First of all I know this came pretty late but I am busy in other things and stuff is going in the family. It is however, my pleasure to explain to you somethings that many other forums are confused about regarding this episode. My style will change from being emotional to analytical on this series and several others from now on. ON TO THE REVIEW.

It starts out that Rina like in episode 2, call Touya at home since he gave her his number and they talk. They talk about the events of the the Echoes cafe and about the Goddess notion. My point of analyzing of this whole conversation is that Rina is testing Touya to see how solid he is with Yuki. Despite that Rina does indeed also want at the same time happiness for Yuki and Touya. So one way she is rooting for their happiness and at the same time trying to take it away. The confusing part that will be cleared up is whether Rina is doing things to make life happier for Yuki x Touya or wants to have Touya to herself and ruin Yuki through betrayal. Even if this happens I do think that Touya would not betray Yuki. Childhood and high school memories far surpass the showbiz greed unless that greed is within Yuki such will not happen.

Now, during the phone conversation Yuki was trying to reach Touya but somehow in between she might have called Rina and since her phone was busy and Touya's she might have figured out something. Perhaps that is why when he lied (I CAN'T BELIEVE that SOB lied to Yuki about being on the phone with Akira!) Yuki did not budge but just accepted his excuse. Man, is Yuki gullible! I would not be surprised if you can trick her easily. Haruka coming at the same time during the phone conversation was a coincidence but then again she is a stalker so being around Touya's place, being as he is her target for stalking, it was just natural of Haruka's sweet personality to be gentle enough to remind Touya of the registration papers.

What made me :omgnooo: is that Touya looks to me like another of those SOB that rely too much on friends (girls of gender) just so that he and Yuki can have a good time. Another thing that bothered me is that we learn of Yuki being a actual barter (someone who replaces actors) and not a actual Idol yet. Eiji from the looks of it will make her somehow get there perhaps to what Rina is now. Another :omgnooo: would be that Rina proposed Touya to be at first a helper to her manager as a part time job. That alone raises THE RED FLAG because Rina and Touya would be spending way more time than Touya is to with Yuki. Perhaps Rina may be doing this at the same time for Yuki so Touya can be closer to her work field and even get closer to her but I can't help thinking she wants something from this.

Ok so going on, Yuki has informed Touya that she has the whole Saturday off and Touya just used Haruka to get freed up from anything this Saturday.I also think it was pretty stupid of Touya to suddenly have himself removed from the list of Tutors when this whole new job is not even a sure thing. LESSON #1 never quit any previous jobs until you are sure 100% that the new job you have may be stable to be kept for a long period (I would start with 6 months at least). So next thing happens Touya is within the building ready to assume his new role (MAN, he has too much pride in him) I do admit that he LOOKS GOOD with the suit strolling down towards his destination and out of nowhere we see Rina's real manager running in fear and from then shows up Eiji. He reveals finally he is indeed the president of his production company and one who sponsors and manages Rina's music. Naturally, since she is Eiji's sister but what bothers me yet again during this scene is that Eiji says to Touya that now that the person who he is to help is gone he has to become that person.

THAT IS STUPID! You need schooling to know about the job of the manager. It's not something you take and learn like a McDonald restaurant job. You need good knowledge of different fields of the showbiz. That may be why Touya though inside his head please fire me :omgnooo:OMG NO! It would be bad for Touya! Touya being smart at least, he could make use of what they call being a eager leaner and this means learning fast the ropes of this job. Rina face told me she was very happy that Touya came and accepted her offer. Another thing I noticed is Eiji face of being satisfied of being able to fire anyone he wants even Touya, to me it meant "You are a insect and nothing more, I can fire you anytime even if Rina likes you." Going back to progress of episode Touya enters the room where Rina and (SURPRISE, SURPRISE) Yuuki are. Touya's reaction and thinking it is only a three day thing, makes me think that he thinking of enjoying more being with Yuki then doing his job. There is also the intense moment that happened suddenly between Touya and Yuki. This shows only they are indeed deep in love.

It goes on to the stage part where Rina performs her song. I LOVE THE SONG! It was a great song sung by Rina indeed! :digicharat01: Liked and it meaning. To analyze a few things. The way they were talking about Yuki makes me think that she is too nervous and the cause might be her relation with Touya. If Yuuki's manager Shinozuka and Eiji think like that then it would be no surprise to have Touya removed from Yuuki in order for her to perform better with less stress or factor causing her this uneasiness. Also we learn of the president responsible for those girls who caused problems for Yuuki in episode 1. Her name is Kanzaki and her troop is called Sakurako. Eiji jokes about them as being clockwork dolls since Kanzaki insulted Rina's performance. The bullying is also a BS lie from those girls. RINA'S DRESS WAS CUTE AND MOE! The red roses on the black colored dress was very nice and cute too. Good meaning in the way that Rina being a virgin (red roses) but with much darkness lurking around her (the dark color of her dress). Interesting the way I see this.

