd be able to join you and your crew!"

Frost raised an eyebrow at this and turned to Mio.

"I am but a stranger to you am I not?"

Then he realised the we and remembered how Yume was clinging to Mio, turning to Yume now.

"And I have a feeling you wouldn't want to board a ship with pirates...nor do you want to be separated with your friend...sorry..."

He turned his attention to both of them.

"You know my name but I do not know your's. May I hear them?"

All of a sudden Frost was swept away by the snow around his horses ankles. He could quickly jump off, he needed to get back to his crew but he also needed to return the horse. He glared at Yume.

"So you're a snow woman, gifted by Leviathi. I realise you're strong, but I need to get back to my crew. Bloodbeard is hidden in a warren underground and I'm incapable of being of any help to you. I don't like to leave people to fight on their own, but I'm sure you can handle yourself. This is where we part ways...for now."

Frost looked down, gathered up Willy's corpse, the horse head and the fingers.

"Make sure you return to return the horse to the Fluffy Duck Tavern."

And with that, Xerridah jumped off of his horse down to the trees below, swerving and leaping from various branches until he lands safely onto the ground.

"Suno!"

Snough was frightened from the daring move, but Xerridah just smiled a ruffled the cloud fox's fur on its head. He then set out off at a reasonable pace, reaching the Fluffy Duck Tavern in short time, pounding on the locked door. O'Reilly came out.

"What is it?! Closed due to pirate infestation!"

"Is that how you folk treat a warrior returning alive?"

There was a quick scuffle as O'Reilly rushed to open the door. He hesitated at the last moment, but he needed to know if the beast was dealt with...and he wanted his horses back. Opening the door his eyes widened in shock. There were multiple scratches covering the pirates body, but all of them seemed to come from sticks or other environmental factors.

"You're in...you don't...have injuries." O'Reilly's hopes rose.

Xerridah thought on that and then came to the conclusion the O'Reilly had already begun to thought the best case scenario.

"Sorry, the 'beast' which is a certain Captain Bloodbeard gone insane, fled from me in a warren of underground tunnels."

O'Reilly's face darkened at this.

"And my horses?"

Frost nodded.

"One died, Bloodbeard got it, I have its head if you want to mount it on a wall or something to monument the horses sacrifice."

Frost held up the large bag.

"Along with him he also got Willy, I brought him back so you could bury him or burn him, whichever it is you people do."

"Killed a horse and a man then escaped without a scratch?!"

"Not...without a scratch!"

Frost passed O'Reilly the small bag, who's face contorted at the sight of Bloodbeards fingers.

"That, and he's burned, though not life threatening or too hindering."

"Burned and maim and came back without battle wounds....done better than all so far, he even fled from you...what about the horse I gave you?"

Frost's face turned to a lame half-smile half-frown, one asking for forgiveness but light heartedly.

"Well, it got stolen by a snow woman."

"GAH! She came in here earlier and messed the place up! that horse is gone for good!"

Frost shook his head in disagreement.

"She seemed nice enough, no harm will come to the horse, and if it knows its way back here it will return. She is strong, she went to kill Bloodbeard. Much stronger than I, I am sure she will succeed. I requested her to return the horse in any case."

"You REQUESTED?! YOU GAVE HER UP?! I thought you said it was stolen..."

"Yes...and so was I. To escape I had to leave the horse behind, I need to get back to my crew."

Without another word, Xerridah unloaded everything to O'Reilly for him to deal with the remains of the 3 victims of battle. And then he left.

He could sense Axis presence a few streets down and appeared before him in no time at all.

"Are we ready for departure?"

Axis smiles as Frost finds him and asks

"Are we ready for departure?"

"Almost! We need to wait for Shinobu to return but in the mean time you could go get the rest of the crew and bring all of our equipment here and load it onto the new ship."

Nova was bored. She had scoured the building and found nothing valuable, so she settled for a few interesting things, but Shinobu was still at her desk, in a trance, inventing. So she turned her attention to the box and for a while it entertained her, until the point where she gave up trying to force it open and could bear the silence no longer.

"Hey, can we leave yet?"

"I'm still working."

"So that's a no, then?"

"I'm not leaving, if that's what you mean."

Nova sighed and felt the last of her patience slipping away.

"Hey, what's in the box?"

"What box?"

"The box he gave you. The present."

"Nothing. Probably."

"Huh?"

"The box is made of Platinum."

"Is that good?"

"It's rare."

Nova's eyes light up.

"So that means it's valuable?"

"To me."

"I'm hungry."

"Me too."

Shinobu wrote a small note, got up and took the box from Nova and left the workshop to head back to the docks, with bouncy girl in foot.

- I changed the design a bit, I hope you don't mind. Better luck next time. Thanks for the Box - Shinobu

As Axis recommended, Frost set off to the ship that they came in on where the rest of the crew was waiting. They were sitting around a large heat dial on deck, eating, drinking and gambling. When they 'felt' Frost's presence they all turned around.

