Sergio had traveled back into the middle of town after the marines had chased off Kuro and Shiro. Since he had been off to the side in the shade, they hadn’t noticed him. Plus he didn’t give off the aura of a trouble-making pirate. He had been trained in the marines after all. He believed that Kuro could take care of himself just fine, and he seemed to have a special connection to Shiro. If anything, he felt sorry for any poor soul of a marine that would come across them. As he walked by all stalls, Sergio saw many things ranging from food, to weapons, to trinkets that seem to hypnotize any who passed by. Sergio wasn’t interested in any of it. He was back on his pursuit for scotch; at least, until he overheard something that struck his very core. ”She is gone...my older sister...w..we were playing...but she disappeared in the field...I can’t find her at all... Nobody will help me and they say im a lair but i promise it’s true! We were playing then she just disappeared from the field. I have searched everywhere but she isn’t there...” Images of his own sister flashed before Sergio’s eyes. His situation was quite similar to what he had just overheard. In fact, that was the main reason he had left the marines and began is journey as a pirate. His sister was out there somewhere, and he wouldn’t stop until he found her. Sergio looked over and saw two men standing over the boy. It didn’t seem like they were giving him any trouble. On the contrary, it seemed like they were listening to his story and wanting to help. Sergio walked over and tipped his hat up looking at the two men. “Sorry, but I accidentally overheard you guys talking. I’ve decided to make this my business. I think we need to help this boy out. It doesn’t seem like anybody else is going to do it around here.”

Once auami sold the gold she stole she bought four sticks of dynamite and some nitroglycerin for safe measure. Once she has what she needs she heads back to where she hid the chest being careful not to bumb into any guards or those strange pirates with there own agenda. She couldn't believe pirates could be nice, "she had never seen a nice pirate before so why now they must have there own plans" she thought to herself. Once she is safely outta the market being extra careful to take back alleys and jump from roof top to roof top to avoid detection she heads back to her hiding spot. Once she's there she jumps into the lake and digs up the chest she then pulls the chest outta the water and pouts nitroglycerin in the lock. She had to be careful she didn't know what was inside and she didn't want to damage it so she only poors a decent amount into the lock. She then opens the chest hoping to find something of extreme value worth all the trouble she went through.

As Kuro stretched out to help the downed man there was a slight movement from his head, he could hear something eerily similar to a "sniffing" sound, as if water could be smelled, the proximity of water seemed like a remedy and before he knew it the same hand that had held his wrist grabbed hold of the water and splashed it over the back of his head. Grooooaah!! Like a rising mountain, the towering man rose above them, even with his right knee in the ground, they had to look up to see his face. They managed to get a close glimse of his face before he grabbed hold of the water container, breaking it open like a nut before placing it squarly on his mouth, chugging it all down in huge gulps. His face was modeled like how you would imagine steel, a sharp solid jaw with extruded cheekbones and a great circular forehead which was crowned by two unkept brows that bordered two distinctly grey-blue eyes that almost seemed like they were constantly peering at an enemy, his entire face seemed locked in this constant "war-face". Though as he was chugging the water down something more interesting quickly become noticable, on his chest going all the way up from his heart to his shoulder was a long eloberate tattoo that was partly broken up by scars and old burn marks, causing writting that followed the tattoo down its lenght to be parly unreadable, the words over his chest completelly unreadable.. However, the words over his shoulder was still clear; over one winged seagull, they could read the word "Justice". Ahh! Delicious..! The brute casually threw the container away, it was a very casual one handed toss, as one would throw away a piece of gum paper, but it still caused the thing to fly effortlessly through the air, finally coming to a crash on the other side of the beach, one kilometer away. Seemingly having his energy completelly renewed he looked down upon them as a smile slowly broke across his expression, it looked geniune but on his particular face it looked kinda scary, like the smile of a man before his final battle. Thank the sea, I thought I would have to lay here til the next downpour! It really warms my heart to see such a couple of warm-hearted individuals here so far out in... The brute suddenly looked really perplex, going slightly pale as he started scratching his head as he started to scan the area with a growingly confused expression. Err, where are am I exactly?

Kuro watched on in awe as the giant man sprung into life he was certainly a sight. Glorious in many ways from a warrior perspective but from a normal point of view he was probably a monster that would strike fear into many men’s hearts. The he again if he was to suddenly attack now Kuro would also more than likely be shaken up...fighting him head on would be suicide and considering what he had seen earlier this man wasn’t a slouch either. He was certainly in a different league to them right now. “You are on Spin-Spin Island.” Kuro responded to the man’s question while looking up at him. Looking up at the man made Kuro seem tiny and he wasn’t exactly small himself instead this man just made everything around him look like tiny insignificant ants. Speaking of ants he could probably crush them like ants as well! Which made the justice word on his body a rather big problem, the word and broken mark on his body often meant one was somehow connected to the marines. Lucky enough for Kuro his name wasn’t well known yet and his ship had yet to gain the mark of a pirate the famed Jolly Rodger. So barring anything unexplainable happening or anything stupid then they should all be fine...unless the man was a raging lunatic of course! Kinda made Kuro want to laugh slightly or at least chuckle to himself at the mess he had found himself in but nothing could be done about it now. “Anyway my name is Kuro and what do we call you?” Kuro seemed rather friendly but that was his actual nature. Despite the man being a marine and how dangerous he was Kuro wouldn’t feel right leaving him besides he was interested now as well.

Marketplace Event (Event progression triggered for: MikuIzumi As the lid on the chest flew open, it seemed that this little pirate had been dumbfoundedly lucky and gotten the explosives just perfect. The lid yerked backwards from the force, and actually came off of its hinges and rolled over on the ground, leaving the open chest hidden in a plume of smoke and dust. When the smoke settled, the front of the chest had been stained with a blackened spot of soot from the explosion. The outer layer of the front of the chest blew to pieces, but strangely the inner layer seemed to be made from a different material, strong enough to withstand the blast without hurting the inside. But that was far from the wierdest part about the chest. The strangest parts, was its contents. Looking into the chest, seeing what it contained was impossible due to the entire thing being filled to the very brim with a thick silverish liquid. It behaved like water, only thicker and abit more slush-ish. On of the copper screws from the blown-up chest suddenly came falling down from above. Appearently it had been blown sky-high in the blast and didnt land before now. The screw plopped into the liquid, and caused a strange reaction. The liquid itself sort of twitched, like a living creature, before the screw suddenly started shedding something that looked like irondust. A closer look would reveal that the screw was being eating from the inside, a reaction most destructive it seemed, as the screw literally turned to dust before her eyes. (Im not gonna tell you what to do here, since you dont like waiting for my posts :) To get to the prize inside you need to deal with the liquid somehow. I would try to ask the alchemist you got nitroglycerine from for advice, or simply experiment until you figure out what it is. The options are many, but please end your next post when you do something with the liquid since i need to post how the liquid reacts to what you do :) ) |

Marketplace Event (Event progression triggered for: Talia_Morisane, Haissem) By this time, the girl was beginning to get stressed as her commands were ignored and replaced with some mumbo jumbo she didnt care about. She cared about cash, cash to start a new life, and was tired of being nice about it. For years she had kept her personal morale close to her heart, but not this year. The Spining Festival was upon them in just a few minutes, and she wasnt about to let her last chance to escape the island go to waste. The deal had become too risky.. ______________________________________________________________ "Sorry lady, wrong answer~" She said, completely changing her demeanor and tone of voice. The frail little girl was never real, a persona taken on by this fed up thief. The way she carried herself had also changed. No longer hesitant, fragile and scared, she stood her ground in a calm defencive position. "There are plenty of pirates on the island right now, plenty of retards that needs to be seperated from their coins..." She said, pulling the stolen Devil fruit out of her robe. Taking aim like a baseball pitcher, she looked just about ready to throw the damn thing into the ground and splat it all over the place. "Bounce-Bounce Launch!" She yells with a grin, and in the blink of an eye smashes the fruit into the ground with all her might. The fruit however did not shatter or splat. Instead, the moment it hit the ground the Devil fruit was bounced back at a mindboggling speed. Only a split second after taking to the skies, the fruit was already so high up that you could not see it anymore. "Last call Lady, cough up some gold and i catch the ugly thing before its raped by the ground~" She says, wiggling her right foot sort of tapping it against the ground rythmically. |

Upon seeing the silver blob she didn't know what to do so she figured it would be best to take it to the alchemist, at worst she could always use it as a weapon. So she picks it up by the chest piece it was resting upon and begins to take it to the alchemist she got the nitroglycerin from, making sure to first get the hell outta the area, she headed to the beach first to avoid being cought by anyone.

Diana smirks. Then she starts to snicker. Her snicker turns into a laugh and then her laugh becomes maniacal. "And to think, you might have gotten away with enough money to buy 3 large islands.." She then takes the time to take her cape back from Axis, putting it on. Her grin was like that of a madman with a pinch of superiority mixed in. "Go ahead and splatter it then, but if you do your chance at riches vanishes. You're a little idiot if you think that any person could carry that much gold on their person! I had intended on meeting with you privately so that I could have the gold carted over to you without prying eyes trying to steal it...but you didn't even think f that, did you?" "You have nothing to gain by destroying it, and I have nothing to lose if it is destroyed. Seems like a rather bad end to this, don't you think?" With a sigh, she takes the suitcase off of her back, which is usually concealed by her cape and opens it. The thing is filled to the brim with more money than the thief could count. "Take your money and meet me at the docks later. I'd love someone like you to join our crew." She sets the suitcase down on the ground.

