| Aki was standing outside of Fort Briggs watching the boarderlines of Amestrian and Drachma. She was on guard duty today by orders of Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong. Major General Armstrong, Aki's commanding officer at Fort Briggs, no one disobey her orders ever. Aki was glad that she was born in North City and that she was used to the cold or these long hours standing outside watching the boarderlines would be rough on her. She was also glad that her claw gaulents were made using the special metal that would be needed at Fort Briggs. |

| Aki was called over to the other side of the Fort outside. The other soldiers told her about the person. She took their binotices and looked at the person in the distance. "Who would be coming all the way out here from the direction of Central?" She then looked at one of the soldiers. "Go tell Major General Armstrong about this." Her voice was cold like the Briggs Mountain itself. |

| Aki continues to watch the person as they walked to the Fort. "Damn it, who is that person?" |

| Aki throws the binoclous away. "Well, if it isn't Major McDougal. What are you doing all the way out here at Briggs?" |

| Aki looks at Mcdougal. "I'm not running this Fort. Everyone knows that Major General Armstrong runs Fort Briggs." She puts her claw gauntlets on. "I'm the only State Alchemist postition at Fort Briggs." |

| Aki glares at McDougal. "How should I know? I'm only a Sergeant. You would have to ask Major General Armstrong that question." |
|
| "I'm on guard duty at the moment. I have to watch the boarder on the other side of the Fort. We're the only strong hold that is keeping Drachma out of Amestrian. If I'm caught away from my post the Major General will have my head." |

| Aki looks at him. "We only take orders from Major General Armstrong. You have no ideal how things are run here at Briggs." |
|
| "Excatly my point. I can't leave my post and no one else can watch my post for me." Aki takes off her claw gauntlets and walks back to her post. |

| Aki, who was now back at her post, noticed McDougal was still following her. "Because a Briggs soldier must always be ready to fight." |
|
| Aki looks at him. "I can't, I'm watching the boarder right now." |
|
| Aki looks down at McDougal. "Major, what are you doing?" |
|
| Aki quickly puts her claw gaulents on and breaks the ice up before it can hit the base. She looks at McDougal. "Attacking your own allies, that rather low." |
|
| Aki looks at McDougal. "You do know what my Alchemist name is, right?" |
|
| Aki smirks. "I'm 'The Ice Cold Alchemist' I'm really surprised that you don't know that. Although it's true that I'm hardly ever in Central." |

| Aki looks at him. "You're 'The Freezer Alchemist' surprised that I know who you are." |
|
| "Heh, I know all about the other State Alchemist. From 'The Flame Alchemist all the way to 'The Fullmetal Alchemist' I feel that I need to keep myself updated on all State Alchemist anytime I'm sent to Central." |

| "I havn't been to Central in awhile, but rumor has it there's a kid known as 'The Typhoon Alchemist'." |
|
| "No, I don't." Aki took her claw gaunlets off. |
|
| Aki returns to looking out over the horizion of Drachma. "I return to my post." |
|
| Aki looks at McDougal. "You know Major, you're making it really hard to focus on my job right now." |
|
| "Then wait inside. I'm sure one of the other soldiers will tell you what to do." |
|
| Aki turns back and continues to watch the boarder. |
|
| Hours later Aki's watch was finally over and she was relieved of her post. She walks inside and gets something warm to drink. |

| Aki got some hot cocoa and began to drink it. |