Rina's slap on Touya was sooooooo sudden :omgnooo: but I knew why it was like that! It is because when Touya waved at Rina it was at her! Rina noticed this and knew it was towards Yuki because of the way she was smiling towards him. She slaps in front everyone (best way to cause a commotion and BTW, liked Eiji's way of saying "And the director goes *bang*". The real reason behind this, after calling Touya and Yuki to meet her in private to talk, is Rina wanted to make time for Yuki x Touya. This is obvious as they (staff who makes this anime) skim through to Touya and Yuki being on on the rooftop hugging each other as well as being romantic. BTW I am :inlove2::inlove2::inlove2::lovelove::lovelove::lovelove::lovelove::lovelove::lovelove::inlove2::inlove2:
this much after seeing that scene many times. I think it is a great scene that shows HOW MUCH ECCHI IS CRAP! Seriously that was just pure and not ecchi! WISH MORE LIKE THIS WOULD BE IN ANIME! Sorry for shouts but analyze as desperate cries of mines to think more of scenes like that instead of just pleasing the male clientèle of this anime industry.

Analyzing further, Touya reminding himself of Rina's slap makes me think to him it memorable since it's the first time Rina touches his face even if it was a slap. This also tells me that he may have some fantasies about Rina even if he has Yuki.Perverted FREAK! I know it does not show but I would not fantasize about such when I would have a girl such as Yuki.Touya saying to Yuki that she is strong as well as hearing her say that she loves Rina (most people have wrong impressions here, I mean Yuki's like is appreciation and I do not think it is actual love as in lesbianism) makes me think that she looks way too much to Rina even if she helps her a lot. Yuki should rely more on Touya somehow.

TIME TO SPILL SOME SECRETS! This most assumptions but lets see how it plays out later on. I think that, when Yuki thinks of that forest scenery instead of the one Touya remembers them meeting being the school, it has to do that something happened during that time the worst is that Yuki got raped by that boy or forced into something through him. Worst case that is but it may mean also that Yuki saw Touya before the school meeting and he does not remember her at all during that time, however analyzing the shadow it does not seem to correspond to Touya's image. So in the end the wondering of why this scene is important within Yuki's mind is confusing but will be cleared I am sure. More things revealed are: a secret Yuki has? I wonder what it might be? (I am thinking it might be really bad like some secret relation going on but that is yet to be revealed) The implications might be complicated of this secret but it seems it will be revealed once Touya goes on the date with Yuki since she mentions that she will tell him half of it when they go out on the date.

Another thing is, at the moment that Yuki and Touya were deciding where to go on their date, there was a shadow spying them. Based on what is revealed of this shadow, it is easy to know right away that it was none other than Shinozuka, Yuki's manager who was spying on them. The problem is that Shinozuka knows now that Yuki and Touya relationship is serious as well as it might be leverage for Yuki to perform better as a pressure device. This is due to Shinozuka spying on them, why would she unless it was to get key info for her to motivate Yuki. This might play out dirty by Shinozuka. There is also why Eiji did not like her to take care of it because of might not like the way. Notice that he answered in a way that he wanted to handle all regarding Yuki's lessons to sing better with her voice and seemed not favor Shinozuka taking care of this. This might be perhaps due to her ways but it can also relate to Shinozuka being late with one of his appointments.

NOW, many people might be wondering about why Touya reminded himself of that slap from Rina. Most likely it might have been the first slap he was given and thus this might be memorable for him it might also mean she made a impact on him but where this impact will lead is to be seen. When it switches to Shinozuka looking at Yuki calling Touya to tell him Eiji has time only on Saturday and that she is no longer free, I can see the face that Shinozuka makes having a meaning of doing it on purpose. This leads to believe that she want Touya and Yuki not dating anymore but wants Yuki to concentrate on her job. After the phone call Touya got another one saying he got FIRED! DAMN YOU ALL! He canceled so many things in hopes of this job but now he is crushed since he has nothing else assigned to him as a job and this means no money to support. BTW we learn that Rina's manager name was Hiiragi. I also find the company who fired are LAME, LAME, LAME SOB company just cause the mention that they did this because Eiji told them and they want to do continue being a good agency in hopes to be in accord with him so that he uses them for hiring managers for the stars of his production company.

So what happens? Touya goes to his father to get help because he has no money only to get food from him. The father really hates him and I assume at this stage it has something to do why the mother passed away. Must be blaming Touya for this misery. Touya also goes back to the office where he wanted to get a tutor job. The name of the girl is Yamamoto and Touya seem really happy it was still opened. What is literally :icey: is that the person asking is Mizuki Mana and she is high school senior. My guess is that when Touya went to her house to tutor her right away and she said to go away with a paper plane meant that she saw him come but somehow did not feel like meeting him. I am guessing two things here: a)She suffered something that made her hikkikomori (secluded from society) or b) she is sick/cannot manage her school so she needs a boost. I am thinking more that she has to do with the same field as Yuki works in and will prove another challenge to Touya with his relationship to Yuki.