The man had a face signalling rejuvenation. It was truly a sight to behold. Shiro had never experienced such rejuvenation himself, but as a warrior, he had understood the meaning to it. While the man was drinking, Shiro noticed the words “Justice” on his shoulder. He was clearly a marine or somebody associated with them, and was most likely many times more powerful than both Kuro and himself. Despite that, he never feared him … nor had he regret helping him. Yes. This was who Shiro was. He was the type that would often help people with no expectation of returns. For Shiro, the way of helping others is a natural action. Despite the danger that the man posed, Shiro still found him to be quite the interesting person. Like Kuro, he too wanted to get to know him better. “It’s nice to meet you. My name is Shiro,” he had said. Getting to know somebody as great as the man wouldn’t be a bad experience. Shiro had calmed down from wanting Kuro to tell him about the Shrouded Warrior. The information, whether real or fake, could always come later.

As auami got to the beach she saw a giagantic man being talked to by two guys one of them came from that pirate shore she didn't know if they would attack her or not. They seemed nice enough though the others did too she heard one of them named shirou she would have to remember that. She makes sure there backs are turned then casually walks across the beach all the way to the alchemists stand she steps inside. After that auami looks around and then tells hey mister can you help me with something I have gold to pay you with if you can help me. She then waits for the alchemist to come out and help her with the blob she had With her.

Marketplace Event (Event progression triggered for: MikuIzumi) As Auami arrived at the Alchemists tent by the eastern pier, she could hear him rustling around inside with something made of glass. When she called for him, he jumped as if someone just pulled a gun on him. After making sure she werent there to kill him, the nervous Alchemist pulled back the curtains and stepped outside. His face when he saw the girl and what she was carrying, became pale as snow.. _______________________________________________________________________ "W-w-what are you doing with that thing!? Let go of it, now!" He shouted terrified, and ran over to her while putting on a pair of wierd brown gloves. After helping her quickly put the chest down he holds her hands out as if checking to see if they were ok. "Are you insane!? Who the hell walks around with a crate full of goddamn Mercury without proper protection?? Dont you know that stuff is poisonous!?" He shouted, but quickly calmed himself as he realized he might scare her. Calming down considerably, the alchemist looked at the Mercury in the chest with a puzzled look. "Hold on, i need to make sure its really Mercury before i can safely take it inside.." He said, and pulled out a wierd looking rod from his satchel. It looked like a fork, with only two endings instead of the usual four. Bending down, the Alchemist takes note of the strange metal covering the inside of the chest, before gently poking the liquid with the rod. The liquid twitched and made a wierd sound when touched by the rod, like a whimpering animal. The strangest reaction tho was from the liquid itself, more prescisely the spot the Alchemist had touched with the rod. It looked to have grown a small patch of fur. Although before they could study it further, the fur melted back into mercury as the alchemist stepped back with a frightened look. "K-kairoseki.. H-how, i..." He stuttered, looking as the Mercury was still twitching. Looking at the girl, he tried to calm himself enough to explain. "The.. the inside of the chest is lined with Seastone. Its a very thin layer, and the mixture seems to be lowgrade and watered down which is why the liquid is still moving and reacting.." He said, walking carefully back towards the chest. "You see, that Mercury is not a liquid at all. Its a bloody Devil Fruit user, and a Logia user too. The fur earlyer makes me think maybe a wild animal got to the fruit and ate it.. in which case, we might have a Mercury-Logia predator of a viscous nature on our hands!" He said, staring at the liquid making sure it didnt try to exit the chest. The thin layer of seastone might not have cancelled its ability, but it weakened it enough so that it couldnt move all too well. In addition, the cramped space combined with the slight seastone effect made sure the creature couldnt transform out of its logia state nor solidify it. It was a crude, cheap but ingenious contraption: A chest that passifies and traps Logia users! "W-what do you want me to do with it? Do you atleast have the lid of the chest, so this thing doesnt e-escape!?" The alchemist asked nervously. (Regardless of whats inside the chest, the chest is a Prize in itself and can be unlocked by recovering the Lid and having a character with a Devices skill of rank 20 to fix it. You alternatively try as early as rank 10, but risk destroying the chest if your skill is too low. After that, it can be used like the alchemist said; to passify, trap and keep a Logia user imprisoned in His/her/its logia form. There are still prizes to be unlocked in this event, depending on what you do next.) |

Auami immidetly looks shocked as the alchemist Just is about to drop it on the ground when she remembers what it did to the screw and afraid of what it might do to her she regains her balance and holds the chest firm. She then yells out when he says poisounous "poisonous why what extra about it is poisonous" Auami then rambles on saying stuff like "what exactly is mercury any way and how do I know if I've been infected by it, what do I do if I've been poisoned " she then puts the chest down on the table gently when he helps her she then watches as he pokes it, and her heart melts as the fur appear and listens to it yelp, she realizes right then it's a animal. Then she goes "awwww isn't there a way we can help him without him killing us, I'd hate to see the little guy suffer and if I could I'd like to keep him as a pet. also I may be able to go get the lid but first I'd like to see if the animal is ok have any ideas on how to sedate him so we can check to see if he is dangerous first."

Having waited a while after the conclusion of the battle between the two young pirates Maxwell slipped into the market place on the hunt for more knowledge about the island. Slung over his shoulder was a net filled with books of various titles, they all seemed to share the same theme, all had something to do about some aspect of Spin-Spin Island. Moving from here to there he peeked into each of the stalls, jotting down notes and drawings of what he saw. It was bustling and alive. He even heard exclaims of thievery, taking an interest in the exotic merchant’s claims of a stolen Devil Fruit. He knew to some degree what they were, but he hadn’t taken the time to truly study them. He offered to assist the man to the best of his abilities, but was soon cut short with the sound of a voice proclaiming a reward for the return of the fruit. It would appear that someone might’ve already beaten him to the punch. This worried Maxwell very little, he’d find out something about the Devil Fruit either way. Slipping through the crowded pathways he emerged to witness the exchange between a woman wearing golden… wait… not just golden, but shoes made of gold and the possible thief. He wasn’t sure if his assessment was accurate until the supposed thief pulled an odd looking fruit from her clothing it was all the confirmation he needed. Before he could move to retrieve the fruit it was launched into the air, bounced… what an odd notion. Sighing heavily he returns his view to the two women, the fruit now moving beyond his field of vision. Things always become complicated around pirates, but at least Gold Shoes was reasonable and willing to deal. He made a note of it; she was someone he could possibly barter with if needed. This brief little side trip had turned into an adventure in itself. Thinking that there was information to be gained from this he decided to follow the thief to see where she would go from here.

Kegan arrived later than the rest but he wanted to make up for that missed time as soon as possible. His main mission was simple. Find a crew. Then his stomach growled. "Eat first. Crew searching later." he said as he strode through the marketplace. The people around him were rather shocked by his features as well. He stands two meters tall with a halberd that is about the same height as he is. ![]() The kids pointed and spouted questions to their parents only for the parents to shoo them away immediately after seeing him. He did not mind. All he wanted was something to eat. After rounding several corners he finally found a little out of the way tavern where once inside he felt right at home. The smells of food cooking mixed with a strong air of booze. It was perfect. So feeling quite at home he managed to find an empty chair in the middle of the tavern and sat down for a spot to eat. No sooner than he sat down he found himself greeted by a waiter. "Elo chap. What'll ya be havin?" she asked. "I'll have a pint of mead and whatever you might recommend from the menu." he said smiling at the thought of food. She nodded and strode off leaving him behind grinning like an idiot as he tried to envision random plates of food. After sitting there several minutes he decided to look around. He noticed that there were two quite different sets of people in said dinner. On one side you had a noisy lot who were screaming and having as they used to say a "gay" old time. On the other you had a set that looked about as comfortable as a cat in water. It was quite funny to look at but then like two polar opposites the two came crashing together in the most horrible fashion possible. "To bad this lot decided to turn up today of all days. This was supposed to be a special birthday surprise for ya mate." one of the locals said absurdly loud and like in most cases that kind of comment was met with some tension from the opposite side. "Oi! You got something to say then say it to our faces ya pussies!" a man grunted from across the way. At first Kegan thought the event hilarious until he realized he was smack dab in the middle and if a fight broke out. "Fuck. I need to get out of here." yet as soon as he verbalized it a single mug goes flying across the room and all Kegan can do is watch as it whizzes by then a thud. The glass missed the target but that was all it took to send the place into a free for all. Pirates and civilians clash with Kegan slap in the middle. "Oh, balls." was all he could say before he started brawling his way towards the door.

Axis merely looks on as events proceed however when he sees the fruit bounced into the air his brain starts ticking. Grabbing a piece of chalk outof his pocket whilst licking his index finger of the opposite hand and holding it in the air. "...east." You won't be right, you'll screw up like always Axis then walks over near the biunce point and to the east of it draws an x,. "Here." Axis then stands and waits next to the x, waiting for the fruit to come down.

