I dare say this is even better than the first episode. The animation is very clean and the music is superb with an insert song by Kanon called Gloria which felt perfect for the scene its featured in. Add to it Umibouzu’s “Welcome home” and that becomes my favorite scene this episode. We’re really getting into the plot now that Glass Heart has become a lot more conscious of Kaori inside her, and decides to go searching for Ryo. She arrives in Shinjuku, and the two miss running into each other by mere minutes outside of the Cat’s Eye.

The song Gloria made everything seem so much sadder ;( I love this so much, the relationships between ryo and kaori is so deep in this series D'; I can feel ryo's pain T_T

Another strong episode! I'm all in for Glass Heart having "inherited" Kaori's feelings and memories, but it seems that it was more than that, it's like Kaori is actively inside of her, controlling her, and I don't know how to feel about this.

As long as she is trying to save her from a life of only killing then that's fine, but let's see. I like how she went from being a discreet killer to blowing up that mansion like Kaori would do, that's nice. I also liked that Umibozu's blindness was took seriously, and he retired. He being able to "see" Kaori in her as soon as she came in was a powerful moment, and I liked how he welcomed her back. But I also understand the girl's confusion, these memories and feelings aren't hers, so it's like she is losing herself.

But she is strong! I loved the little action this time, she is good with a gun, she is agile, and she can fight with her fists and kicks, that's great, I hope she won't be reduced to someone who needs to be saved by Ryou 95% of the time.

If this ends up being not episodic and repetitive like City Hunter was (seriously, City Hunter is the most repetitive anime I've ever seen, every episode is the same thing: protecting some woman), then I might end up liking this more than Shitty Hunter.
