| Later they arrive in a field in, Lancer just sits on his horse watching Yvonne ride with ease. He thought aloud "Wow... she's actually quite talented. She could've easily been quite the Knight..." But then his thoughts were interupted! A large Bounded Field was being created to surround the area... and a stranger had appeared and he had raised his right and he was right in the line of fire of Yvonne! Lancer to say the least almost panicked as he rode as fast as he could towards his Master... |

| Yvonne's eyes bulge as she notices the man.She takes a stand with calm,however,and manages to make Thunder run at his fastest;afterall,he was an Arabian champion,and that's quite a thing! "Who the hell is that?!" she yells to no one in particular. |

| The starnger raised his right hand holding a silvery object... he tossed it and whispered "Longinus" and when he caught it again. He was holding a large blackened lance! He started charging forward with it towards Yvonne attemping to skewer! But just then Lancer intervened! a large silver and steel lance with a golden and red tassel was thrown and the stranger sidestepped to avoid it as it landed! Lancer leaped off his horse as it was still running and he landed with a flip and roll about twenty yards from the man and making sure Yvonne was generally still behind him another ten yards... His Lance however was still near the stranger... Lancer would have to either fight barehanded or have to race to his weapon! Lancer said "Who are you? Declare yourself!" The stranger was silent... |

| Yvonne analyzed deeply the situation,from a tactical point of view."Cloak.That mask.Those powers." she said outloud,and smirked as it made sense."Lancer,we are facing Avenger,the protector of the Holy Grail." she said,jumping of her horse."Go bring Marco and Maria." she commands Thunder,who seemingly understood and started to run back to the mansion. "Say,Avenger..." she started,walking closer to Lancer,fearless,"to which fact do we owl this great displeasure?" she asked,in a mocking and cheeky tone,crossing her arms over her small chest. |

| The stranger half crouched and leaned forward leveling the tip of the spear towards the Master and the Lancer... Lancer pushed his Master back saying "Stay out of this Yvonne" he didn't call her 'princess'! Because in Lancer's eyes... the Grail Wars have finally begun, no more tea and relaxing. Until they won the Grail fun time was about over. The stranger ran forward! Lancer had no choice but to meet him halfway! To wait for him to come closer, would mean to endanger Yvonne... something he would NOT allow. He sidestepped the lance and gave an open hand push on the side of the man's face! The man staggered and Lancer attempted a flatout punch in his face... it failed. The stranger feinted and came up with a gut punch while palming a silver thingy saying "Iblis" and with that a blast of compressed fire blasted him away... he landed face first smoking in the dirt. The stranger turned towards Yvonne... |

| "Don't ever dare to tell me stay away!" Yvonne yelled,annoyed.It was madness that she stood near the front line,but it was how she did things;she will never hold back.She was many things,but not a coward.Thunder's sharp scream bursts the air,as the two servants show. "I never thought I'll get to see another war..." the old butler said,and chuckled. "Lend me your prana,old man." Yvonne grinned."As you once lend my father!" she said.Then,Avenger took position and faced Yvonne.Marco murmured a spell and grabbed Maria's hand;their energy,trough Marco's ability,was being send to Yvonne. Yvonne concentrates to lend the biggest part of her now large energy to Lancer;"Break this fool in half,Lancer!" she demands. |

| Lancer stood, or rather felt lifted like puppet being pulled on strings... he grinned. He pulled his lance out of the ground and said "You like fire stranger? I got something for you to play with..." he leveled his Lance towards the man and the stranger lookd at him to, he held his loosely in his left hand and held his right hand up beckoning him almost saying 'Come at me bro'. Lancer narrowed his eyes and said "May God forgive me... By the Fires of Deigon!" and his Lance's tassel erupte him flames and tendrils encircled and rotated around it like streamers... And he launched himself forward with a warcry... literally! His lance served the same purpose as rocket sending him flying towards the stranger. While stranger just stood there and took the blow... the two of them were engulfed in an enormous ball of flame... |

| Marco and Maria watched both silently and in awe. Yvonne was also pleased with Lancer's abilities;she did a wise choice picking him out of all. As the ball of flame engulfed the two,Yvonne worried,for a second;but she felt that Lancer was okay,so she just stood there,being a prana catalyst for her warrior. Memories of 'good' times took over Marco for a second,and Maria silently move her eyes from her father to her Lady... |

| The flames dissipated... but the result was lack luster. Lancer stood there breathing heavily with his Lance thrusted forward, but the stranger was unmoved and he held the tip of the with the grip of his right hand and he was fatigued or burnt at all! The stranger said "Disappointing... you should of joined and abbey or became a priest insetad being knight worm" and he pushed the tip of the lance away, Lancer stood there staggered slightly as the stranger called over his shoulder and said "And you little girl... go back to playing with your dolls" He sighed and he began to fade away along with the Bounded Field. and he was gone and they were alone... |

| Yvonne was shocked.Marco and Maria broke the spell. After few good minutes of silence,Yvonne lets out a roar,and gazes with rage at the place where Avenger stood."I swear on my parents' grave," she spoke,"I'll make you take your words back,Avenger!" she yells,as she knew the Servant could still hear. Marco gazes at his Lady with some kind of fear,respect and joy."She is just like her father." he thought and smiled. |

