| Like I said in ep 4 discussion, SOOOO refreshing even if I know what's going to happen. It's making me feel. <3 I really like how the anime sometimes chooses not to have music and that emphasizes the intensity of a scene (for example, Yuuri and Yoshioka holding hands in bed). The OST is perfect as always. To non-manga readers, don't worry. This won't fall into the typical shoujo cliche. Just watch and see. | But of course Yuuri had to fall for Kou. Let the love triangle shenanigans commence! Overall a pretty good ep. However, when I watch this I think of Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. That show is starting to ruin my perception of shoujo, lol. |

| The sunrise scene was pure beautiful. I like it. And I kinda don't understand why people hates Yuuri just because she fell in love with Kou but yeah, don't worry because the love triangle will disappear and that will be the time where a new chara shows up. |

Kominato leading everyone on a merry chase was funny, as was the scene when they were all acting cool as they got fired up (Kou is such a Tsun). Futaba was quite upset about not being of any use to the team. I'm kinda happy they showed the sunrise scene here as well. To me, it was one of the best scenes of the first few chapters, specially with Kominato quoting Kou. The way they are pacing this show, it seems they will stop at around Chapter 12 to 15 after all. I can definitely see a second season, though I wonder why Touma even gets a voice actor in this case, because unless it's a guest appearance, he shouldn't be showing up in the first 15-20 chapters. |

| Sad to see the art quality dropping so drastically, and the emotional music cue came on a little obnoxiously strong at the end there. Gripes aside, new drama might give the show the facelift it needs. |

| Yeah, as soon as Kou helped Yuuri on that rock, we could see that ending coming. I just hope it doesn't add some cliche drama, but just help Futaba going forward. Kou reaction in the bus made me spit my breakfast x) D'awww, that piggy ride was so sweet, but felt natural at the same time. No unnecessary awkwardness or sudden revelation. That was a close one. Getting lost in a mountain can be very dangerous, especially since they didn't seemed equiped for it. |

| Even though as not at the same level of the past episodes, it was still nice to watch. I didn't like the part where Yuuri has fallen for Kou, it felt really forced, as well as him taking Futaba on his shoulders. I don't mind the triangle that generated, as long as it will be developed decently. I like the fact that Kominato isn't the typical over-hyperactive cheerful guy, while still being joyous, he doesn't overshow it. I liked the sunrise part on the other hand. Hope it will not go downhill with this love triangle. |

| Overall, very average so far. Situationally it's avoiding the neauseating cliches common to most romcoms, but the one dimensional characters are absorbed in personal struggles that have yet to be properly rooted, so their consequences are having little effect on me. Kou needs a running kick to the nuts, because his condescending, depressively aloof, hyper-critical nature is getting rage-inducing, to say nothing of the confounding 'we-can't-go-back' melo BS. The forced emo scenes and juvenile script aren't helping matters either. The music is hit and miss--not especially moving-- but I like the fact that it's pervasive a la Hana Yori Dango. Bonus points too for avoiding the sickeningly sweet first person narration of Kimi ni Todoke and 20+ ep romantic teases that lead to nothing more than "Arigato" LOL. This is nothing compared to Nana or HnC, but better than the 2nd/3rd tier romances to be sure. Hopefully, there's more development/backstory to the MCs. Nothing intelligent or innovative about the comedy, although it does have its ephemeral moments. I'm liking the art so far. |

| This episode made it painfully obvious it was written by adults trying to imitate teenage friendship, and failing miserably. I don't understand why the one girl couldn't cross the river. The water was like less than a foot deep. They didn't even need the damn bridge. Which, by the way, was ridiculously convenient, flat, close together, straight, and sturdy to the point where it actually looked man-made. At that point it wasn't even jumping on rocks, it was literally walking across a fucking bridge. Does she have mental problems? |