Spin-Spin Island, where in the world..? The marine seemed to study them for a short moment, his curiosity perhaps roused by the strange name combination, he seemed to chuckle for a moment but it was hardly recognizable through the cold face, his hands reaching for something in his pocket. I thank you both for your assistance, I am - Splooooooooosh!!! Interrupting his answer, a sudden great fountain of water blew all the water in the surrounding area sky-high, and out of the watery explosion appeared a long sleek ship with a huge mortar on the front, its front end was black as night but the rest was completely white except for a single blue line that ran along the command station at the far end of the ship, it was a white fleet destroyer. Boom! Almost as quickly as it had appeared, its main gun fired towards the beach, but instead of the normal alarming whine of an incoming cannonball you could hear the distinct sound of "Wheeeeee!!". The red flare that at this point was clearly a human flew over Kuro and Shiros ship, making a human sized hole in its sail before making a couple of skips on the water, finally colliding with the beach. But, instead of dying as one would usually after being fired by a mortar, the guy jumped straight to his feet and launched himself towards the trio, landing right next to the huge marine. We've been searching for you, Vice Admiral Lord! Standing at around 1.90, the almost two meter tall newcomer stood almost shoulder to shoulder with the huge marine, he had black crazy hair that seemed to go all over the place, covering a sleek head and a homely yet handsome face. He was clad in samurai platting over your typical white marine officer uniform, the emblem of the white fleet was present on his right shoulder blade(his shoulder plates are formed to function as make-shift weapons, its a bad pun). He was wielding a great spear in his right arm and he had two swords locked away in two ornate red sheets, on his back two small axes had been strapped tightly, rows upon rows of daggers and other throwing weapons hung loosely or tightly around various parts of his body, even his leather boots had a secret blade hidden beneath the folds. Though if anything was recognizably about him, it was his great sparkly orange eyes that seemed to utterly glow with energy, as if he was about to explode. I've told you to stop being so formal.. The "Vice-Admirial" seemed to get a pained expression upon meeting his fellow marine, instead he looked over to the destroyer "Is Arell here too? Nice flight by the way." The marine officer seemed to beam at the latter remark and if it was possible to sound more exited about something so trivial he made it so. "Admiral Java is finishing up the remaining resisters on Saobody, after you disappeared the Roze fleet showed up and well, it got pretty hectic without you there sir. For a moment a look of concern flashed over the vice-admirals face but a quick wave and a nod from the officer got him calmed down. "He is okay sir, they never reached The Eternal Blaze.(White Fleet Mothership, also known as the Second Sun). At that moment the newcomer seemed to notice the two others, noticing this the vice mentioned their names and what they had done. "Shiro and Kuro, black and white huh? I, Second Officer Rail, owe the two of you a dept of gratitude." He said as he dropped to one knee, bowing his head. An action that made the vice grow an awkward expression, he did't seem to like Officer Rails hyper-active samurai-like nature.

The next set of events that unfolded seemed almost impossible to Kuro. It wasn’t that anything was actually impossible to do well parts of it more than likely was for most people. Instead it was that you wouldn’t normally expect to see something unfold like it did...almost like somebody was writing up a crazy story that just ripped the rulebook in half, stamped on it and then just for safe measure burnt the poor book to bits. Kuro couldn’t or didn’t want to interrupt the duo as they exchanged formalities and other bits and pieces of information. It would be rude and also he was learning quite a bit of information without actually doing anything so it was working our rather perfectly...if not terrifyingly at the same time. “Really you don’t need to bow to me...honestly we didn’t do anything special at all. We just shared some water with this man here i mean your Vice Admiral.” His eyes looked over towards the giant ship that had shot out of the water before trailing back towards both men. Without a doubt the ship was from the famed White Fleet and considering everything that had been said this giant man was one of the tops. The newer samurai man was probably high ranked to by the way he acted and spoke and that was without taking into consideration how he was dressed. Then again he said he was the second officer so of course he was strong. Without a doubt if they ever had any thoughts of being able to take the giant man on those had been swiftly crushed in a heartbeat. The plan for the island had been changed drastically with the information they had just learned. The White Fleet were known for being destroyers of pirates and they didn’t hold back or take prisoners...even if it was only one ship it was still too much for them to handle right now. “It’s a bit strange that the powerful White Fleet would come to an unknown island. Is everything okay?” Kuro seemed curious and worried all at the same time. It wasn’t the worry you would get for yourself but more for the others on the island. His eyes looking back up towards the towering Vice Admiral hoping for something...anything would do.

“The pleasure is all ours. It is within nature for naturally good-willed individuals to help each other”, Shiro had said without hesitation. Seeing that the second officer had bowed, Shiro himself had bowed in return. With one knee also on the ground, he tilted his right arm to be diagonal to his shoulders. It was an excellent stance that you would see from a soldier. It wouldn’t even be surprising for Shiro to be mistaken as a marine himself, if not for his clothing, on the basis of his stance alone. Of course, he smiled while he took on the bow. Although the stance itself looked heavily formal, it was an ordinary action for Shiro to display that he had recognized the gratitude that others had given him. It was well within himself to be respectful all forms of gratitude with an equal appreciation. He stood up after his stance and stared at the ship in awe. Menacing, but beautiful was all that could be said to describe it. Despite its intimidating presence to pirates, Shiro seemed not to give the slightest care. After all, he was neither pirate nor marine … For Hono Shiro is, without a doubt, a WARRIOR. With the starting chaos between the pirate and marine factions, the scenery had been ruined. The dazzling flowers that blossomed on top of the hill where he rested, followed by refreshing breezes of wind had been disrupted. This place could soon turn into a … battlefield. The scenery’s … changed. As he thought of this, more images of battlefields had returned to Shiro’s consciousness. “U-Ugh …” The pain was exhilarating at this moment. Worst of all, the pain was psychological. Some of the bloodiest battlefields continued swarming through Shiro’s head. Malice. Death. Anguish. Despair. Blood. Swords. Swords! SWORDS! Out of what he’d ordinarily expected to see, Shiro had saw something different – something new. People had clashed with what appeared to be invisible armors with their weapons (Armanent Haki Usage). They screamed on the top of their lungs, signalling their willpower. Making sure that the others wouldn’t rush to him, Shiro took on the pain. “Excuse me. I have a bad omen about what may happen. As Kuro as asked earlier, is there something significant that is about to happen on this island?”

((Its not a giant ship, its a destroyer class which are all relativly small compared to the larger classes of ships :), its probably smaller than yours bax)) Something happening? Saaahh.. I dunno. The giant marine started gazing off into the distance, taking a quick glance of Kuros boat before returning to his pocket search, finally drawing out a pocket-watch, opening it up he inspected it for a short moment before suddenly going pale. "Ah shit, its past the time!". The samurai warrior suddenly seemed to burst with even more energy "Ah! What a huge problem!". Looking like he had just seen a ghost the Vice Admiral looked out towards the now abandoned marine fortress. "I have an idea." "What is it!?" "Well we are gonna need a lot of firepower." "Ohh!?" We are gonna need it to throw one gigantic BBQ! The Samurai threw his hands into the air as if to cheer the coming of this new idea. "But where are we gonna get the meat!?" "This island probably got a market, lets use some of our extra-funds to- "We used our remaining funds last week on that giant brawl party you launched at HQ!" "AAAAAAH!!" The two marines, even the tense one had gone into total frantic mode, throwing ideas back and forth like wildmen with the singular purpose of gaining sustenance in great amounts. Finally the vice admiral turned towards them with a powerful burning ambititon in his eyes. "You, you live here right? Are there any animals on this island!? Or do you know of someone who could write a check?" "Maybe we could get the local marines to chip in sir!" The both of them looked up at the make-shift fortress, that just in that moment, finally decided to collapse onto itself. "Eh, I doubt that will work."

Marketplace Event (Event progression triggered for: Talia_Morisane, Haissem) The change in strategy proved to work in Diana and Axis favor, as the thief was sold by the suitcase of money. She might be greedy, and the prospect of a mountain of gold was still tempting, but in reality all she really needed was enough to start a life somewhere else. And the amount in the suitcase would suit(case) that purpose. She was visibly surprised at the offer to join the crew. The surprise was only visible for a moment however, before she proceeded to accept Dianas offer... in her own way~ __________________________________________________________ "Heh, i like smart people!" She blurts, and quickly snatches the suitcase in what seemed to be a single sweeping movement before she was out of hands reach again a few feet away. It wasnt that fast, but the fact that it seemed to be one single motion made it appear much quicker then it was. "I hope your butler here knows how to catch!" She shouts excitedly as she stomps her right foot on the ground. "Bounce bounce: Liftoff!" With a powerful "boing" sound, she takes off into the sky after the fruit, almost matching the speed at which the fruit flew off earlyer. If it werent for the goggles covering her eyes, usually used on her head as a hairband whenever not bouncing, she wouldve probably lost them due to the extreme windpressure. Her hair were flowing through the air, whipping at her neck and the back of her shoulders. She loved this feeling, the absolute freedom of soaring in the sky. It was as close to flying as anyone would ever get she thought. "She shoots!" She yells, catching the fruit in midair and holding it behind her like a basketball player preparing for the slam-dunk of the century. Flipping forward, she flings the fruit downward towards Axis. "She scores!!" With a single hop, she bounces off of the roof of a nearby building and vanishes off towards the other side of the village, becoming incognito amongst the crowd. (Becouse of Dianas special talent, the payment did not cost anything for her nor the crew. The thief is gone for now, but may appear later if triggered. Good job aquiring the fruit~) ********************************** Marketplace Event (Event progression triggered for: MikuIzumi) ________________________________________________________ "Mercury.." The Alchemist explains. "Also known as quicksilver in some circles. Its a metal which is really unique in that its one of only two we know about that exist as a liquid under normal temperatures and normal pressure.." The alchemist had clearly gone into nerd-mode, continuing his explanation while rummaging through an equipment chest just inside the tent entrance, still visible from the outside. "It eats certain types of metal, and is extremely poisonous to humans, fishmen, giants, anything we know about that breathes really. Its almost guaranteed to kill you if you accidently get it in your mouth or eat it, but it can also be absorbed through the skin and can easily kill you that way aswell.. AHA!! Here it is!" The alchemist blurts out, pulling a wierd ring of sorts out of the chest. "You cant sedate a Logia user without cancelling its devil-fruit ability, which can only be done with.." He says, holding the ring out. "..Seastone!" The alchemist used the little rod from earlyer and prodded it onto the mercury. Slowly it turned into fur. Using his other hand he pressed the ring towards the patch of fur, and then spread the ring and the rod across the liquid away from eachother, slowly forcing the creature to return to its original form. Holding the rod against the fur, the alchemist slips the ring onto his finger and slides his hand under the creature to lift it out. "Come out come out, thats a good boy~" he says as he lifts it out and places it on the ground. "Would you look at that, its a bloody Dog!" He blurts, making sure to hold his hand with the seastone-ring firmly placed against the dogs back to keep it restrained. The dog was of an unknown breed. The size of a regular retreiver, its fur was brown and mediumlong. Its eyes peered at the Alchemist with a look of fear and hostility. There was no doubt the creature was scared, and was going to attack if given the chance. "And thats not the only surprise, take a look at that!" The alchemist says, nodding towards the dogs right side. To their surprise, there was another devil fruit sticking out of its side. Appearantly there had been a fruit in the liquid, which ended up inside the dog when solidified. It looked extremely painful.. The alchemist also takes note of the two slots in the chest, clearly designed to hold devil fruits, and had to crack a smile. "This poor creature.. It mustve gotten stuck aboard a pirateship somehow, and starved when it came across this chest.." He says, pointing towards the chest. "He probably climbed in there to eat the fruits, but stopped at one since its a known fact that devil fruits taste absolutely horrible. And once that was done.. the seastone on the sides of the chest did the rest, poor thing mustve been in there ever since eating it. And now the other one is stuck inside of it.." The alchemist asked the girl for her name. "Auami.. it seems there is only one thing to do here. In order to save this mutt, and to get your hands on that fruit inside of it, i need to remove my hand and let the dog turn into mercury again. It will most likely escape.. but the only other alternative is to leave it like this until it dies and then take the fruit out.. And if you want to do that, you need to find yourself another alchemist becouse i dont want any part in killing an innocent animal.." (Good luck~) |

