| Wicked Cute! I love the detail on the cake. It wouldn't be hard at all for you to become an advanced baker!! Was that homemade frosting? It looks like a thick buttercreme. Thats the best to decorate with. |
| Yes it is homemade buttercream. That's the only kind I use. ^^ Unless I'm decorating a hard form, then I use royal icing. (Still home made) Would it be okay for me to post some pics of my decorated hard forms? I know it's not really baking, cause it's just a shell, but it's still decorating. |

| I just made some banana chocolate chip muffins. (There are the only thing I know how to bake.) They are not made from scratch. But I did add extra banana and the chocolate chips. I know they don't look like much, but they taste amazing. |

If I wasn't allergic to banana's, Id totally eat them all up :D Decoration tip, try putting a chocolate chip (or hershey kiss) on top :) |

I am the same way with Pineapple (well not exactly, I can eat a small amount and be fine.). | I LOVE how you put the apple on top of that pie! I totally have to do that next time!! As for the cake, wicked cute!! One thing I would suggest is adjusting your leaf tip a bit. It looks like its seperating around the leaf stem, which indicates to me that the points at too close together. If you take a pin and just pry it open a smidge, it will help the seperation that happens. Also, Im quite curious how you made those roses. I can't quite figure it out by the picture. Its really pretty! ohh...Idea alert! When I get my video camera Ill post tutorial videos :D |
| Thanks. I have an obsession with making things cute. X) Thanks for the tip! ^^ The roses on top? I sort of fallowed what they said to do in the back of the Wilton's cake magazine. Sort of. ;P I made a pile of frosting in the middle of the rose nail, then I added petals in the middle, then from the bottom up till I met the others in the center. I also added some to the center afterwords though cause my frosting was soft and sliding around. XD That would be really awesome! I'd love to see how you do some of the things you do with your cakes and stuff. ^_^ |

| Just served the cake at my uni-office ;) - People were praising it alot (it was really moist and did indeed taste good - way beyond my expectations) and only 2 people pointed out that it had a funny shape :) I'm gonna post the recipie for the bread when I get home |
