A simple game where once you manage to hit me I tell you everything I know about him?” Kuro had said. Shiro immediately responded while closing the distance between the two. "You're clearly underestimating me ... though it appears as though we've both had the same intentions all along." At that point of time, the gap between was a mere 5 meters. It's something that could be closed in by a mere second or two. Still planning on getting a feel for Kuro's strength, Shiro takes a split step upwards, to the nearby building above. He was five feet in the air, and immediately kicked the building to divert his landing to Kuro's left-back side, 2 meters within range. From there on, he feints a sword slash to the right. He stops halfway through the slash and instead, immediately changes his course to Kuro's shins. As such an unusual target place for swordsman, it would clearly be difficult for Kuro to escape the situation. Of course, Shiro does not fully extend himself and covers only a reasonable distance with his Black Key such that he can block and avoid any counterattacks if needed. It was truly a devastating sequence of movements. Far beyond what a regular swordsman is capable of doing ... and this was what Shiro considered to be a weak demonstration of his actual strength. |

| Kuro had the expression of a rather confused person if it wasn’t a battle then he would have probably blinked several times in sheer amazement of what this man was doing. It had caught Kuro by surprise since he assumed the man was simple enough to come head on which would have probably ended the fight in once clean strike...things had taken a change in course to an even better and more fun place! “Oh you’re faster than I thought but...” Kuro had yet to move from his spot in fact it looked like he had lost track of the man who was coming for him! Instead he moved at the last possible second it was almost like Kuro wanted to walk on the thin line from life or death or at least it would be if it was a killing blow! Such a risk was almost insane and yet to Kuro it didn’t seem to faze him in the slightest. Unlike Shiro who had done all kinds of different movements Kuro simply did one followed by a more deadly action a simple step to the side or at least it was made to look simple by Kuro however at the same time his blade began to raise upwards towards Shiro who was more than likely passing right by Kuro at this point. The movement of Shiro now being in the corner of his eyes the blade of Kuro being deadly aimed towards Shiro in a diagonal slash, if it landed then the young man would find himself with a serious wound on the side of his waist. The good news for Shiro though was that the strike wasn’t nearly as fast as one might expect which would give him a few split seconds longer than normal to dodge...Kuro was playing it seemed but this was a deadly game. “You won’t reach your goal this way...” Kuro finished what he was saying while waiting to see how Shiro would counter this situation. |
| "Again, you underestimate me too much." Though Kuro had immediately aimed for a far more vital place than Shiro, Shiro's slash still approached the vicinity of Kuro's shins. Kuro had expected him to dodge, but had only earned himself a free injury. Shiro's left hand quickly went slipped up two Black Keys from the pockets on the side of his left leg. One slipped between his index finger and middle finger, while the other slipped between his middle finger and ring finger. He instantly parried and deflected Kuro's attack. The incredible part is that he did not parry with the Black Keys' edges. He parried and deflected it through an accurate thrust, taking advantage of the blade's tip ... its sharpest point. Of course, he does this simultaneously while slashing Kuro's shin. It was Kuro's fault for playing such a dangerous game. However, he could see that Kuro lacked the fear that the vast majority of men would have. The two were about evenly matched for the most part, though neither side had really revealed their true strength. Shiro held no delay backing off a few steps the moment after he completes a clean cut on one of Kuro's shin. "You're ... quite the dangerous fellow. But, I like people like yourself!" Shiro says with a bright smile after completing his refined swordsmanship. Yes. This was the skills of a person who had lived his entire life in a battlefield, though he could only recall a miniscule of his true abilities that were hidden away by his lost memories. Immediately, Shiro could hear marines approaching the vicinity of the area. Even though he just sliced up Kuro, he knew that Kuro would not be an enemy to him. Two warriors who both, deep within their roots, love to battle, would get along quite nicely. It would be futile to continue fighting. They should take note of the marines' presences and act accordingly. "You hear that, don't you? Marines are coming. I want you to tell me about the Shrouded Warrior, but that'll have to come after we reach a safe destination." Shiro unsheathes his Black Keys and stares from the corner, taking sight of the marines that were quickly approaching. |

| “Waaaaaah…wooo sugoii!” Just as the two combating warrior’s sifted their previously murderous behavior to the oncoming marines, a little girl dressed in…what could only be described as…well…marine clothing shot by, right between the legs of the man now bleeding from his shins. (Baxter) “Goman ama, goman!” She stopped, looking up at the two menacing looking fellows, gazing passively from one to the other, before saluting. “Kaya doma reporting for duty sir! Where are those pirate scums that we are to kill? Are those them?” She turned, lifting her left hand to shoulder height pointing directly at the on-coming marine hoard. “Evil scum of the sea, stand and waaaah!” She toppled over, landing hard on her face, wayed down by a thin sword, that was strapped to her mid-back. |
 ◦It feels so close to me, yet i can't grasp it even if i extend my hands. Even so ... Even if i cant reach it ... there are things that will stay in my heart. Being in the same time and looking up at the same sky, If i can remember that, then even when we are apart from each other, I believe that we can be together. I will run forward now. | "..." A girl with long blue hair sat a short distance away, apparently watching the combatants. Studying them. But a good look at her eyes would tell all: She is blind. She can't watch them fight. Or could she? In this world where few things were certain, it was hard to say. She wore a marine's badge on her shoulder and just sat there, letting them fight for her own amusement. Someone falls over like an idiot, causing her to facepalm. Why must that idiot always end up wherever I go? She thought and sighed. |