-Quick Update- Marine forces had spread out in town and had managed to catch several low level pirates that had accidentily wandered into the extremely exited marines. It was now getting hard for pirates to do anything in town, however some had started figthing back and fires were starting to spread through town. The main party of Marines were now running as group, consisting of the leader, five veterans and the new girl they somehow managed to find at the outskirts of town. they had heard of ships laying off-shore close to the town and was now heading there to see if they could do something, honestly they had no plan, but at this moment there was too much to do to care!

Auami stared in amazement as he lists off the amazing uses and powers of mercury, shaking her head understandably her photographic memory would sure come in handy here. She was amazed at his vast knowledge listing off such a wide range of facts about the metal. She then looks sad for a brief moment when he says he can't sedate her but then instantly cheers up when he pulls out the sea stone ring. "thats so great im so happy we have a way" She then makes one of those faces people make when they see something cute. "awww. It's a cute little doggy yay I wish I could keep it as a pet " She then snaps outa it when the alchemist says look at that. "look at what " Then her face lights up when he says its another devil fruit she jumps into the air outta excitement she then fist pumps and says "yes!!" She then gets all giddy until she sees the devil fruit is actually sticking outta the dogs side she gets a sad look when the alchemist implies it must be very painful for him. "awwww poor little guy isn't there any way to help him" She then hears the mans remark and says how dare you I can't believe you would think I was so heartless as to hurt a poor little doggy. But then she remebers he said he might run away so she says "I might have a way to keep him here after all you can let go and remove the fruit to save him please " She then takes out her sword which just happened to be normal in every way a perfectly disposable piece of gear she then holds it up to the doggy as soon as he's back to mercury and says "here little doggy want something to eat please stay here with me"

Marketplace Event (Event progression triggered for: MikuIzumi) Hearing Auami's suggestion, the alchemist agrees to let her try. He slips one of the gloves out of his pocket and somehow managed to wiggle it onto his free hand, which he uses to grab the fruit. The dog winces slightly, and the alchemist loosens his grip to make it more comfortable. As the alchemist remove the seastone-ring from the dogs back, it slowly begins to stir again. The mercury power reacted to the dogs pain, and liquified the area where the other fruit was stuck, allowing the alchemis to pull it out without hurting the dog. As the alchemist stands up to take a closer look at the fruit, the dog yerks and springs to its feet. Its tail and the hairs on its back were liquified, and flowing like waves across its back all the way down to the tip of the tail which was dripping with mercury. It was growling, and in a defencive positure which caused the alchemist to back up a few steps. The dog sees Auami, but is too scared and aggressive to even think about eating at the moment... ____________________________________________________________________ "Easy now boy.." The alchemist said, trying to approach the dog slowly while handing Auami the fruit. It belonged to her after all, and the alchemist wasnt one to steal even tho he was tempted to. The alchemist slowly reached his hand towards the dog, trying to make the ring touch it to cancel out its power and make it weak again. But the attempt would not end that way... The dog twisted away from Auami and lunged at the alchemist. Its hind legs turning to Mercury, it propelled itself up and planted its jaws around the alchemists throat with such force that he dropped the seastone ring, which rolled over amongst the stalls and vanished from sight. Falling backwards, screaming while trying to fight the dog off, the alchemist pulls out a knife and tries stabbing wildly at its side to kill it. But it was no use, the dog reacted by turning completely into mercury, covering the alchemists entire body with the toxic substance. It was a horrible sight. The liquified creature whirled around the alchemists body like a silvery vortex, forcing its way inside the alchemists eyes, ears, mouth, nose, contaminating every cell in his body within seconds. He screamed, the gods know he screamed all that he could muster, but no sound came other then muffled gags of mercury flooding his windpipe and lungs. The poor man went into shock, flailing wildly about in an attempt to save his own life before he slowly stopped moving alltogether. The dog flowed its liquid across the ground, solidifying and returning to its normal form before running away like the wind between the stalls. The devil fruit that was stuck in it was lying on the ground next to the dead alchemist, whose body had now started to draw a crowd. The other merhcants pointed and some yelled for guards as chaos slowly but surely started to break out in that area. Marketplace event (Event ended for: MikuIzumi) (This part of the event have now reached its end. The devil fruit is yours, and so is the chest if you successfully brought/bring back the lid and have someone fix it for you. Congratulations on being the first to complete an event to the end. For completing the event, MikuIzumi receive: 1x Devil fruit 1x Logia-imprisonment Chest Any gold taken from the Pirate Hoard. And 200 Bonus Sp. Completing this event has triggered the Core-event for this island, which is the main-event to that needs to be triggered in order to move to the next island. The Core-event is as follows: *********************************** Spin-Spin Island Event (Core-event triggered by: MikuIzumi) ________________________________________________________ "Three!!... Two!!... One!! Happy Spinning Festival!!!" The crowds on the docks were cheering, throwing their hats in the air while lighting fireworks which started covering the sky in a marvelous display of colors. The merchants aswell as the islanders, families with their children, farmers and soldiers alike all stood at the piers gazing out towards the sea. And slowly but surely, in front of gods and men, the whirlpools all around the island slowed down. They wiggled, merged and cancelled eachother out. Grew weaker and fewer until none remained. The sea was as calm as a winters night, the island was now accessible to the outside world. And the outside world had come.. For in every direction, ships of all kinds and sized appeared on the horizon heading in their direction. Most bore the sigils of merchants, known and unknown. Some were flying jolly rogers, while others didnt fly colors at all. Like a great exodus it seemed that every trader or person with an eye for profit out there were heading to Spin-Spin Island. In the coming 48 hours, the island would be a crawling with pirates, merchants and probably even marine suppliers and their quartermasters. The crowds on the docks were still cheering as they turned around and started preparing all their wares for the coming horde of customers. Sellswords and bodyguards were summoned, awoken and hired left and right made to stand at their post to protect the various merchandize. This would be a bad tme to try and steal anything, and a bad time to kill alchemists aswell~ __________________________________________________________ (The Spinning Festival is now open. By this time, the sun has set and the skies are lit up by fireworks. As of now the island is open for ships to sail to and from the island, and will remain open for what amount to two days in the RP which means atleast two weeks for RL time. You are free to complete the existing events, enjoy the festival and get drunk as a sock, or to return to your ship and sail off of the island. Leaving the island will enter your ship and crew into "Free-roam mode" in which you are in control of where the ship goes and what your crew does in terms of fun, personal stories, fight threads or random fun. In free-roam you can even be in two threads at once, and create custom-islands for you and possibly the other ships to visit aswell. Its a great chance to work on your characters story, and to train your skills and abilities while having casual fun :) Your ship will remain in Free-roam mode until another story-island is launched. Good luck, and have fun! ) |

Auami carefully extended her hands out to take the fruit when the dog jumped on the alchemist before she could help he was already dieing, she looked on as what she thought was a cute little doggy massacred the poor alchemist. After He slowly dies in one of the most horrific ways possible and after the dog leaves auami picks up her logia trap and her fruit and heads out to the secret locaation again. This time with a sack she got from a local merchant, which she bought with some of the few pieces of gold she took from the horde, once she got there she stuffed all the gold from the horde into the logia chest which was actually a chest. What ever she couldn't fit she put in the sack, She then remembers the fruit and before anyone can steal it she eats it. Her face contorts at the horrible flavor from the fruit maybe this was a bad idea hopefully she would get something useful from this fruit. She then shoves all guns into the sack, then she puts all the swords in there sheaths and stuffs them in the sack also. She thought damm I wish I was strong enough to take the spice to but o well can always come back with it with that done she searches for the most experienced and reliable weapons appraiser to look at her swords and guns she had once she finds one she goes into there stall and says "hello anyone there I need help appraising the swords and guns I got " Then she just waits there for the merchant to come out and help her.

Axis watched as the girl bounced of and hurled the devil fruit down towards him. "....soru" Using soru he speeds up his movement just enough for a couple steps to propel him into the air when he jumped; leaping toward the fruit. Hugging his arms in near his body he catches the fruit and hugs it in tight to his chest. Axis really hadn't thought it through but he had just wanted to catch the fruit and hadn't thought about the landing and so he landed not so gently onto his behind. "ow ow ow, at least i got it." He sat up and held out the fruit and marveled at it before standing up. "Well, better get this back to the shopkeeper."

