| 90% of chances an anime will get another season depends on sales, or they've already planned beforehand. And Nobuna isn't one of them. Its sales don't guarantee to be high enough for a 2nd season. Most of us watch through free fansub, streaming and stuff, do they care if we want another season for shows we like? Nope. wakka9ca said: They showed the Takeda clan at the end though.... | Enough story, but we have to wait for the sales. It's underrated and I think people see Oda Nobuna no Yabou as another generic anime (or story) about Sengoku era, so the sales may will be not really good. I do really hope for season 2 though. |
Waiting for next week anime gives me another reason to live. |

As for topic: I hope they do make a 2nd season as the series did entertain me, but I doubt it would be anytime soon if they do as there are plenty of other series out there that had better sales in their manga/novels than Oda and have yet to grace us with a 2nd season. Highschool of the Dead which is from the same studio is one of them. |

| and Phi brain ... I thought it was mind-fuck or some sort like that, but soon I dropped it at 1st episode ... Now they're planning to make a 3rd season for it. I'm not sure about Spice and Wolf sales but it received lots of positive responds and there are many materials left to cover if it had a sequel season. |
| I think the second season is highly probable. Also, Oda Nobuna isn't a harem. Despite what it looked like (the main being a perverted monkey, many girls showing interest in him), I think we all can agree on the fact that it was obvious that the feelings would be developed only around Nobuna and Yoshiharu. Of course, there were subtleties, but no harem leads. I don't watch harems (it's the genre I dislike the most), but from what I've seen, a harem generally has a male lead who doesn't know which girl choose, as in showing interest in all of them. Yoshiharu, never showed interest in any other than Nobuna. That may be just me though, a pairing fanboy... |

| I think people need a Harem lesson #101 as it doesn't seem to sink in with my last post: 1 MC(guy/gir)l + 2 guys/girls = Love Triangle 1 MC(guy/girl) + 3 or more guys/girls surrounding MC = Harem/Reverse Harem Harem, derived from the Turkish word of similar nature, is a sub-genre in anime in which there is your main character, surrounded with 3 or more of the opposite sex throughout the series. Prime examples are Rosario+Vampire, Zero no Tsukaima and Oda Nobuna. Most cases, the surrounding/supporting cast are amorously infatuated with the MC but it doesn't mean all series with a harem cast has to fall in that category. As long as a parameter is set for the MC to raise a flag with any of the cast, you can pretty much call that your stock harem. Good examples are Love Hine and Shuffle. As for Sword Art Online, |

Pretty much of these guys here said are true, 2 girls share a love interest with a guy = triangle love, 3 and above = harem whether a guy sets his eyes on only 1 girl. Clannad is a harem anime ( not clannad AS), SAO has harem as a sub-genre ( later on you will find kirito standing in between a bunch of girls who likes him), etc. Many people misunderstand the definition of harem: Indecisive main character, end up with many girls called harem ending (normally the case) --> so everyone thinks this way: if a guy only likes 1 girl, even though there are many girls in the show like him. --> harem, true, put only a part of it. Or mc can chose from his harem stock a girl he likes. |