| Kuro tracked the movements of Shiro as expected he managed to evade the slash but maybe he should have added more speed to the slash...then again he hadn’t intended to hit the young man or take his life. Still he hadn’t stopped his attack either which was another sign that Kuro had gone far too easy on this man but nothing he could do about it now and it wasn’t like he could move back to avoid the man’s attack. The momentum of his own strike would prevent that or at least prevent it from working fully. With a sigh it seemed Kuro had practically given up on evading the blow instead his hand was resting on the handle of his other Katana or at least near it...chances are he could or at least would stand a chance of parrying the attack. “And you win...good job!” Kuro laughed before the strike even landed. He didn’t seem to be too concerned about losing... Shiro had landed a blow even if Kuro had made sure it wasn’t anything serious it was still a blow! Kuro had learned what he needed from the man, he was a serious person when it came to fights but wasn’t a cold blooded killer either. More importantly it seemed he would be a trustworthy person which meant the small wound was well worth it! The two foxes that followed him everywhere didn’t seem to be concerned either in fact they were still lazily enjoying themselves. It was unfortunate that the peaceful moment was about to be shattered since as Kuro had already pointed out a few people were charging in their direction...marines by the sounds of it as well. “Well this one seems rather interesting.” Kuro looked down towards the marine that was now kissing the floor...normally it would be better to do that with girls or maybe guys since she was a girl... The small wound on Kuro didn’t hinder him the slightest instead he was bending down to poke the girl on her lower back. Not hard pokes but enough so that she would at least feel them and it wasn’t as if he was poking her in any weird places...she seemed too young for him or at least she looked rather small. “Hi, I’m Kuro and you would be?” she was a marine without a doubt and her friend was also here but Kuro didn’t feel under threat that much. Instead he carried on poking but this time it was her sides since perhaps she was ticklish and thankfully she wasn’t one of those ugly women that had more muscle than a bloody body builder! She did have a sword as well so maybe she was a swords...girl or something. |

She seriously thought that the two…swordsmen above her were marines; transplanting the role of pirate on the oncoming marines. Oopsy daisies, that might cut her poor career short, if she didn’t play it well. “I am kaya Doma, youngest member of the Marine brigade here on spin spin, didn’t you know that sir?” The girl flopped like a fish out of water, until she was able to get her feet under her, looking up at the man, a giant alligator smile on her face. Her eyes gleamed brightly as she saluted again, this time her sword slipping to one side and falling to the ground. “Up and at ‘’em private pile, and all that fun stuff right right?! Time to kick some snooty booty with those pirates over there!” The girl waved her hand wildly over her shoulder, as she began to bounce up and down on her those. The excitement was clearly getting to her; it appears, she failed to recognize—or perhaps understand, her being only ten years old—the peto-advances of the man in front of her, as he gently fondled her sides. |

| Sina quietly walks over to the foolish child and bonks her on the head before playfully punching the man. "It is illegal for a grown man to explicitly touch a minor, sir." She states curtly before turning her attention back to Kaya. "Baka. There's a pirate right in front of you." |

| “Sugoii sina-sama, soko…where?” The girl looked at the blind marine…who just happened to be…well, not quite her friend, but close enough for it not to matter. She was lost now, completely and udderly confused. Pirates? Could she be accusing their commanding officers—the two men in front of them—of being scum of the sea? She began to scratch her head pensively as she looked back and forth between the two men. |

| Maxwell giggles to himself, this entire time he had been sitting away from the combating area. Jotting down furious notes in a notebook while a stack of books stands beside him. It appeared he had documented the entire exchange, every so often scribbling out things as he continued to look from the book to the rest of the folks standing around. Some of the books in his stack read: "Culinary Cuisine for Spin-Spin Island" and others like "Hot Spots of Spin-Spin Island." It was difficult to tell if he was a tourist or crazy given his relaxed manner. |
"Kuro, was it? It's no time to be fooling around, with enemies in the vicinity. Let us go." Shiro put his hand on Kuro's shoulder and immediately dashed away with him. There would be no point in further interactions with the marines, noted for being only troublemakers. There was that, and the fact that he had been impatient and wanted to hear what Kuro may have known about the Shrouded Warrior. Of course, as they were leaving, Shiro released an ominous, threatening aura. Follow and you'll be killed. That's what it felt like. It was almost as if Shiro had a split, malicious personality to him. You would not dare follow him. His mind of steel would be there to strike you down until nothing's left. Yes. This is the true Shiro - His very essence, only briefly appearing from time to time having been trapped in his lost memories and subconsciousness. As they've covered some distance, Shiro opened his mouth once again to speak to Kuro. "Your parry would have immediately failed, had you not taken out your true swords. The piercing property of the Black Keys would have instantly dived through your katanas. I look forward to fighting you at your true strength in due time", Shiro says as he not only mentions that he notices Kuro's true blades, but also the fact that he has aces up his sleeve at well. It had only been a few minutes, but they seemed to be the ideal duo already. "Now, where are we to go? I recall seeing people that you were with ...