Boomie had arrived with the other pirates, however he and his crew thought to get a head start and risked the whirlpools, to their dismay, he had failed in getting passed them. The tip of his canon he was 'surfing' on hit the beach hard, flinging Boomie forward propelling him into multiple tumbles with his pet cloud fox still on his shoulder. He had just saved his ship from being sent to the bottom of the ocean by using the jet dials on its rear to launch it up into the clouds when it had tilted to become vertical as though it was being sucked down a sink hole. He looked up at the clouds, seeing his boat 'docked' on a cloud he had made with his cloud dial, which now needed replacing, along with others on his canon. No one would see it there. In his minds eye he knew his crew hadn't died, but he also didn't know how or where they were, so he decided to go on without them. As Boomie stood up, swivelling around as he bumped into a man who was somehow bigger than him, in both height and width. The giant grabbed Boomie's collar and lifted him up, the other fist raised to strike. "You lookin to get hurt pal?!" Boomie looked at the man unworried, his haki already in place as he reached to the packet of cigars at the waist of the man, taking one, putting it in his mouth and casually lighting it puffing smoke in the giants face. "Thanks, I needed this." "Why you!" The man's fist flew into Boomie's face, but it was the man's fist that was bleeding and broken as it went away, the man falling to his knees to nestle it. "Graaaaaah!!!!" Boomie took up his canon from the beach's edge, setting it back on his arm as he crouched in front of the man who had hassled him. "I know dis isa bi' unfa' on ma part, bu' I'ma tak' these in exchunj foh ya life..." The man, paralysed by fear didn't move as Boomie took his packet of cigars from him. "Pleasuh doin' business wit' ya." Boomie then casually strolled off the beach, finding himself in the market near the alchemist's. Suddenly there was a cry of pain coming from inside and Boomie rushed over as a silver creature burst out of the shop. Boomie took up pursuit, calling for Snow his cloud fox to cut the odd creature off. He cornered the hound and sat down. Boomie had a way with creatures, and he could tell it was terrified. Now he realised that the creature was some sort of canine, and it would run to him now instead of his snarling companion. "No' gan' urt ya fella."

Kuro couldn’t hold back his laughter at what came next. Both of the men from the White fleet had seemed so serious that it had him expecting the end of the island or at least a fight for his life and yet it was nothing but a BBQ. It was both an honest heartfelt laughter and also one of relief...for now they were all safe and it did seem like only one ship had come. This wasn’t an attack instead they had come looking for the Vice Admiral it seemed however it still wasn’t a good idea to let your guard down. That was how you lost your life or even worse your freedom in this world. “Shiro knows the best spots for getting food or at least better than I do.” Kuro spoke while looking and pointing at Shiro. Wiping the sand from the back of his pants and his ass Kuro was thinking about how much of the supplies Hana had managed to carry. It would have been nice to have got some rest on the island but seriously things were taking a turn for the worse, possibly four or more people might have to be killed if they stayed much longer. Now that people from the white fleet were here as well as the other marines on the island becoming more active it would be important to tie up loose ends on the island if they decided to stay. The young kid from before along with her marine partner although those two or at least one of them might be able to be tricked, the other two being the ones that Shiro had only knocked out...one mistake and their lives could be over. Well the chances of them running into each other again were slim and if need be they could come up with some lies...killing really was the last option with getting off the island as soon as possible being the more favourable one. “I do know that there are plenty of stalls on the island right now though. As well as quite a few new people although that is normal around this time.” By the time Kuro had finished cleaning the sand from his pants he had thought through everything that he needed to do. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile across the other side of the island or at least in the centre of the town a young girl sat inside a bar. It wasn’t a spectacular bar in fact it was a rather plain ordinary bar but it was cheap and it had some good beer. This was the most important thing about the bar or at least it was to this girl whose long black hair flowed all the way down her back stopping nicely above the stool she was sitting on...no it went past the stool if she stood up it would reach the bottom of her ass. Sadly though her tight sexy ass was hidden by the evil stool, her breasts could be seen and they were certainly a good size probably either a C cup or even a D cup. Her elbow rested nicely on the table while her chin rested on the palm of her hand, bags plenty of them surrounded the stool she was sitting on with various things inside from clothes to food. No matter how you looked at it they were bags of supplies so she was probably planning on leaving the island within the next few days but the biggest giveaway was the log pose resting ever so comfortably beside her. “I wonder where that idiot went...” a sigh escaped her soft red lips. Kissable was an understatement! If it was possible you would kill to make love to these girls’ lips. In front of her was an empty glass or it was practically empty with a few drops left in the bottom, instead of asking for a new drink the girl seemed to be focused on something else. her eyes flicking down a piece of paper as she ticked off certain parts of the list but on the bottom of the paper a small section had “names” scribbled on it. One of the names being “The Fox Pirates” there were others but she had highlighted this one out of them all. Beside the name was a Jolly Rodger of two foxes one black and one white surrounding the skull...without a doubt she was a pirate and young one at that.

Kegan fought through the crowds but instead of popping out at the door he came out at the bar itself. Some how he direction had changed with in the span of a minute but it didn't matter to him. He would just head out the back. Beside wasn't he labeled as a pirate now? He should start acting like one. The out of no where a chair sailed through the air and broke on him head. Stunned by the suddenness of the pain he staggered forward landing himself a spot next to a woman who seemed unfazed by the commotion going on. Checking his head he turned to the woman and studied her. She was way to pretty to be apart of this island. He was curious to find out who she was but looking at the paper below answered his question. A jolly roger stared up at him. Interested he took the chance to start a conversation. "So why is a pretty girl like you in the business of being a pirate?"

Though Shiro was slightly perplexed by the nature of the marines, notably that of the Vice Admiral, he still decided to help them. “The marketplace at the south side of the island should have all the food that you’re looking for.” Besides the Vice Admiral and their fleet of marines, the marines that Kuro and Shiro have encountered posed no threat. Shiro knew for certainty that the blow used on the marines would be strong enough to knock them out for several days. He would be out of the island by then. The other marines didn’t appear to be much trouble and could be killed without much effort. The only problem is that he still never had an opportunity to talk to Kuro privately. The opportunity of obtaining information about the ‘Shrouded Warrior’ was a chance that Shiro refused to let away.

As the Vice was about to thank the two a sudden buzzing stopped his words from being released, the noise coming from one of the samurais pockets. The white samurai fumbled a bit, searching through his pockets til he drew out a baby-den-den mushi, it was a small white albino version of the typical ones, a marine symbol with the white fleet mark inscribed on its shell. "Second Officer Rail of Hunter Division speaking" the sound of a distant voice murred into the samurais ears, the man just kept nodding answearing "yes" "mhm" for a good minute untill it finally ended with "Yes, he is here." and "Its for you Vice". Handing the den-den over to the Vice he grasped it with his huge hands, akwardly cradeling the thing up to his right ear. "Heartway here, HQ?" The murring noise started again but Heartway remained silent, his expression that had miraclously started to seem lively was slowly decomposing into a grim grimace, the kind of face you would typically see on someone forced to suffocate their own dog. "Yes Sir, understood." a single click ended the conversation, if it not for the mushi being a living creature he might have crushed the thing in-between his hands right then and there. "The BBQ will have to wait Rail, we got a job." Rail who already had guessed the nature of this "job" turned and started to walk back towards the destroyer which now had started to approach the beach, its front had opened up and transformed into a gateway, making it clear that it was capable of "beach landing". The Vice looked down upon the two "pirates" and winked towards their ship. "Thats yours? If so, take it, or even if it isn't, board it and tell them to get the hell out of here." The vice turned away from them and started trodding south along the beach, towards the point that the two had described, to the closest population center. The aura he had shown uptill then had been serious, but freindly if not even a bit goofy, but now it could frighten a sea king, so terrible that it seemed the air around him had grown dark. Whatever that call had been about, it did not hold well for the islanders.

As Axis catches the fruit, Diana takes it from him and walks over to the shop. "Yo~ Guess what I've got." She calls out to the still worried man that she imagines had a wiry mustache, even if he doesn't she just puts it on him in her mind. Have to keep yourself entertained somehow. "Now I'll tell you what. I REALLY want to know what this fruit is capable of. So here's my proposition...you tell me, or my friend here will eat it. Either way, I'll find out. Oh, and don't call your bodyguard that's taking a nap over there or I'll just smash it on the ground here. Even if he kills me, you'll be without a fruit."

