| Yvonne's small heels made a poking sound as she climbed down the staircases to the old,dusty library. She was cursing under her breath,as she opened the double doors and slammed them in only ten seconds. "Let's see." she mumbles,and starts to move the tables to make space.Taking a piece of white piece of chalk,she starts to draw a circle on the brown wooden floor.As she finishes,she places an icon in the middle. "Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg. The alighted wind becomes a wall. | The circle glowed in a holy ethereal light, its luster and ivinity seemed to penetrate the darkest recesses of the room... from the center of the circle form rose from the ground. It was young man in his late teens or early 20s, he was clad in a leather hauberk and other such light armors. His cowl was down though, so you could see his youthful and innocent looking face. His hair was a pale golden blonde, his eyes were an ice cold azure, and his skin of a fair complexion... The figure still in bowing looked up at Yvonne and said "Under the rites of the Grail Wars and oath as an Epic Spirit, my Lance and service are yours... my princess" his eyes looked dead into hers, there was truly an innocent and kind look in them... |

| Yvonne grinned,and stood up."You look younger then I expected,Lancer." she says,analyzing Lancer head to toe."I am Yvonne Dietrich." she adds,and does a small bow."Damn the polite manners my social status force." she sighed,mentally. |

| "I could say the same to you... princess" said Lancer with small grin and wink, he stood and compared heights with the samll girl... she barely came only just past his waist! |

| Yvonne slapped Lancer's stomach."Don't be cheeky!" she said,and hmmphed,crossing her hands on her chest. |

| "Of ourse not... princess" said Lancer as he got down on one knee again and kissed her hand... He then asked "Is there anything you'll have your Lancer do?" |

| Yvonne slightly blushes at his gesture."Manners,what a stupid thing." she thinks."Well,for now,it seems to me the War is a little far and a little near from starting.Which means,we have nobody to take out.For now." she says,and grins at the last part."Anything in particular you would like to know about this world,Lancer?" she asks. |

| "Yes actually: you wouldn't mind telling me why we are in this closet, would you? I dare say, its a lot nicer outside or whereever there may be a window..." he was smiling with his ckeeky attitude... |

| "This is not a closet,idiot." Yvonne said,facepalming."It's my large and pretty library.You expected me to do a summon outside,where everyone could see?" she asks rising an eyebrow."But very well,you want nature?Nature you'll have!" she grins,grabbing Lancer by his arm with some strength you wouldn't expect,and she drags him outside of the library,then out,in the backyard."Welcome to my domain." she grins. |

| When they arrive outside and view the garden vista before them, he sighs and looks around silently and says "I enjoy library like any other scholar.. but after inhabiting what seems like an eternity in the plane you call the 'Throne of Heroes' which lies somewhere between purgatorio and paradiso... its nice to be able to experience TRUE nature and beauty" he keeps looking at the gardens... |

| "I am a fan of trees.Nothing compares with climbing one and reading a book under natural light,but good luck trying to climb down when you wear heels." Yvonne sighs,admiring her own gardens.She still couldn't get it how Marcus can take care of everything by himself. |

| Lancer sighed and stretched his arms out with a yawn and he asked "Are you alone in this castle of yours? Seems... desolate around here" |

| Yvonne's eyes turned sad at his question.She lets each of her hands hang on the sides of her body."Myeah.Kinda alone.Since my parents were murdered,it's just me and three servants." she murmurs,barely audible,as she keeps her head low,staring blankly at the ground. |

| Lancer already saw his Master as a child. Truly she was a magus, it was proof enough of her potential by her ability to summon him... but for the first time he saw her as truly vulnerable child. His respect and adoration of her increased... So he held out his hand to her and he said with a smile "C'mon, how about you introduce me to the rest of your staff" |

| Yvonne just nodded her head.She was too took over by emotions too speak,as she didn't want anybody to hear the pain she still felt.She just took Lancer's warm hand in her small and cold one,and started to walk to the house. |

| They arrived back at the house and started going from room to room, giving the grand tour of the place and meeting the servants... //do you think whatcha will let us time skip? this is gonna get... tedious// |

| //let's just do it.I'll start things one week later.// Yvonne woke up,and yawned.She looked at the window,but the sunlight entering made her close her eyes instantly.Turning around,she curls up deeper in the purple sheets.She throws a look at the clock on the wall."9 AM...how early...." she murmurs,in a sleepy voice. |

| "And a glorious day it is too! Perhaps we should go for a horse ride today princess?" asked Lancer, looking all to comforatble at her desk. He was dressed in a khaki polo shirt and black jeans... and he was reading a leatherbound book labeled 'Diary'... |

| "I'm too lazy Lan-" Yvonne started,still half asleep,but jumped straight away from the bed,aiming with a flying kick to Lancer's head.'WHY ARE YOU READING MY DIARY?!!" she yelled. |

