| Good episode, though I think we all know that there's no way Japan would give up 7 runs to Venezuela after only two or three innings. Anyway, I wonder, why would the manager have a pitcher and a DH bat in the same lineup? That was the only part that confused me. Hopefully Goro can help get Toshi out of his funk. |

| Well, Toshi isn't a DH anymore, since he's the catcher now. So there's a gap to fill. I can't wait for Goro to pitch and show Silva what he's got. |

| Freaking Toshi overthinking shit again...he has done this at every level and that means time for Goro to snap him out. Also did anyone else cringe when they called it Rodgers Stadium? Also this episode needed some Vin Scully. |

| I was actually expecting to see Mayumura go out after the first pitcher and just completely wreck with that scary fast ball he has . . . Guess not. Although excited now to see if Goro will be able to do anything against these guys, if not I pray he atleast beans one of them in the elbow with a 100mph pitch, that would kind of correct their racism a bit, if nothing else put them out of the competition as well as most likely a year or two of the Majors. |

| That sure is a risky choice to send Goro. Mayumura seem like a more sure choice since he got a good control on his energy. My guess is that the coach count on Goro energy to push the team. Probably because he's also the one who have the best synergy with Toshiya. Shimizu is always late at Goro games xD Dat moment when ur boyfriend will be the national hero... |

| Yeah, I'm guessing Gorou was chosen more for his ridiculous pools of energy and enthusiasm. It's hard to say how he compares to Mayumura as a pitcher right now. It wouldn't surprise me if they bring Mayumura out as a closer later. I got a laugh out of Shimizu being taken to that game full of old men. She gets around pretty well for her English to be bad, though. They're really hyping this match up. I'm starting to get into it more than I have in quite awhile. |

| Great episode. I too was expecting to see Mayumura, but it's good to cut right to the chase and see Goro. Also, what is with this Japanese bashing of how they play polished baseball? If anything, at least here in the states, it's well praised and respected. |
| poor toshi, his confidence really get crushed, hope goro will cheer him up somehow. i really expected to mayumura to replace, but they putted goro, i guess it have a good reason, i hope he will show that silva his fork. |
| Japan being one of the best in baseball, its funny how they're portrayed here as the underdog. Also funny or should I say hilarious was to see Kaoru taken to the ballpark full of geezers. I kinda expected them to sent Mayumura, but still hyped for Goro. |