The game was over it seemed that both of these marines knew Kuro and Shiro were pirates or at least weren’t normal people from the island. Usually you would expect them to slay any pirate in their sight and yet instead they were giving Kuro and Shiro a warning...one that could prolong their lives. Perhaps it was the simple act of kindness when they gave the Vice Admiral some water that had helped spare their lives perhaps that single act of kindness would be the most important thing to happen in their lives. It is true they hadn’t received any money or any material reward however the reward they had received was far more precious than any material reward possibly could be. “Come on Shiro it is time to leave. You can stay here on the island or you can come with me and I will tell you what I know about your warrior friend.” Kuro sounded much more serious than he was earlier. His back was already turned away from Shiro as he faced the ship with the black sails. It wasn’t long before Kuro begun to walk towards the ship leaving Shiro behind while he made up his mind. They had at least a few minutes before the ship would leave so Shiro had some time to way up his options. While Shiro thought Kuro steadily made his way towards his ship, his stature along with his aura seemed much bigger and wiser than it had done so far. This was no longer some young kid it seemed as though he had changed and become a man that knew exactly what he wanted and how to get it as well. While walking towards his ship Kuro had raised his hand up in the air waving it slightly almost as if he was saying “thanks. See you two around.” It had taken him long to actually reach the front of the ship which meant he could move onto the next stage of his plan to escape. “Captains orders! Prepare to sail!” he was stern with his voiced raised loud enough for anybody on the beach to hear him. More than anything though his voice oozed confidence and self belief like it was nothing. It wasn’t long before the remaining crew members snapped into action even if some could be heard complaining about missing the grand festival. Either way the ship was soon ready to sail with Kuro boarding it. To his left was the large man that he often fought with but this time it was different. Kuro was serious as was the man, they knew it wasn’t time to mess around and fight over something stupid. Instead the man held his hand out while holding some sort of old looking gun in his hand, the man had a long black tribal tattoo running up his arm with the word bear tattooed along the middle of his forearm. “Hana and that other young guy haven’t returned yet.” “Yeah, I know” “Leaving them?” “Maybe.” “I doubt that.” The short exchange was carried out while Kuro took the gun from the large man. For a few seconds Kuro looked at the man and the gun it was the sort of look many men would misunderstand as a deadly look. Spinning around Kuro squeezed the guns trigger with his finger, he wasn’t exactly a good shot in fact he was fairly useless with guns. However this time it didn’t truly matter about his accuracy, the smoking gun aimed in the general direction of the cliff. The exploding bullet soon erupting into a bright light above the cliff however to the people on the island it would look nothing more than the first firework of a soon booming festival. For the people who knew what they were looking for it was a signal that it was time for them to leave. It was a meeting point for all crew members... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ((For Kaos)) Meanwhile somewhere on the island the two foxes of Kuro had been walking along with the young man who had accompanied him. They had gotten separated from Kuro during all the confusion however the foxes obviously trusted this man enough to stay with him. Up until this point they had simply walked side by side with the man enjoying the different and wonderful sights of the island. Despite them being foxes they seemed to be rather domesticated and fairly intelligent. It wasn’t long before their eyes glanced up towards the sky looking at the bright light above the life. They knew exactly what it was and what it meant. Letting out a howl that could be heard across the island even if it only lasted several seconds it was long enough for any crew members to hear and respond to. In case the man they were with didn’t know they had already begun to pull and lead him towards the cliff edge, it wouldn’t be long before they reached the cliff...no longer than 5 minutes if they maintained their current speed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ((For Tama)) It wasn’t long before the riot in the bar grew out of control with a chair flying right past the head of Hana. She didn’t seem to fazed by it all it was more like she was used to being around such events despite looking the way she did. Instead with a swift glass bottle over the drunken man’s head she turned her attention back to this new man who had sat down beside her and asked her the question. Was he a pirate? Well he didn’t look like a marine and it didn’t really concern her either way. “Hmm probably because of a certain idiot...” she stopped speaking or was forced to by the howling noises of the two foxes. Despite all the noise in the bar the two foxes could still be heard. What made it even more unusual was how she had stopped speaking after all this was a woman who didn’t care at all about the noisy riot around her. Yet here she was stopping and preparing to leave and all because of some howling? It didn’t make much sense then again things rarely did in this world but by the haste that she was picking up her bags it seemed serious. “Come with me and you can meet him...something big is going to happen here though.” It was a warning a serious one at that but also an initiation to follow her...did the man want to become a pirate though or meet a pirate crew? Within seconds the beautiful woman had left the bar with the door closing behind her and it wasn’t long before she spotted the signal. If the man wasn’t quick he could well be left behind by the woman and he would miss his chance on perhaps finding out about the crew and even miss the chance to have his very own journey.

Seeing the Vice Admiral’s kindness once again as he has specifically hinted the necessity in leaving the island, Shiro can only reply with a humble, appreciative nod. Shiro followed Kuro, close up to the magnificent ship that he had sailed using. “I will tell you what I know about your warrior friend”, Kuro had said earlier in attempts to persuade Shiro into coming. “You’ve finally told me at last – That you know nothing of the Shrouded Warrior,” Shiro replied. He let off a slight chuckle. “There was always the possibility in the beginning that you’d be lying. But nonetheless, I’ve come to respect you – despite the mere hours we’ve spent together. There’ll surely be opportunities to discover his true nature in time. With that being said, I … will join your crew. I will join on an equal footing however. Any instructions you give to your crewmates, to me, are requests as a friend. Is that fine with you?” Shiro followed Kuro and arrived at the same place where he was at, inside the ship. He sat close to the edge of the ship. “This incredible vessel of yours can handle the New World’s waves just fine. We better set sail soon – before the rampage of the Vice Admiral starts. As sad as it is, it may be necessary to leave crewmates behind if they do not arrive in time. Let us hope not only for your crewmates to arrive in time, but also for a safe sail to be met.” With that said, Kuro’s crew would certainly sail in time before the soon-to-come destruction impelled by the marines.

After selling off everything and getting tons of money auami then takes her logia trap chest and heads out. She then sees the fire works and thinks something's up she heads to the source of the fireworks and sees tons of marines and one badass looking samurai she quickly runs to the pirate ship at the speed faster then a olympic sprinter. Once she gets there she uses all her agility and stealth to jump aboard the ship and secretly hide from the people. Unfortunatly she was now a devil fruit user so she could no longer swim and hide that way so instead when no one is looking dives in a barrel then made sure no one was lookingn as she slowly moved the barrel while inside and dropped it down when people began to look this way. Once she was by the door to the storage room she jumped inside abandoning the safety of the barrel and hid in one of the crates by the far side of the wall there hoping no one would find her.

Kegan heard the foxes, and instinctively swiveled his head to and fro. It was weird. To the other people in the bar it was like the fox howling was nonexistent yet to him the whole world changed around him. As the howling grew louder the world seemed to get darker and the noises of the brawl made little to no impact. A bead of sweat dribbled down his cheek and Kegan knew her warning rang true. He got up and followed the girl from the bar and into the night. As he followed her he realized he had followed her without reason. Something that had never happened before. "This is going to be fun." Kegan said with a nervous crack in his voice. He was smiling but fear had gripped his heart and almost crushed it.

Marketplace Event (Event Concluded for: Talia_Morisane, Haissem) The merchant was visibly offended by Dianas conduct. He looked over to the lad in the corner with a strict look, a look that wasnt meant to spur someone into action but rather to quell it. A look over to the lad would tell Diana something quite unnerving. Without as much as a sound, the swordsman were already standing. Blades halfway out of their sheats, the distance between him and diana already halved and his stance as if someone had simply flash-frozen him in the middle of a dash. His eyes met the merchants, with a distasteful look of disapproval. The two of them shared a moment that looked like a regular staredown, which ended with the swordsman blinking first, visibly relaxing his stance and letting the tension out of his muscles. As he pushed the blades back in their sheats, the cloth around Dianas shoulder received a small, prescise and delicate cut. It looked like someone had grazed her with a bullet... __________________________________________________________ "Soft..." The lad mumbled. "Not softness, lazyness. And mercy, towards you not her!" The merchant replied annoyed. The lad turned, his look was still stone cold but something behind that bored sleepy pokerface gave off the feeling of a puzzled look. "A threat...?" The land mumbled once more, his head leaning to his left. "A fact. I cant be arsed cleaning the blood from the floor, or aquire replacement rugs for the one she ruins if you take off her hand. Which means, i'd have you clean the floor instead." The merchant replied again, crossing his arms. "You should be thankful, i saved you work!" The merchant turned towards Diana again when the lad finally yielded and went back to his corner to doze off. If looks could kill then the two pirates standing before him would no longer be breathing. "You come under my roof, my tent, and insult me with threats and attempts at blackmail. I should have you both flogged.." He sneers. "But im not interested in travelling all the way back to Gourai isle to replace these!" He proclaims, indicating the exquisite carpenty they were standing on. "Its just..not..worth it" The merchant went into the other room with heavy steps, his body carrying the signs of exhaustion as he returned with the other fruit and slumped down in a nearby chair with his face in his other palm. "It makes your darn nose longer. Really, thats all it does. Eating it gives you the ability to extend and harden your nose like a sword or a club. My grandfather used it to trick foul traders and dishonest merchants into giving up their gold. The Lie Lie fruit he called it publicly, convincing people that his nose grew longer only when he lied. Thats what earned him the nickname Honest Gabe. If you did business with him, and his nose didnt grow, you knew he was truthful. Or so people believed..." He said, sitting up straight finally actually looking at the two pirates in his tent. "This also applied the other way. He would sell off his services as a confessor, a truth-seeker. People would bring liars to him, and have him repeat their statement. If they were lying, grandfathers nose would grow, and he would receive payment for helping bringing a liar to justice." "Ofcourse, it was all a sham. He could control the growth of his nose at will, and used it to manipulate people into thinking he was lying when he was telling the truth, and telling the truth when there was none to be told..." The merchant took a look at the blue-swirling fruit in his hand before tossing it to Diana. "Happy now? You have the fruit, the info, you even kept your hand attached to your arm at the cost of.. *Yawn* my.. strength...." The merchant yawned as his voice trailed off. In a matter of seconds it seemed he had exhausted himself somehow, and fallen asleep in the chair without even getting his beloved Nose fruit back. From being all amped up he now looked so peaceful. The clear cling of a sword drew their attention towards the lad in the corner, and his half-drawn sword combined with the look in his eyes told them that leaving the tent with both fruits was out of the question. Despite being ordered to stand down, he would not stand idly by while his master was swindled. They would have to choose one, or the other... In one hand, the Nose Nose fruit. In the other, the mysterious light-blue one with the swirly pattern matching the Spin-Spin island banners. ((Choose, ye darn pirates~)) _______________________________________________________________________ ((This event has now reached its conclusion. Due to the lad, none of the items in the merchants tent is available for grabs at the moment with the exception of: 1xDevil Fruit (Picked out of two possible) 1xCrew-Mystery gift (located on ship. You both receive the reward even if you choose different ships, or dont have a ship, when you eventually aquire one/join one) 1xPersonal-Mystery Gift (Seperate event, see below). As with all mystery gift rewards, all participants of the group that completes the event recieves the reward regardless of their allegience. This enables pirates to form temporary alliances, in other to cash out big and go their seperate ways when the job is done. When a mystery gift is awarded, there will be a tiny tiny event referring to that reward following. These items can only be picked up by the ones that receive the event, even if other people are nearby.)) _______________________________________________________________ Mystery-Gift (Reward unlocked for: Talia_Morisane, Haissem.) Outside the merchants tent, a group of pirates that had just robbed a nearby tent rushed past. Numbering five in total, they seemed to be chased by a couple of sellswords as they were trying to get back to their ship with the loot. One of the bags carried by a big spikyhaired brute ripped at the bottom, causing the pirates to accidently drop some of their loot. A pair of Log Poses designed for navigation in the New World rolled across the ground just outside the exotic merchants tent. Both made with outsanding wood and amazing craftsmanship, they were yet a bit different as one had a green hue to its finish while the other sported a deep marine-blue tint. |

Ringer, having gotten lost amongst the stalls again and lost sight of Noah, were trying to get his bearings by climbing a nearby stall. The merchant who owned it wasnt pleased and had his sellswords drag the hulking man down from there. He did however see what he needed to see, Noah. "First the thief, then the kid, now bloody Noah. Seems im on a losing streak here, or some arse is having a laugh at me somewhere.." He grumbled as he made his way towars where he last saw Noah. (Sorry that i havent posted in a while, both to you Motion and to you Talia. Motion, i ended this post in way that represents the time gone. So whether you wanna continue bax's event or meet ringer in some other situation, i left the moment Ringer finds Noah up to you ;3 )

Diana doesn't flinch. She knew she was in no danger. The disgustingly wealthy were all so predictable, after all. With a smirk, she tosses the Lie Lie fruit to the merchant. "I'll take the spin-spin fruit~ Thank you for your patronage." She bows and leaves the tent with Axis, turning to him and holding the fruit out to him. "Here. I have no need for it." Suddenly, a group of pirates ran by, leaving behind two Log Poses of unusual make. She takes both and pockets the green one.