| Lancer dropped to hone knee and the butt of his Lance seemed like his only support... never did he expect for that thing, that Avenger to be that powerful... He said "Milady... are alright?" |

| Yvonne turns back to her normal face,but her worry could be seen in her eyes. "Fool!" she yells at Lancer. "You worry about me when you barely breathe yourself?!" she sighs and approaches Lancer.She kneels in front of him,and lays gently her hands on his shoulders;"Heal." she speaks,and again lends him her force so he would regenerate. "Need our support further,Prinzessin?" Marco asks,seeing her gesture. "No need,this is something I can do on my own.You may retreat." Yvonne speaks in a low tone,having a serious face,unusual to her. |

| Lancer smiled and said "No worries princess... I'm fine, in fact I've had way worse" he stood now and starting walking towards the masnion with the horses following... He then said "But you know this means right?" Lancer placed one hand on her shoulder saying "We can't stay in the mansion any longer... this past week was more fun than I possibly ever had as Knight, but its time for war" he narrowed his eyes "We need to go to Fuyuki City" |

| "I'm glad you are fine." Yvonne sighed relieved,and started to walk by his side.She nodded her head,"I know.It's time for us to finally have some action,and to make our way to the Grail." she speaks,smirking. Marco looks at her and chuckles."Prinzessin,then shall I prepare a plane for tomorrow?" he asks. Yvonne nods her head."Yes.You,Mary and Melinda will accompany.Also,find me a nice residence in Fuyuki.I'm sure Papa had some domains there..." she says,thoughtfully. |

| Lancer tuned out these preparation plans, his ind was still on Avenger and his Lance... Longinus? Lancer knows he heard that name before... he just needed to remember were... |

| They reached the mansion.Marco went to the barn to place the horses,while Maria went to help Medea prepare dinner.They were mages,yes,but they still had common duties. Yvonne let herself fall on armchair in the living room.She started to breath deep,and she was feeling a little numb.With all the earlier effort,even if it wasn't atleast half of what she could have done,she was still being exhausted as hell. |

| Meanwhile Lancer hit the Library... he kne he heard the name Longinus somewhere. It was going to be a LONG night... and they were leaving in the morning. |

| Yvonne was starting to gasp for air;slowly,she was hyperventilating.Resting her hand on her chest,she tries to calm her heart beats;eventually,she starts to breath normally after few minutes of agony.Getting up from her seat,she moves to the mini-bar and picks a bottle of fine wine and a glass. Maria enters the room,and notices Yvonne's very,very pale face."Umm...Are you okay,my lady?" she asks,approaching Yvonne,who just nods her head and sips from the glass in front of her."Yes.Please,make sure to pack everything necessary,from clothes to the unique exemplar books in the lab." she orders,and Maria bows,then aims for the exit."And Maria?" she calls one more time,causing the woman to turn a little around,"Bring me something sweet." |

| Lancer keeps pouring book over book, he can't seem to find Longinus ANYWHERE! Then... it hits him! He checks one last book, and he finds it! He knows who Longinus is... but the man wielding his Lance as DEFINITELY not him... |

| "You realize Avenger is in fact an amalgam of other Heroes,don't you,Lancer?" Yvonne asks,and gets out of the shadows.She watched him going trough many books for the past two hours or so... |

| "He very well could be princess... he's using the Lance of Longinus aka the Spear of Destiny, the lance which a centurion by the name of Casca Longinus used to stabbed Jesus while he hung on the cross and since then been considered a sacred relic" said Lancer He then opened up another book saying "And while I was attacking with my Lance he whispered 'Iblis' to nullify any damage to him... Iblis being an evil Djinn/Demon and a being orn of 'smokeless fire'. He didn't just nullify the fire damage, BECAME fire itself!" He turned around and said "I have no idea who or what we're dealing with here... but what I do know is that its your bed time, and we're leaving in the morning" he now had his big brother act going on now... |

| Lancer promptly picked her up and carried her over his shoulder despite her protests, carrier her down the hall and ropped her on her bed and he walked out smiling and saying "Goodnight Princess...". He closed the door behind him and slumped to the floor... he felt overwhelmed. When he was first summoned he felt like he was on top of the world, and capable winning the Grail with ease and record time. But this new threat shook him to the core... |

She was in a similar condition to Lancer;when she summoned him the first time,she thought it will be easy to win.However,a powerful enemy will not shatter her will.When she picked him,out of all heroes,she thought she did a wise choice.And she still does. //timeskip to morning?// |

| Yvonne opens her door.Unlike usually,she wears normal clothes,composed by a long-sleeved green blouse and black jeans,having a pair of green shoes with small heels.Her long hair was tied in a high braided ponytail."Like always,I am." |

| Lancer rolls his eyes and mouths "Riiiiiight" and he follows her to the car... he and the Butler just finished loading the last of the luggage and the Butler was going to drive them to the airport... //the staff is staying behind right?// |

| //no.Marco and Maria are tagging along.// Yvonne enters the back of the car,along with Lancer.Maria takes her seat on Marco's right side.The butler starts the engine,and soon they take off. Yvonne looks with sadness out the window,to the places so dear to her."Papa...Mama...I'm going to win and fulfill what you two couldn't,but died trying." she thinks,and closes her eyes,struggling to hold her tears and pride.An image,of her parents' graves,placed in the forest on their domain,which she visited just this morning for hopefully not the last time,pops in her mind. //we exit?// |
