| "And this is that little lady we've heard about right?" The bearded man motions towards Alan. "The one who crashed into us." A bit of hate creeps into his voice there. "Yup!" Cyn says cheerily, and moves Alan in front of him. "This is Alan." The bearded man scrutinizes her, then crosses his arms. --- (Heh. Right...) Alexi thinks to herself. "I wouldn't bother trying to contact them. This planet's magnetic field and rocks interfere with any signal we try to send out." She sighs. "I suppose I should head down to the engine room and see if Daylan has figured out what's wrong..." |
| "Oh my goodness. Please don't hate me sir! I hate it when people hate me! I'm sorry I really am! I was nudged by a mercenary ship and I-I.." Alan looks at him with big tears in here eyes ready to pour. --- "If you need any help at all just say the word, Captain." Brink sits down and opens up a book. |
| Cyn looks at the man, then they both start laughing. "Hate you?" The bearded man chuckles again. "How could I hate someone I don't even know?" He lays a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down hun. Nobody here hates you." He strokes his beard then motions to Cyn. "If anyone should hate you, it'd be this guy. You crashed into his baby ya know." "Oh shut up Daylan." Cyn pushes Daylan back a step, making him chuckle. "I'm not especially angry about that or anything anymore anyway..." Cyn says. "Besides, the Captain seems to trust you, so that's good enough for me and the rest of the crew." --- Alexi walks down to the engine room, only to find it vacant of the man she's looking for. She gets an update of what's wrong with the engine from another crew member there, then proceeds through the ship looking for Daylan. (It's always when I need to talk to him that I can't find him...) |
| "R-Really?" Alan turns to Cyn, hopeful for a new start. -- (I have nooooooooooooo idea what to do.) Brink spins around in the captains chair. He practically is smashing at his PDA. "Work you f*ck." |
| Cyn smiles at her. "Really." He looks past her and sees Alexi. "Uh oh Daylan. She's looking for you." Daylan follows his gaze and cringes. "Crap." Alexi meets them. "Found you!" "Captain!" Both men salute her but only Daylan stands at attention. "Can we fly yet or not?" Alexi asks. "We can fly," Daylan says carefully. "But we won't be going far. If we activate the WD, then the ship might fall apart." "No fast travel huh?" "But we could make it back home given enough time..." Daylan says hopefully. "Alright. Tell the crew to finish what they're doing and then prepare for launch." Cyn and Daylan salute her again before she heads back into the ship. |
| (I'm going to start a new forum thingie after this post alright? To Kavarda!) The crew works swiftly and finishes what needs to be done in order to get the ship off the ground. Alexi sits in her Captain's chair, commanding the crew skillfully, Daylan in the engine room monitoring the status of the ship, and Cyn flying the ship with ease. Though they are traveling at half speed, it is only a matter of time before the Aurora docks at the Kavardan station... |