Axis watches quietly as the events progress and when Diana hands him the fruit he is rather surprised as he didn't think Diana would simply give it away. Not that he minded at all. "Well that could of went worse, like getting cut in half and getting neither fruit." Axis takes the blue fruit from Diana and after looking at it for a second or two has made his decision. "Better sooner than later, better now than never." Without waiting any longer Axis bites into the fruit, skin and all. He face scrunches up in distaste, first sour followed by a wave of horrible bitterness only to be replaced by what could most simply be known as the worst taste known to man. Regardless Axis forces the bite down. Seeing no immediate results Axis notices Diana picking something up off the ground however after just acquiring a devil fruit he doesn't really lend anything to it and simply stands waiting for something to happen so he can discover what fruit it was he just had a bite of.

A large splintered log floats off the coast of Spin Spin island. There is a man clinging to it, draped over the top and mostly submerged in the water. He is wearing a white coat, a lab coat, the man appears to be a scientist. Someone else is floating with him on the log, a young woman. She is perched on his back, sitting cross legged and eyeing the water while she rocks her arms and body to keep her balance. One of her arms is made of metal and she wears strange devices around her head and shoulders. The log is caught in the tide and washes ashore. The woman waits for log to hit sand before moving and gets up still standing on the man and stretches her body up. She takes a moment to think about something and then hops off onto the shore. Her balance wavers when she lands in the shallow water but she makes it to the sand without falling. The man does not react, he isn't even moving. The woman turns around. Thanks for the hard work, Shinobu "Thanks for the hard work, Jenkins." she says with a posed look and walks off inland. ![]() --- Shinobu looks down to the device around her neck and presses down on the red triangle. A green light appears as she reads the text that appears on the inner side of the device. Core Temperature: Stable Heat Level: 73.3% Gamma Radiation: 2 Gy Surrounding Radiation: 25 rad Shinobu closes her eyes and hold down the red triangle. A small buffet of air is felt around her after a few seconds and she checks the display again. Core Temperature: Stable Heat Level: 74% Gamma Radiation: 2 Gy Surrounding Radiation: 0.01 rad Shinobu turns the display off and takes a breath. There is no water around to cool herself with, but there is also no large life forms around either and the risk of starting a fire in the current area is relatively small. Steam rises off her body as she begins to carefully let the heat from inside her leak out into the air, slowly, to avoid any large bursts accidentally escaping. She checks her display and walks off radiating an aura of heat. --- Shinbou finds a rabbit. It is a white rabbit. A small rabbit. A scared rabbit. Because a strange being has just appeared that is very very hot and trying to eat or kill it. It was like fire, if fire had arms and legs and bad intentions. The rabbit runs away. "Come back fluffy bunny!" Shinbou yells. Her intentions were not bad. She simply wanted to cuddle the bunny. But, doing so would currently cook the bunny and she had not yet realised this. --- Shinobu chased the rabbit all the way to the nearest town. She would have kept going, but the town's appearance distracted her for long enough to let it slip away. Not giving up hope, she ventured into town thinking that there might be more rabbits there. (Shinobu has left her Heat Wave ability on. She is radiating a large field of weak heat through the town. It will be mildly uncomfortable if you are near her an do not like hot weather.)

If it'll help him why not accept the help? "Well she has a metal arm, I think that should help. Oh and she might be hot, literally. That's a tendency of hers." As they ventured further into town Axis noticed the heat had begun to increase, only slightly however. This only slightly though grew as the further into town they went. "I think she may be in town" Axis picked at his shirt which had begun to stick to him.

"Young Miss, you look like you need something to eat." A food vendor eyed Shinobu and her air of curiosity. "Food?" The man handed her a deep fried something which she took with her metal arm. The sight of the arm moving made the man gasp. "Thanks for the food." Shinobu said as she bit into it. "That will be 1,000 beli thank you." "Beli?" "Money." "Money?" "You use it to buy things. You don't know that? Food aint free missy." "But I was taught kindness was." "This isn't kindness, this is business." "Then please don't act so kind. It will give people the wrong impression." Shinobu finished eating, not fazed by the idea of money. "Are you going to pay me or not?" "I can't pay you with what I don't have." "Then you're staying with me until you can." The merchant reached out to seize her. "I would not do that." The merchant ignored her and reached out to grab her human wrist. "I don't care what y- OOOOOWWWWWWWWWW" He drew his hand back. "I told you not to." "What did you do?! What did you do to me?!" "You don't blame the stove for being hot when you touch it." "You're not a stove!" "No, I am a reactor. I think that is hotter. Let me see your hand." "No way! Just get away from me!" Shinbou flicked on her display to check her body temperature. "That is probably a second degree burn. Find some cool water, not cold, and cool it for 10-15minutes. Then lightly wrap it with cotton or gauze or any material that will let the skin breathe. Do not use a bandage, it will take longer to heal and most likely get infected." The man gawked for a while before Shinobu went to turn and leave. "Hey! What about my money!?"

It was not long before Axis and Diana stumbled upon Shinobu; and a rather angry shop keeper. Shopkeeper: "Hey! What about my money!?" Calmly axis walks up to both of them. Axis: "Hello, what happens to be the problem here?" Whilst waiting for a reply he takes in the situation; a rather hot atmosphere, the shop keeper holding a hand and shinobu being shinobu. Shopkeeper: "She stole my food and burnt my hand!" Axis: "More than likely she ate it without knowing what she was doing. You grabbed her and well shinobu is special so you basically burnt yourself; like touching a stove." He looks towards Shinobu as if asking 'Am I right?'

Quickly assessing the situation, thanks to a certain shopkeeper shouting about money, Diana tosses a small coin purse to the shopkeeper, easily containing 1200 Beli. (However, it only contained 400.) "Consider any extra a bribe. Now be quiet." She tells the shopkeeper. The heat always made her a little moody, her only solace being that she is no longer wearing her headphones. She wipes the sweat from her brow. "Phew. Is it always so hot around here?"

