| "Ho. Ly. Crap." That was my reaction. Twice. This is just insane. And cruel. So how many trips did Daniel take to and from the freighter? Six people times that many trips. They must have killed off about 18 Oceanic passengers. Then there are those that were left on the raft with Daniel. Many have died in Season 4 alone. Sure, they're pretty much fodder for accidents, but that's just mean. I suppose Sawyer becomes their leader now? So it seems that three years have passed since they left the island. That's a long time to keep up a lie. I wonder what will compel all of them to return. And I think that includes Aaron. I wonder if Walt is included. And Desmond? I don't know if Frank (helicopter pilot) is important enough to be included in that "all." What happened after Jack and them left? Was there still conflict between the Others and the survivors? Will there be a battle on and off the island, since Ben is supposedly not allowed to stay on the island? What of Jacob? Where (when?) did the island go? |
| I have to admit, the cliffhanger was not really season-finale-like. I expected more of a BANG!, like a short sneak peak of the island's whereabouts that leaves all of us speechless. I don't think Desmond will want to come back, his story seems more or less finished but I'm sure Frank will return. Jack and Co need a pilot to return to the island after all... whereever and whenever it is right now. I'm rather sad though that all of my favorite characters, Ben, Desmond, Hurley and Frank probably won't play much of a role in the next season's island-plot. But somehow I have the feeling that in the season 5 finale, the O6 (including Walt, Ben and Frank please) will arrive at the island again, preparing for a grandiose final season 6. I have no idea how Lost will continue, but it will be EPIC. |
