legally? no
^
Not entirely true. You can buy a subscription or e-books from Marvel on Marvel.com. They also release comics for free sometimes.

I've found that the best bet is to download and go from there, never really found an online site for it minus the paying sites.

You should buy comics you like. Not doing so will make sure the comic will be cancelled.
I'm also quite glad there are no illegal "online reading" sites for comics that would just ruin the comic industry even more....

Yes, because Batman is going to be cancelled anytime soon.
On that note, a lot of comics are incredibly old and hard to get ahold of, not to mention beyond expensive.
If I didn't download then I would never be able to enjoy older comics.

Because Batman is the only comic in the world.

It's a comic I like, it's a comic I've downloaded, by your standards it's now sure to be cancelled.
Kudos for ignoring my valid point though. Good man.

@MeleV:if i could buy it i would buy it!
people, generally, dont read these comics on internet because they want to but they "have to".seriously do u think if i could buy them, instead of buying i would choise to search them for hours, get lots of viruses, tire my eyes and waste my internet limit? if a comic will be cancelled just because of it then it will be cancelled eventually.

(btw sorry if my english is bad)

A comment like " will make sure the comic will be cancelled" is a tad lacking, very broad and allowed me to bring in the batman point, sure lesser known ones would be more likely cancelled and a staple like batman probably never will be cancelled, unless it's one of the countless spinoff comics. As I said, older back issues that are hard to pick up are better to be acquired a certain way rather than pay out of the nose. And thanks, I know i'm all kawaii.

Buy comics, support the industry. That aside, you can download entire comics in .cbr .cbz formats (That you can view using CDisplay) through torrents.

I know this is extremely old and I doubt this is still needed for anyone in this chat but there is http://view-comic.com/ it's biggest free site there is

(other ones are either legal with very few or not so small but still only focuses on dc or marvel or both while not the idiots want to read good comics not just marvel and dc - im not saying they're bad but there's a lot of good ones that are not those)

the site is getting bigger pretty fast right now it seems

so far I searched:
the walking dead. it was there
preacher: it was there ( it is 1997 which means that this site goes for both older and new since walking dead is there and its ongoing)
bone: missing
swamp thing: the new version is there but old one not
batman arkham night: it's there

I was searching for like 5 hours in total and I can say that there's very few good free sites doubt there is android app too which I would like to get

other site : hellocomic.com just dc and marvel comics this is illegal too