((Short version – Crew have gotten back on the ship. -Tama you can jump on or not the choice is yours. -Miku is trapped in the storage room. -Kuro has welcomed people into the crew and explained the single rule while also saying the main thing is you’re free to choose your own actions. If that involves killing, stealing and so on then so be it. -Kuro killed a sea king and the ship is starting to sail away. It is still possible for somebody to jump on the ship at the moment. )) “Orders? I would like you to show me one person here who just follows orders blindly...” Kuro closed his eyes while talking with his words slowly trailing up. He wasn’t done from talking but something had caused him to think or perhaps it was that he was simply thinking about what to do next or where the hell the others were. Whatever was on his mind he had slowly walked over towards the side nearest the cliffs, looking at things from where everybody was standing it looked like Kuro had planned for the others to jump from the cliff...into the water even at the risk of hitting the rocks on the cliff side. The chance of death was around the same chance of living which wasn’t exactly the best option! Still it wasn’t as if he had a great deal of time to plan their escape so maybe with this being the best he could come up with on short notice they should simply be gracious...well it wasn’t as if it mattered to the ones on the ship right? His fingers began to tap on the side of the ship occasionally almost as if they were counting down the time that the people on the island had left. Would he really leave behind his crew members like Shiro had requested, could or was Kuro as cold hearted as that? To simple sail away leaving his friends on the island knowing full well the hand of the shinigami was grasping eagerly at the lost souls or soon to be lost souls of the island... “Ah, I almost forgot! Welcome to the...the...Midnight Pirates!” Kuro cut the atmosphere similar to how he may cut through somebody’s body with one of his deadly blades. The horrible silence shattered under the might of Kuro almost instantly. Kuro had also given them all a name they were officially pirates now or at least were on their way to becoming a crew, they just needed to paint the Jolly Rodger on their ship! The name though was something Kuro had made up on the spot. Surely that wasn’t what he was thinking about so seriously. The name was down to when the crew had finally been born after all it was born near midnight and the black sails looked so elegant and beautiful like the night sky itself. Those things had made his mind up for him while he nodded proudly at coming up with the name all by himself. That would put Hana back in her place after saying he could never come up with a name! Speaking of Hana she was running late...Kuro finally looking up at the top of the cliff were the angry booming voice was coming from. A deadly glare could also be seen coming from an angel of a woman, beauty unfathomable by mere mortals but this woman was more like the angel of death or at least she was for Kuro. The eyes of Kuro lighting up like a sparkly Christmas tree or that of a child lost inside his favourite candy store. No matter how you looked at it Kuro was happy, happier than any words could describe he was practically buzzing at the sight of the glaring girl. He was relieved that they had finally arrived. “If you think I’m jumping in the water then your an idiot!” the young woman yelled down towards Kasei while also muttering more words under her breath however these words shouldn’t be repeated out loud~ With a sigh Kuro couldn’t help but wonder how different she would be if she had a nicer mouth or tongue to be precise but it wasn’t as if he could change her or could he. Maybe if he could develop some sort of collar that would bend her will and give him full control over her...ah that would be turning her into a slave. Not a bad idea though or at least it wasn’t to Kuro. Instead of actually staying in his own little fantasy Kuro had indeed sorted out the problem. Besides having her complain and beat him until reaching the next island would be annoying...it would be much easier to just give her what she wanted now. A thin net shot from the sides of the ship it had been altered slightly with spikes on the edges of the net hooking into the cliff edge. The net wasn’t anything fancy instead it was a simply black net probably something used for some sort of fishing but it would serve the purpose to catch the woman and her new friend. Without further ado she did indeed jump from the top of the cliff of course the net hadn’t been tested so it could well have given way...lucky enough it didn’t! Instead it simply dropped down just above the water surface allowing her to crawl towards the ships edge without fear of falling into the cold ocean and becoming soaked, the men didn’t like it much though since they missed the chance to see her clothes go see through. The man who had followed her towards the cliff was left standing at the top with the choice being simple he either would take the leap of faith or he would stand still and watch life pass him by. It wasn’t long before two speeding bullets rushed passed him as they leapt high into the air. These two foxes missed the net completely and instead landed either side of Kuro. They were back with their master they had returned to where they belonged. “Well since we are all here as well as new members I guess it’s about time we discussed rules of the crew...” Kuro spoke while bending down to ruffle the fur on the foxes necks. For some reason his aura seemed completely different the carefree easy going nature had been replaced by something else. It wasn’t evil but it wasn’t good either neither was it overpowering even if it felt strong. Confidence seemed to radiate from him it was enough to gain the attention of the older crew members the ones that had travelled with him so far. It wasn’t hard to see why he had taken over the mantle of being the captain it wasn’t just because the ship was his well to be precise it was his after he stole it but the reason he was captain was simply down to his nature. He was the sort of person that people were happy to follow not out of fear but out of respect there was something about his nature that screamed he could be trusted that he was a nice guy...that as long as you were with him your dreams would come true. More important of all though he was the sort of guy that you felt would make your life truly fun without trying to control you...you had freedom with Kuro. “There is one simple rule. You help your crew members as long as you’re a part of this crew you stand together! Apart from that you are free to make your own choice but bear in mind that everything you do will affect you somehow. You can kill, steal, blackmail or anything else you desire after all you became a pirate for freedom did you not?” A slight pause came from Kuro as he stood up once again. The foxes sitting down by his sides looking out over the crew...it had grown once more. “We are neither good nor evil we simply do as we please. Some of you may have been cold blooded killers in the past and maybe you still are but I do not care...as long as I can trust you then that’s all that matters!” Kuro cast his eye towards the storage room they had seen the same young girl that stole something from the merchant and she had hidden herself away inside the ships storage room. It wasn’t exactly hard to spot a girl sneaking on the ship even if they didn’t say anything it didn’t really matter since she had already trapped herself. The door had been locked shut from the outside but even if she was hidden inside several barrels she would be able to hear the speech from Kuro but more importantly the roar from some of the crew members. While the crew members roared and the older larger man that would probably be around at least 7 foot something drank his beer Kuro had made his way over to the side of the ship. His blue handled blade being drawn from its sheathe ever so slightly he knew something big and powerful was coming...something was rushing towards the surface of the water... “I am your captain if you don’t agree then feel free to challenge me.” Kuro spoke while drawing his blade the sparks flying from it’s sheathe like fireworks lighting up the night. The blade wasn’t drawn to show his resolve or eve strike fear in the hearts of his crew. No that would be pointless with these pirates since they weren’t young and had probably seen plenty of battles. Instead the blade was drawn and re-sheathed in a matter of seconds with Kuro walking back towards the top of the ship. Behind him a falling dismembered sea king crashed back into the ocean the shockwaves from its body hitting the water sending the ship on its way slowly as they begun to move from the island. The sea king wasn’t exactly the biggest but it wasn’t small either if anything it was around the average size with his head looking like something drawn up from a horror story. Its grotesque head was the last part to slowly sink back below the ocean surface its tentacle like whiskers falling inside the dark ocean. It was probably coming to devour the ship but instead it had simply been devoured itself...almost like Kuro said choices you make affect you in the end. If it wasn’t clear to anybody before then it was now, one mistake and your life could be over no matter how small or minuscule the mistake was. On the island known as Spin-Spin Island the Midnight Pirates were born...their journey had finally begun...

Public Service Announcement: From this point on, staying on the island will be very bad for your health. With slow solemn strides, Heartway made his way up a long winding path that lead him to the top of a weathered hill overlooking the major hub of the island. Looking down from the hill he saw where people so far had existed in piece for as long as he could remember, the major hub of the island was blazing with life as the festival was nearing its cheerful height. There weere pirates down below, mixing with people and the various chasing marines, they did not know the danger that loomed over them, the festival was about to take drastic turn for the worse. "Are you there yet?" A smaller den-den-mushi than his last sang into his ear where it had been attached, the cringing sound that came through its mouth was the type that could drive men insane, though Heartway did't seem to mind it much, or he was just too pre-occupied to care. He was inspecting the ground beneath him closely, finally lowering his hulking body down to touch the earth. "Yes.. The root should be just below me." "Excellent! I trust your still strong enough to complete your task hmm?" Heartway closed his eyes and released an inaudible sigh, opening his eyes to gaze down upon the villagers below, if anything he wished to join them in their celebrations, how long had it been since he had last sung and danced? Not nearly as long as it would be before his next drink. "I took considerable damage at Sao.. But even so, I am still able to do an island of this size." "I don't care about the details! A yes or now answer would be sufficient! Now, turn on the loudspeakers so I can address the commoners!" Gritting his teeth the Vice-Admiral ripped the den den mushi from his ear and starting drawing at its mouth, the little thing did't break but instead expanded to ten times its original size, forming a small body with a giant mouth, Heartway held the thing out towards the village before announcing that it was ready, and without further discussion or even a thank you the annoying voice suddenly reached the ears of everyone in the capital town of spin spin. Everyone, lowlife and commoners, poor people and the unfortunate, you are all honored and pleased to hear the voice of Lord Maximilian The Third, a name you should all know I am sure! I am here to spread the good news that our most powerful naval forces have destroyed the largest pirate threat of our age and all his freinds with him, however unfortunately it seems some got away, its such a sad thing that they would find this place of all places, such a shame, gehehehe! But, despite the danger, take comfort in the fact that you will all be able to help in the greater cause, celebrate! Cherish the occassion, for today you will all take part in the final destruction of the old world pirates, Literally! Gehehehehehe! For a while the broadcast of sound stopped as a different dial on the den-den was pushed. "I have nothing more to say, you finish it up Heartway" Stone-faced heartway raised the den-den to his mouth and soon his commanding voice could be heard all across the island, solemn words were spoken with a slow surety that seemed to defy doubt. "People of Spin-Spin Island, for harboring wanted criminals, and furthermore due to suspicion of cooperation with pirates.." As Heartway was speaking he kneel-led down to touch the ground with his free right arm. "Under the heavenly laws of the Celestial Dragons," Forming a line in the air with his finger he rose his right arm again, in perfect motion. this island and all its occupants have been deemed guilty of high treason." Still almost directly above the point he had described as the "root" he held his arm still as he clenched his fist together, his muscles tensed up and his arm arced a little, giving the impression that he was about to punch the ground. "By the power given unto me by The World Goverment.. I, Vice-Admiral Icarus D. Heartway, sentence this island; To Die! Gaia Breaker! With a great roar, his fist slammed into the ground. The world seemed to stand still from the moment as his right arm had went from still to motion, the speed of which it hit the ground was such that it would appear a blur to even the most observant, to others all they could see was a white sheen in the air and the eventual; explosion of sound. Like a giant bulldozer hitting a concrete wall with the speed of a race car, the roaring of the earth was deafening, the sound skipping several beats before taking a life of its own, spreading out across the entire island like a carpet of forewarned doom. Heartway himself leapt from his spot and started rushing down the hill towards the major hub, behind him the reason for his flight was as clear as the sky, a great wave of earth and rock was following him and beneath that again a great spreading pattern of breaking ground sped out before him, already starting to reach the town. A regular citizen saw one of these ruptures reach his house, and that was the last he saw of his house. Anything that came in contact with the ruptures fell into the earth, swallowed whole as the ground collapsed around them. Heartway finally took three big leaps before going into an enormous jump that took him all the way to the city square, about three hundred meters behind him the outlying sections of the city was being devoured, and further in the distant the marine fortress was about to fall down the cliff as it and its surrounding heights were starting to collapse in on itself. Slowly spreading in a circle from the point he had hit the earth was flattening itself, or where there was weight, collapsing, forming great holes in the ground, some so deep that you could not even see the bottom. People had barely started to realize the danger as heartway reached the city center, here people were in the process of participating in the festival and still there were unsure faces milling around, most were too unsure of the situation to properely react, causing a lot of the towns villagers to indecisively look to their betters, though their confusion would not stay for long. Heartway wore an expression of unfeeling steel as he reached out to the nearest pirate he could find, breaking his neck as if it was made of rotten wood, using his corpse as a battering ram he mauled the rest of the pirates crew before they could even realize what was happening, the sight got most people aware of what was happening and not by long the entire towns festivities turned from happy celebration to pure terror, a wave of panic spreading just as (if not faster) fast as the destruction. - The Island is experiencing a huge-ass earthquake that is rapidly destroying the island. Anyone still on the island will have to escape or they will be swallowed and die along with it -
