| Why do you watch anime? I know this might seem like an odd question, but do you have a reason besides *because I like it?* although that is a great reason. I like it because it inspires me, and the charaters are so damn cool. I wish my life was an anime..... |

| That's actually a really good question. Lol The reason I watch anime is because it just sends me to a whole different world where possibilities are endless. That sounds so fake, but it's true. I love anime because things that you can't do in reality, are possible in those shows (like flying!). ^^ Also, some shows really do inspire me and motivate me to get back into things that I dropped or can do better in. Like tennis...I stopped playing tennis when I started junior high school, but when I started watching Prince of Tennis 1 1/2 years ago, I started playing again because I just wanted to do it again. And when I did start playing, I couldn't even understand why I had quit tennis in the first place. Then there's music...I've been playing the piano for about 13 years and I just recently starting watching La Corda d'Oro. Well, watching that really inspired and motivated me to go above and beyond what I've been doing with the piano. Like I'm really starting to challenge myself and play pieces that I've always thought were too hard for me to learn. A lot of shows are just awesome because they show people that something that people might think is impossible to accomplish, really is possible to do if you just work at it. |

| Well I watch anime since I was 5 but I only watched pokemon. When I was on 3rd grade one of my friends was talking of anime to another boy. Suddenly he says "Naruto is the best anime!!" I go to were he is and ask him : ''What is Naruto and what is anime'' He starts laughing and dosen't answer my question. Then on that night on cartoonnetwork they were giving a Naruto Marathon. I was bored so I watched it. The first thing I saw was some snow and to guys one looked like a girl. So I took a wild guess and thougth the yellow-haired boy was naruto ...and my guess was correct. Then I saw a figth with scenes and graphics sooo awesome I continued watching. On 4th grade I heard him talking of other animes ...now those anime are my favorites ones. Another reason is that I am not as the other girls in my school. They don't like violent things nor watching ppl killing and fithing. They like happy things like That's so Raven and things like that........... I also love watching the cute and beutiful boys that appear on the animes.Like Sasuke Uchiha...I also took tennis classes but I quit. When I saw the Prince of tennis I wanted to play again. I am waiting for summer to come(1 month left) to take karate class. |

| Good question. I watch anime because it makes me happy. I love seeing the adventures they have and I can relate to some of the characters. Also, it helps me escape from real life. |

| Because nothing else can make such a big impressions on me. I never cried watching any movie, or tv series, but I already cried watching anime. I never laughed watching movie or tv series - not from funny scenes, but from beeing extremely awesome... well, i guess, it's really hard to explain... :p |
| I guess to avoid the obvious answers (Story, I like it, etc) I watch it because of the variety. There are animes that are scary, funny, sad, heart-warming, fun, insightful. There are TV shows, movies, games, books. |

| Ah, anime... I really feel that anime has improved all my senses of the real world by showing me how strong human bonds can be. Anime is a portal into another world where one can be who they want to be, and always feel like they could be a main character. Everyone is distinct with their own unique path in life, and there is essentially no wrong way to go. If you have troubles, your friends will help you no matter what, and this is what it should be like (but sadly isn't) in the real world. If I ever feel like I can't do anything or I dont mean anything to anyone else, when I watch one of my favorite animes it makes me realize that I am never truly alone. The friendships are so strong, the romances so pure, the comedy so hilarious... It truly makes me sad that the real world cannot be like an anime. Long live anime!!! |

| Because my real life is SOOO boring that I HAVE to watch anime. Unlike TV shows,Anime can make shed manly tears,inspire me and make me laugh....And Anime characters are so awesome...And the anime world is so much better than the real world.I wish my life was an anime.Well,anime is my life...ALL HAIL ANIME!!! |

| The reason I love anime is because it makes me feel relaxed. In the past year or 2 I have been going through the transition from high school to college and it has been really tough. I always make some time to watch anime because it helps me from worrying about what I am going to do tomorrow and keeps me chill. I have also come to love slice of life anime and it really makes me go into a chill mood...Which is also a bad thing when I'm supposed to be studying rather than watching anime >.< but at least I'm not stressed out right? XD *note to self* - Junior College is not like high school |

| I love putting myself in other peoples shoes, really try to understand them and what they are going through... Anime shares all different kinds of peoples lives / situations and can teach you alot about all the highs and lows in life, about who you are deep down as a person. I also love watching AMV's to motivate me to be a better person! :D |
