| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was really something much better then i expected. Original Futakoi can't be compared to this one :) This is the way to make romance/etc.. anime !! No lady-like male character, No ecchi fan-service (if they were naked it seemed like in real life and not for stimulating teenagers) Well those sea-food monsters were more funny than dangerous but they were made only to create background or chance for expressing relationship/love between those 3 fortunate lovers in unfortunate situations haha (and for widening range of buyers too ofc) Great mix of realism x shounen ( like when he felt of bike he really got injured x squid fighting scenes were usual shounen stuff ) If theres 2nd s./OVA/movie im looking forward to it :) 8,5/10 its between great-excellent If it became pure seinen i would give it like 9-10/10 :) |
( Currently interested in OP MC genre. Recommendations are welcomed, preferable those yet not on my list ) |

Futakoi Alternative has to be one of the BEST if not the BEST anime I've ever seen. The male protagonist is my favorite out of all anime because he is like 90% like me. If he knew his mom and his parents were together and still alive we would be almost the same person. This anime really touched my heart in a good way. It had its sad times, happy times, and it ended in happiness. There is not much more I can ask for. GREAT ANIME! I LOVED IT! I WANT MORE ANIME LIKE THIS! ^^ 1000/10!!!!! 1000/10, can't agree more. |

| Wasn't impressive. 5/10 just as weak as season 1. Some tense moments here and there along with the the comedy gags but it tries way too hard. |

| I quite disliked this compared to the original Futakoi... this was just a clusterfuck of random shit thrown together to make something of a story if you can even call it that... oh well good it's over now. |

| This was a good show. Initially I thought it would be boringly comical but after the first few episode it became somewhat deep and meaningful. 7/10 |
