Eh, I feel almost bad asking this here, but I think it's the most likely spot for a discussion.

Do any of the character's remember what happened in the routes?

-Key apparently confirmed that the True End happens in the real world.
-Riki/Rin grew stronger because they helped everyone overcome their trials.
-Kengo/Kyouske/Masato (and the rest?) remember repeating the world over and over again.
-Riki learns of the secret. Rin remembers everyone. And the strength gained from helping everyone helps them save the world! (or at least their friends).

So why does it all seem to be forgotten? Not only does Riki not remember the love scenes (lucky him...), but he clearly doesn't even understand what happened in Tebuwa. Mio smiles more, but nothing was alluded to that Haruka loved Futaki anymore, or Kurugaya learned to feel emotions.

Why the inconsistency?

(and I'm still mad Riki didn't propose, regardless of the implications)

In the VN, the Tebuwa issue subsided or something, Futaki made up with Haruka in the real world.
All the Little Busters bringing up all the activities they did, like the Test of Courage, Sleepover, was to show that they kept their memories. I dunno, I would've liked the details from the VN and some sort of conclusion for each of the girls' routes, and with how dragged out the beginning of the episode was, more substance could've been added in easily, but let's not forget this is JC Staff here, and they always know best.

Oh yeah, and Kengo also remade the jumper that he made in the dream world. I feel like this was anime-only, but still cool.

Vlad, just wanna say, you the man. Loving all your insight throughout this. ^_^

I definitely agree with all of the activities, and the fact JC Staff left out a "few" details.

  • I just saw "They have gone through something that made them true 'friends'" regarding Komari... (Only thought would be the wishing star scene?)
  • I still am confused with "the situation had subsided somehow"
  • I'm an idiot and double-clicked through "Plus, she and Kanata-san seem to have made up during the vacation" XD
  • I guess "I didn't remember anything about Kurugaya-San" counts as a nod to the route?

I think my new theory on that is: The routes helped the girls get the strength to overcome their problems on their own, since Futaki and Tebuwa existed outside in the Real World. (But I suppose the mental ones are totally gone, like Komari/Riki/Rin/Kurugaya?/Mio? since they involved only the Little Busters who made the world)

And they do have Kengo wearing the Jumper in the VN credits I believe, which may be one of the only places you see the logo? Regardless, I liked it.

Well, yeah. The routes did help the girls get over their problems on their own. One of the best parts of the true ending are the implications that the girls' development carried over somewhat from the dream world.
You should watch Bokura no Asa:

It's hilarious, emotional, and heartwarming.

Took a little bit of a replay of the True Ending to really appreciate it more, but definitely agree with you on that bit.

Thanks for the suggestion!
Anything with The Boy's Farwell definitely makes things emotional, and the rest had me laughing for sure!

Than... *re-reads signature* ... *sees you are part of Refrain Subs* ... *bows down before a God with tears in his eyes*

Forreal though, Bokura No Asa was a great suggestion, and I appreciate the insight!
Makes me want to see more... Suppose I have to go find me the EX/ME versions now...

Miyuki committed suicide in the real world. Kengo enters the dream world with this regret, and I think Kyousuke recreates her so that Kengo can redeem himself, even if it isn't real. Hence episode 25 of season one.

Thanks. Another question probably related to Kengo?. What is jumper?

and/or perhaps what is Little Jumpers?

I've seen many people state that in the forums but I have no clue about it at all D;
