If you have some idea or suggestion you can post it here and maybe your suggestion will be in magazine.

Maybe there should be an Agony Aunt on the 'Zine not saying that it should be me but I always thought about making a club about it XD

How about the following:
video game section- Like a small section about some games like reviews, recommendations and such?

Community page- Like talk about MAL's clubs, events held by MAL, hot topics in the forums.

It's your magazine so it's okay if you deny them.

Game section might work if there are a lot anime based english games.

Community page I don't like it. Since it will be difficult to manage it.

I had to look it up, too. An Agony Aunt is someone who helps people out with personal troubles they send in. Personally, I don't think it would quite fit in this zine, especially not at the beginning.

Again, it can be added later once the zine has some issues behind itself.

I understand.
For gaming I would say stick with Japanese games. This is a magazine for Japanese media after all. If we put the section in we wouldn't go overboard. We can worry about this section later on, I think we should go with your first initial planing for the 1st few issues. ;D

EDIT:
I mass message the Writers Club about that story publishing deal. It could take a while to get going so I'm sure you know it'll show up in later issues.

@Kuronoa: you are absolutely right in everything you mentioned.

First of all I have to-do-list so don't worry if your idea isn't in first number. Since I don't want to overboard with many thing in begining.

That. And we should make some deadline dates for everything to work systematically. Are we going to rush for February or take our sweet time until March? I guess February 15th or so would work too.

How about 5th? Is 14 days enough for writers?

I'd like to be a writer. Hmm, but with my workload this year, I see it as being impossible.

But for all magazines, internet or paper versions should have editors. Those who can overview it and fine tune any mistakes or typos that arrive. I worked as a yearbook editor once. I had it easy, sorta.

Ripaz, what size do you want the PDF? I've aiming for 8.5x11, or I can use more standard magazine dimensions.

Seems to be a fair time, as most of the writers will have only 1-2 things to write.

Sorry if I missed it but what's the rating scale for every Zine category? Are we using MAL's 1-10 no decimal system for everything?

Dunno what you mean by that but standard A4 should be ok. Or half of its size.

I joined to make a comment and suggestion as I read the club message above. All good ideas I thought. As an editor for an online magazine that also publishes quarterly in hard copy, one thing I didn't see on the list was definite set of editors and position definitions. Editors which solely correct grammar, format, etc. that are not correctly information within a story. Assistants who work only on making sure information is correct.

The set-up we have is, the main "creator" receives the reviews/stories and then forwards them to a set of other editor, who first yay or nay the reviews/stories. Those that qualify by majority and then sent to the editor which solely corrects grammar issues, etc. (that's what I do), then forward them back to the creator for publishing.

Just a suggestion.
