"Pweh! Fuckin sand!!" A cloaked figure cursed and spat as he made his way across an expansive desert island. A sandstorm was raging, and the man had his sights set on a Lighthouse in the distance. He seemed relatively average in build, and clearly fatigued from the journey across the grey sands. "Bracegirdle is going to beg for a keelhauling once i get back there.." Struggling with against the storm for a while longer, the man finally threw himself against the door of the lighthouse, rolling over on the floor on the inside. Taking a few seconds to catch his breath, he crawled over and shut the door behind him to keep the storm out. Finding a lantern nearby, he lights it using a flint and soon spots more lanterns around the room. When they were all lit, he had a better grasp of his new temporary home. All around, books and charts were stacked in shelves along the walls leading all the way up to the very top of the lighthouse it seemed. A column with a spiraling staircase stood in the center of the room, pointing the way to the top. The floor was littered with crates, hay, spare parts for muskets and various other parts. Appearently this place had been used as a storage-site for the Marines and gotten cleaned out and abandoned some time ago. However as he drew close to the staircase, a mechanism triggered which lowered the steps, turning the staircase into a slide. Taking a step back, the steps returned to their original spot. "So.. not getting up this way i guess.." Looking around a bit, he cocked a cheeky grin and took off his cloak, letting it fall to the floor. He was a young man, dressed in an officers uniform with the Roze Pirates flag tattooed over the right side of his neck. He stepped up to the shelves, and took hold with both hands, preparing for a looooong climb to the top. "Tom Mason, coming home lads~" |

| It took poor Tom a full hour to scale the Lighthouse, but as he reached the top with an adventorous grin on his face he didnt seem spent at all. He flipped onto the topfloor with great energy, and eyed the goal of his week-long struggle. The heart of the lighthouse. A brilliant flame was burning inside, leading nearby ships safely to the shores. But today, Tom said to himself, it will receive another purpose in life. It will become the herald of the next age, the seed that sows tomorrow, the spark that lights everything. Using a diamond-bladed glasscutter, Tom made his way into the firechamber, making sure not to destroy the glassplate behind him. He reached into his pocket and produced a leather satchel, and upon opening it, a brllliant red powder that seemed to glint almost like tiny tiny diamonds. It was fine enough to almost get blown out of his hands becouse of the wind up there, but tom closed his fist around most of the powder and with fire in his eyes he flinged it into the flames. "The new age has begun!!" Tom is blown onto his back by the following reaction. The powder seemed to melt, diffuse, dissolve and then finally merge with the very flames itself (instead of the tinder the fire is burning of).
