| I really like how elements from the past are coming back. The sooner you finish taking on the Dark Masters the sooner this ends, Mimi... I'm glad they found a purpose to continue on. ;^; "Toilet paper won't fix this." sounds like a line out of a comedy, I'm sorry Jou. Although it is pretty sad. I don't think Yamato has figured himself out just yet, but he's getting there. Leomon and Ogremon made me cry. Kismesis. |

| I like Leomon's Ultimate Form. Mimi is so dumb and irritating. She doesn't want any more fighting and deaths but she already caused the deaths of Chuumon and SaberLeomon. At least make her regretful for standing in the way and not having the will to fight then I would at least like her character. Yamato is so cool. I was glad Pinocchimon(?) is finally dead. I've had enough of him killing his "friends" mercilessly. MetalEtemon's death was caused by his own arrogance which was a fitting way to die. |
| I never get tired of hearing Angemon say "Hand of fate, hah!" FINALLY they got rid of the stupid "Hey digimon.." song. Puppetmon was defeated too easily, a bit annoying considering how strong they've made him look in the last few eps |

| Puppetmon was quite amazing. A villain with some character depth is much more than welcome in a series like this. I just checked sub version and Puppetmon sounds like a little girl. Simply awful. Thankfully his English dub nailed his personality. I really like the way he died. Matt and Gabumon were so pissed at him that they decided to stop playing child`s games and totaly wrecked poor Pinocchio. I really like how serious they looked. I also liked the fact that those two Digi-guards just loathed Puppetmon. |
| wew great episode lots of things happened here 1- glad Mimi finally regained her trust in Taichi and friends to keep on fighting. Might not be "nice" but it is what must be done in order to ensure the well being of the Digimon and their real world. 2- Yamato was probably watching everything and decided to give a little help to his friends. Best timing ever. Notice how the Bullet thing was broken for Puppetmon. When it broke, it was over sooner or later. I think that Koushiro or Taichi would have guessed that Puppetmon was behind the House-monster sooner or later, and so they would have killed Puppetmon eventually. The key was destroying his weapon. 3- Glad Leomon could evolve. And it is nice to give an idea as to why he could. It makes you wonder how many of those evolutions were pushed in a similar way (i.e. where the hell are the Dark masters from, and why are they ultimate, when wild type digimons are almost all baby to perfect form at best) The Mimi part makes this episode one of my favourites. Well, first of all she's nine. She's still a kid, and didn't even have a single day of rest in her two months "adventure". My best guess is that she understand that Dark Masters need to be defeated, but doesn't want to do it herself, because of the horrorific consequences of doing so (many friends of her will die if she fights). However, at the end, i think she understood. Is not an easy realization. In real life, many people , for political correctness, because it is ugly, or other absurd reasons, choose not to fight "evil" and "darkness". And so by not wanting to fight, they let "darkness" expand even more, destroying our great Nations. Think about it for a moment. Taichi , Sora and the others figured this out first. They are really special in that they are quite resistant, brave and resolved. You don't meet people like that everyday. |

| Mimi's whole thing is just nonsense. We, and they, already know digimon can get revived so the sadness of death is weaken. They'll be back eventually. Hell, even Leomon was like "ugh, I'll just get reborn. Stop screaming in my ear." So to have this whole "digimon are dying for us!" shtick is a waste of time and has her come off as selfish. Too spoiled and selfish to understand the responsibility of her own hesitance and weakness caused half the deaths so far. So instead of learning that and realizing she must grow stronger, the anime just has her bitching and moaning about the whole thing. As if THAT WASN'T THE VERY REASON Chuumon died. Annoying. Also Leomon's whole "the reason you went to File Island first" is 100% bullshit. We, and they, already know why. Because that's where the digieggs were dropped off after Piemon attacked. I highly doubt Gennai was thinking about it too hard unless they planned it That tidbit just added to the entire nonsense involving Mimi. Ugh. Didn't mind the rest. Dark Spirits Deluxe. SaberLeomon saved Mimi! Dat theme. Zudomon. Dat Hammerboomerang. Hold up. Leomon can warp-shinka (from Adult to Ultimate) yet the rest of the Edabareshi kodomo-tachi can't (from Child to Perfect). Thats funny. They didn't put Leomon in the credits for both episodes. |

| The Dark Masters arc is the arc I remembered the least out of the entire Adventure, and after rewatching the past few episodes, I'm starting to see why. This forced drama of "we'll split up so we can find ourselves and our the reason to fight" is good from the writer's perspective, but it's incredibly dumb from in-universe standpoint. You do know that those enemies that all 8 of you together couldn't beat are still trying to hunt you down right? Let's just split up and give them the chance to pick you off one by one huh? (And boy, it sure is convenient that Etemon came back right on time to interrupt Pinocchimon from killing Joe and Mimi.) Then there's powerscaling. Somehow they managed to beat Pinocchimon with relative ease this episode, when just a few episodes ago they were getting their butt handed to them. Etemon explained that he was sucked into a black hole and that he couldn't escape until he evolved to Mega. Logically, this would mean Mega Digimon > black hole, yet somehow Pinocchimon was afraid to be hit by cannon balls. Then there's Zudomon breaking MetalEtemon's armor because "they're both Chrome Digizoid", ok, let's just ignore the massive power gap between Ultimate and Mega then. What's next? Taichi wearing Chrome Digizoid gloves punching Piedmon to dead? Then there's Mimi. I thought the reasoning behind her drama was much more compelling than Yamato's. Too bad that it lead to one of my least favorite cliche in fiction "I won't fight because I don't want anybody to get hurt". We're halfway through the arc and so far it's been the most annoying arc to watch. |

| I thought Mimi had a interesting idea, rather than simply killing everyone in their path, they could try a more sensitive approach and try to understand their enemies and befriend them if possible, and sure it won't work on everyone but it is still a viable route to take as proven with Ogremon. This would've tied perfectly with Pinocchimon who just needed to learn kindness and understand the meaning of friendship, sadly Mimi wasn't around to help him with that and Pinocchimon died alone.... Toilet paper won’t fix this! |
