| Kenshin was acting a little out of character in that penultimate scene with the old man. It seems weird for him to act so.. unsociable, unless it's around someone he feels suspicious of. I guess he was probably suspicious of that old man's plans are, but not to the point of being unable to talk to him normally I wouldn't think. |

| Kind of a slow start - I wasn't too impressed. As the episode went on, I thought the story filled out to be pretty decent, though. The end set up some interesting stuff, though overall we're still just seeing a story of a guy who has obligations that he can't meet. It's been done in a bunch of episodes before. I like that the nerdy dude thinks that Jules Verne's "From the Earth to the Moon" is real. It's a bit tragic but whimsical. |
| oh gawd no.. i kinda lost it there while i was listening to the opening, it just feels.. soo ridiculous! not even cringeworthy tho i.. they should have like replace this song already it.. ruins the mood of having merry adventures along the way of going back to Tokyo, edo... whatever the fuck it is! and the music for thw preview episode too... it's just too serious that only shishou or other assasins could give that feeling of dramatism xD i guess they didn't want to spend budget in a new set of bgm lol |
