Picking up where we left off, Rei, in the form of the ancient goddess of Tari, threatens Neptune with annihilating her people. But Nep realizes that Planeptune's Shares are dwindling to the point that she no longer has the strength to fight. She is captured and forced to watch her people's extermination, but Noire and Vert majestically arrive on the scene to save her.

Noire already knows the Shares device — it’s the same one Eden’s nation had used. So they must destroy it. However, Rei consumes a massive amount of Shares from Lastation and Leanbox, paralyzing Noire and Vert. The formidable Rei fires a laser at the people of Planeptune, but Rom and Ram suddenly appears, creating a wall of ice to blocking the beam. Blanc also comes, stealing the scene from the girls. The formation is finally complete. Together, they direct their strength to Nep, allowing her to deliver the decisive blow to the Action machine. It's the culmination of the direction. Rei gathered enough energy to destroy half the world, simply for her own amusement. Nep and all goddesses won't it — they form a circle, hand a hand. With their combined strength alone, they contain the entire explosion within the goddesses’ beam in a breathtaking scene.

After the explosion, every goddesses returns to their human form, but to everyone's surprise, Rei is still alive and prepares to use the device again, until Arfoire suddenly emerges from the shadows to stop her. Perhaps in a world without Plutia, Arfoire truly has a chance to become the great Goddess, rather than Rei. In any case, the battle finally ends when Arfoire destroys the device. Nep thanked her. Months later, Planeptower is inaugurated, and Blanc apologizes for fighting Nep, but Nep comforts her and later announces to the world that the Peace Treaty will be vetoed. This honestly surprised me. By then, Nep had already forged true friendships with the other goddesses, so revoking the treaty felt natural—even though it likely means numerous wars will break out again, lol.

And the show comes to and end. Extremely memorable. I won't forget it any time soon. The anime may be over, but the adventures continue in the games. Enjoy them as much as you can!

Dubious and honest analysis from neonerd.