Another interesting thing is that when Touya spaced out Haruka had time to pass around to give him a canned coffee drink , which would mean he was completely out of it to even notice. Touya then going to Echoes and Akira along with his uncles expression was so :071: funny that it cracked me up. What followed has the third analyzing so to speak, is the most confusing for all but I will enlighten YOU ALL! It starts as Rina comes in looking for Eiji. Now based on Frank's response, Eiji was indeed there. Then the next thing is Eiji comes out and Rina complaining to him about doing something selfish as firing Touya from the job even if he did nothing. This leads on that either Shinozuka made Eiji decide to fire him due to his involvement with Yuki or that Eiji did this to steer up Rina a little but in oder for what? That would be a) For Rina to start going out with Touya since she might have told Eiji about her intentions or Eiji already sees her liking him. b) To instill something in Yuki but that has yet to see its fruits if it does work Yuki should be better in her job or just fail altogether and Rina will be happy with Touya but like I said earlier Touya will most likely not abandon Yuki.

What is left? Touya start to think Rina's fortunes are just bad luck and too mysterious yet. Touya's discovery of that by trying to figure out what is going on leads him to a janitor's closet. My opinion of this is that back in the 1985's the economy was realllllllly bad! So in order to compensate for that some production companies saved money. How they do that? Simple really, by bypassing all governmental regulations of recordings on establishments, a private studio created in a cafe such as Echoes would in the long run save a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for Eiji, especially since he gets along with Nagase-san and most likely pays him a contribution. Mainly the reason why, even though not many customers come, Echoes is still in business because of this money going to it to support its own costs. Logically it would seem so, especially since Eiji went to Nagase-san to pick a tape he did. Most likely the same one Yuki listened in episode 2 when she went to Eiji's house. Thus it would mean he had Nagase listen to it or remix it so that it sounds right from any imperfections.

SCREENSHOTS

So Touya got a job proposition from Rina....BTW I loved this split screen that is shown.

I got pissed at this scene! Why would he lie like that? He assumed at the very least too much at this time.

Second lie! It was Haruka who was there and not the newspaper vendor.

Scene where he tells Haruka to do what he has to on Saturday! LAME guy using a girl just so he can go out with his girlfriend!

Meet Hiiragi, Rina's manager, who now is fired officially.

This is the part where I wonder why he did not take the challenge but instead wished to be fired by Eiji just because he now has to be a manager to Rina instead of just a helper.

First screw up of the day! Being too serious with your loved one on your first day at the job! I did like the seriousness in this scene. Sure further proves the couple is emotionally serious at the very least.

LOVED THIS SCENE! LOVED RINA'S DRESS!

Meet Kanzaki, the president of those girls that caused trouble to Yuki in the first episode.

The following two scenes prove of how Eiji reacted to Shinozuka taking charge of this whole affair that I explained earlier on. Just proves Eiji does not have great expectations from her or that he does not like her plans. In any case his facial expressions do not hide anything from me.

One of my favorites with Eiji with the way he says things and his expression.

Wow, was the slap insulting and hurtful to Touya with so many people! Touya should have not starred at Yuki when at the job. Good thing this more of a act with some serious thinking. It is also one thing Yuki likes about Rina. Such seriousness when it is not yet it fooled many.

Liked Rina's further act of making thinks worst in terms of what she pulled earlier on as a act.

Most favorite scene so far! SO LOVELY TOUYA AND YUKI WHEN HUGGING! Pure romances should replace all ecchi and hentai of anime. FAT CHANCE IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! Still have hopes.

Scene Yuki remembers as first meeting when Touya reminds her of how they met the first time.

VS

Scene Touya remembers when he met Yuki first at the school he was going. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ALL! :D With my explanation there should much clearance. PM ME PLEASE if further inquiry about this you have.

PROOF that it was Shinozuka spying on them. Look at her clothing from this point and look at her clothing during this episode or prior. Resemblances?

At first I felt this secret might be something DARK AND EVIL! Perhaps but it may be that it is not at all. WHAT IS THE BLOODY SECRET?

Meet Yamamoto and MAN was this a funny scene with Touya!

Very nice rendering of Touya thinking of when Rina slapped him. I found out that he is thinking like that because he know Rina might be jealous of his relation with Yuki! I am sure he has some intuition of feelings that it is how Rina is towards all this. She want them to be happy yet herself wants that happiness and now looks like she is jealous of it but hides such facts.

Mysterious appearance of Eiji here with Rina. Liked his pointing at Touya.

IN THE END.....things are just more mysterious than they seem.

BTW, Rina's song that she sings in this episode is about love mostly with hints of friendships.