| He rolled out of the chair before she landed and he grinned saying "Because you write the cutest things princess..." saying with the most doting and cutesy voice possible trying to suppress his laughter... |

| Yvonne grinned in a wicked way."Then it means you did not read an entry of about three years ago.It was not cute at all." she said,looking straight in his eyes."And Lancer,when I catch you,YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!Second time!" she yells,and starts to run towards Lancer. |

| He dashed out of the room and into the hall, still at the threshold he leaned back saying "As matter of fact... I did." |

| Yvonne froze."You are sooo dead." she said,and quickly jumped out of the room and then on Lancer's back."How dare you enter a girl's private stuff ?!" she yells,chocking him with a strong grip of her arms. |

| "Because... I... CAN" he coughed with her grabbing his throat and being swung around on his back. He staggered around the room with mock dizziness and fell sideways onto her bed, he loosened her grip but didn't hurt her... He then sat up and looking down at her pouty red-faced form and said "Upon my honor, I meant no offense... I already told you all about me this past week. Up to and including my murder, whereas I really know nothing about you" He then paused and looked awkward as he said "I... just wanted to learn more about you, but you wouldn't say anything" |

| "You could have asked me for permission,or ask me to tell you.On the points where is painful,I would have just given you the notes!" Yvonne hmmphed,still angry. |

| "I tried, but you just always brushed it off or never went into detail... so this was a last resort and a REALLY bad idea, I truly apologize princess..." said Lancer looking truly sorrowful as he slumped down to the floor leaning against the bed... |

| Yvonne sighed."It's alright,I guess." she murmurs,as she twists on the bed to sit on her tummy. |

| He looks up at her green eyes and still red face and says "I guess we aren't the best team out there yet, huh?" the smile was returning to his eyes... |

| "Yet." she nods,and pokes his nose lightly with her pointer."So,afterall,that you woke me up,what are we going to do today?" she asks,coming back to her old self. |

| "Well I said something about giving the horses some excercise... though I doubt theyd get much with your feather-weight" he said smiling honestly now. |
|
| "Yes,so they will have to be happy with your heavy-ness!" Yvonne said."Mariaaaaaaaa!" she called out for the maid. A short woman with brown hair,wearing a black maid uniform with a perfect white apron appears in the room,in few seconds."Yes,miss Yvonne?" she asks,smiling large. "Find me some comfortable clothes.I plan to ride Thunder today." Yvonne replies,smiling back at the woman. |

| "I'll be waiting outside..." said Lancer making a fast getaway so that the 'princess' could get changed... |

| After few minutes,Maria gets out of the room,followed by a blue riding suited Yvonne. |

| Lancer took one look at her and he had to cover his mouth as his face turned red and he tried really, really, REALLY hard not to laugh... |

| "Don't laugh,fat monkey,and move your ass at climbing down the stairs." Yvonne sighed,and slapped Lancer's stomach,causing Maria to giggle. |

| "Sorry, can't help it... you look so cuuute in your little riding booties!" said Lancer, indicating the black leather boots that went up mid-caf on her... |

| "Idiot..." Yvonne murmured,and clenched her fist,trying so hard to not to slap him again."Move,fat monkey." she adds,and hmmphs,taking the lead. |

| Lancer sighed and put his hands behind his head, and followed her out to the barn... They arrive at the barn... |

| "Come here,Thunder!" Yvonne gently calls,patting her black Arabian horse's snout. |

| Lancer closes the barn door and turns and says to her "I hope you realize... I didn't come out here just to go riding with you today princess" |

| "Then?" Yvonne asks,playing the fool,still petting Thunder. |

| He walked up to her and said "As as I enjoy sitting around drinking tea and reading... I'm still a Servant and I soley exist to fight for the Grail. I just need to know a few things that you haven't told me nor were written in the Diary..." |

| "Speak up." Yvonne sighed,and Thunder looked at her with curiosity. |
|
| "You know my powers, my name, and some of my Noble Phantasms... but I don't know or understand what you can do? If we were to get into fight with another Pair... may not be able to prtect you and fight at the same time. I need to know whether or not you can fight" said Lancer |

| "I have the ability to make males attracted to me.And also,I can create high hypnosis." Yvonne said. |
|
| "So... you can only do a few mind-tricks?" said Lancer sounding disappointed. |
|
| Yvonne got annoyed."My few mind tricks are deadly." she speaks cold,words seeming to be knives. |

| "By the way don't try and 'threaten' people with your cold voice... it just comes across as cute only" said Lancer, he sighed and said "Well, in any case just try and stay behind me... I got few tricks that'll keep you safe princess" he winked. |

| "Aren't you kind,but I need no knight in shinning armor,you idiot." Yvonne sighed,and jumped on Thunder's back. |
