Nodame Cantabile
| James DePriest passed away on February 8. 2013, he was 77. He was a famous conductor and music director having preformed with many of the world’s top symphony orchestras. From 2005 to 2008 he was the Permanent Conductor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. It was during this time he was also the conductor of the studio orchestra that made the Nodame Cantabile sound track. In addition to conducting, he also played himself in the anime. In the second season, he was the music director of the fictional Paris orchestra when he hires Chiaki. |
