| No, I haven't read the manga yet.... the true is, I probably not going to read it anytime soon since I just watched the anime like one month ago and I remember pretty much everything about the story...and I also read part of the novel, so if I read the manga too, I might get sick(like read the same story for three times within a short period of time). However, I did read the 0 chapter of the manga which is about "16 years ago" when Reiko was in class 3-3. I think it was ok...I guess I am not a fan of the art....and I think the mangaka make the manga creepier than the anime. and ya, I ve heard the ending of the manga is happier(but not sure it is better thou), and a certain popular character still alive at the end.so may be you could give it another try if you want a happier ending...? Do you like reading book? if so may be you could try reading the novel instead? the englisg version is going to release next month, and you will understand the story better if you read the original novel. |

I'd love something that shows how the curse started and the chaos that ensues. Well, it is not really a sequel, so its not a story about the class 3-3 "curse" but I ve heard Mei and Kouichi will appear in the story and they encounter someone with a different kind of curse. something like that. and I agree, it would be nice to see how the chaos ensues afterward and see an end to the curse ~but I guess this is probably the typical japanese horror style where the curse or the cause of the disaster never really end/disappear at the end, just like Shiki, the Ring etc. |

My two favorite anime made by a couple!