"Welcome back Prince Frhostborn!"

"You're back again Xerridah!"

etc etc

Frost patted the air and waited for them to hush.

"Sorry to get you working so soon, but I'm going to need some help carrying over all our equipment to the new ship. Any takers?"

Most of them stood up, packing away their games, some more happy than others due to saving money from a losing bet, and then went to help their captain transfer the contents of their ship. All of them new of it as the shipwrights turned out to be gossips, or maybe they lost the information in a bet, it was a viable thing to wager in their culture after all.

Soon enough a stream of pirates richly dressed in fur and leather, tidier than most, going to and fro from the old and new vessels had been established.

AS the ship is finishing being loaded Axis wonders on board for a moment to return carrying a sack; bulging at the bottom.

"Everyone onto the ship! we are about to depart!"

Heeding his words the crew all board the ship, Shinobu and Frost bringing up the rear.

Doug: "Not until you pay me my gold you won't be"

At Doug's words all the shipwrights in the warehouse step forward, planks of wood and all kinds of assorted tools half hidden behind their backs.

"Of course not, let me just show it to you."

Axis places the sack onto the ground in front of him with a loud thunk.

"Let me just grab some out for you."

Axis reaches into the sack and as he reaches the bottom a two small 'shink' noises can be heard. Axis pulls out his hands that now have some strange fan-like, bloodsteel gauntlets covering them.

Doug: "What in the world?! Where's my gold?!"

The shipwrights pull out their makeshift weapons and shuffle forward waiting for Doug's word.

"I like to call this rotor gauntlets. You see I have a devil fruit that allows me to spin any joint of my body.... Well I think you can see where I'm going with this."

Doug: "Get him! Don't let the filthy pirates leave!"

"Too late..."

Axis spins his hands and the gauntlets fly into action, the rotors at the end spinning up to speed in no time. Axis points his hands towards the oncoming marines and braces himself for whats to come.

"Rotor Push 20,000!"

Instantly that rpm jumps to 20,000 as a strong gust of wind is blown out from the gauntlets blowing back and knocking over all the shipwrights in front of him and sending him hurtling backwards and crashing onto the deck of the ship.

"Well that was stronger than I thought...."

Doug: "Burn the ship if you have to! Don't let them get away!"

Without wasting a moment Axis clambers to his feet and rushes to the edge of the deck.

"REMEMBER THIS DAY AS THE DAY YOU ALMOST CAUGHT AXIS, THE GREAT SPINVENTOR!!!"

Once he was done gloating he rushed below deck calling out behind him.

"SOMEONE STEER THE DAMN THING!!!"

Nothing happened. Everything was silent aboard the ship as the yelling from the docks could be heard when a gunshot cracks through the silence.

No.. not a gunshot. A crack, like something being operated for the first time. And then it became audible a soft whirring soon to grow into a rather large hum as Axis started the spin engine in the belly of the ship.

Slowly at first the ship began to move, the propeller under the ship pushing it along.

"Let's get out of here."

Axis ramps up his power to his utmost, hitting 20,000rpm as the ship picks up speed and takes off out of the bay and away from the island; slowing down to a more comfortable speed when they were away from the immediate danger of the angry shipwrights.

Frost was at the bowsprit when Axis pulled his stunt and his crew the (Ashen Pirates) came running off of their previous vessel. They started knocking the engineers and shipwrights out as they were cranking ballista-like weapons that seemed designed to hook and drag ships back to port, securing our get-away as we sped up rapidly.

Frost's foot had to step back from the pull of the motion, but he didn't fall, and a smirk came over his face. He had left a small pouch of 3 thick gold coins on the bench where the ship was manufactured, though not enough to pay for it in full, it was at least enough to pay for the bloodsteel. The wood and labour would go unpaid, but how Frost saw it was that the shipwrights lost a challenge of knowledge and intellect, not deserving payment as they weren't wise enough. This was the Snoughkrest way, and so too was it the way of his people.

"He left. This is boring ... " Yume said.

The blanket of snow, though slightly cold for regular humans, remained as a source of comfort. The soothing flow of snow could heal almost any regular injury in a matter of minutes.

"This island isn't fun anymore. Let's go on another adventure!" she exclaimed. The blanket of snow continued to drift in the atmosphere, eventually leaving the island. Though they weren't doing much, Yume was in quite the good mood. A lot had happened today, and she would hope for it to continue tomorrow, when the sunrise comes again.

"Mirror ... "

She began to sing.

"Tell me something ... "

"Tell me who's the loneliest of one ... "

Her voice faded into Mio's head. Not only was she capable of seducing others with her alluring voice, but she was also capable of singing them to sleep. Mio's eyes lids gradually felt heavier and heavier until they shut closed.

On that day, a white star could be seen drifting in the supreme darkness of nightfall. A white star that leaked snow wherever it went.
