(I'll be Nin-1 then)
The order were pretty standard for any shinobi, but for a genin, it sounded a bit over the top. A combat mission right off the bat? against another genin? Either someone had made a mistake, or the Hokage had more faith in Kensei then he realized. Nevertheless he would perform admirably in his service, and accepted the mission.

Having been on the road for a while, he finally reached the border. A watchman greeted him by a nearby watchtower, situated ontop a grassy knoll at the edge of the forest of Konoha. He explained that there had been sightings of spies, but that none had come around for a while. He asked that he be relieved in order to return to the village and report that the danger seemed to be over. Kensei was releived, this wasnt going to turn ugly after all, or so he thought.

With a polite bow he accepted the guards proposal with grace, and watched him sprint off back into the woods. In the meantime, Kensei took the liberty of using the mans campfire and kettle to prepare some tea. It would take the guard a while to reach town after all, and Kensei no longer expected much trouble out of this night.

A few hours go by in peace, the last glimmers of the sun had long since crept away into the distant horizon by the time the guard finally returned, however he could barely make out his form in the dark as he moved back towards the campfire where Kensei was waiting for him. (Up to you if you notice this or not)

Making little sound was not uncommon for a ninja guard but this one was moving strangely, almost struggling like it was stuck in some sort of ruined animation, far from enough keyframes, there was something ethereal about him. As the guard approached Kensei from behind he drew a standard kunai from his vest, still not making any sounds of warning he crept so close that he was almost standing over Kensei before finally launching his body into the attack, the Kunai went in first Aiming for Kenseis Neck, but besides that his entire body was moving in on Kensei and the campfire like a steel tipped human bullet, still not making a squeek but the sound of his own mad movements and the displaced air.

The only thing that saved him was a shift in the light from the moon cast on the area around Kensei. Staring at the campfire wouldve ruined his ability to spot scouts in the distance, so he had opted to look at everything else. Even in the dim light, hiding ones shadow completely was hard, and Kensei had keen eyes.

His nerves however was not as tempered. A well-versed ninja wouldve deflected the attack with a kunai of his own, Kensei however yerked sideways into a rolling dodge, spring back to his feet a distance away.

He tried to steady himself, calm his mind enough to figure out what to do next, but the sudden attack had caught him offguard and already sent his adrenaline through the roof.
"I thought i heard something but figured it was my imagination" He said, nervously excited in the face of battle. It was strangely thrilling, yet terrifying to the core. Swiping his hand across the satchel on his belt, he took out a shuriken and a kunai for each hand respectively.

The well timed dodge caused the attacker to collide with the campfire instead, the burning embers of his final light was snuffed out and replaced with a cloud of ash and fire and the outcrop of a slowly rising, burning man. If he had not noticed up til now it was clear by the flickering lights that had started to burn fiery paths into his clothing, that the man was the same person he had spoken to here just a few hours ago.

The guard did't respond to Kensei's words, instead it simply started staggering towards him before suddenly launching into a mad dash that was more animal like than human, it just charged mindlessly at him but with a speed that seemed otherworldly, like if it was moving faster than what its movements should allow.

Inhumanely indifferent to the fact that its body was quickly becoming a fireball, the thing closed the remaining distance with a leap, causing the fires to spread around him like wings, he eagle swooped down towards Kensei's chest, both of his burning hands tugging hard on the Kunai, fully intending to simply stab without regard for personal defense.

If the fact that he was suddenly attacked was not clue enough, the guards behaviour made it obvious that Kensei was not dealing with a bored guard wanting a slight duel. His movements were rash, direct and intended to kill, and at the same time very predictable. The lack of regard to personal defence would be the key to Kenseis response to this assault.

He intercepted the kunai first with his own, deflecting the attack sideways while he sidestepped in the other direction, causing his enemy to miss him alltogether. Kensei used this window to jump back and build a slight distance, before briefly forming two handsigns. Even if the enemy noticed the chakra string transferred from kunai to kunai earlyer that was now attached to his own, it would be too late at this point.

Bringing his hand in front of his face he finished the third seal and sent a surge of electricity down the string.

The thing had reacted a bit quicker from the miss this time, the thing stumbled slightly but quickly got back on his feet only to get a momentary glance at his prey before the electric surge entered its body.

The shock stunned it momentarily, it did't seem to have much effect on it as the pain did not seem to bother it at all, however the thing was still paralyzed and the flames had started to burn a bright white yellow around the center of his back, his skin had started to melt away and to Kensei's viewing pleasure he found there to be nothing but void looking back at him, the body was quickly decomposing, the guards insides were just hot organ soup by now, yet he still moved, the muscles were still somehow working the thing.

In the moment the surge failed to hold it any longer, in grotesque display it threw what remained of its body yet again in a straight forward attack, it looked more like a tumbled mess of fire and burning flesh than a person and even though it was only going for a straight forward attack yet again it almost seemed to have increased its speed, the thing almost seem to skip forward like if kensei had started blinking alot, before he could react he had been caught by the leg, the thing pulled hard and threw him back down towards the ground, the burning mess close behind for a messy finish.

The horror was almost too much to bear. Before his very eyes this man was coming apart like a sad sack of meat. Kensei felt sick, and was already terrified and ready to vomit when the meatsack lunged at him.

It was upon him before he could get away, and he found his leg grappled by this burning mess. He screamed in his panic, and proceeded to kick the guard in the face in an attempt to get away. To his horror, half the mans face remained stuck to his boot in a melted mess of skin and flesh, which only made him kick even harder and scream even louder. With one final kick he gave it everything he had, and felt several bones crack beneath his foot as the mans faceplate caved in, causing brainmatter to flow over kenseis foot.

He crawled away like a creature stuck with a branding iron, until he could crawl no more for his need to vomit had returned. Emtpying the contents of todays lunch on the ground, he tried to make sense of what the hell just happened. In the proscess, he removed his boots and threw them as far away as he could while trying not to vomit again.

Did someone bribe the guard? no that wouldnt explain the inhuman behaviour. Was it a genjutsu? Probably not, he was certain the kunai he deflected earlyer felt real.. He worked his mind left and right to make sense of it and this served to stave off the impending panic attack, replacing it with focus.

He got to his feet and looked around. There was no chakra strings that he could make out from the remains of the guard, which means he wasnt controlled like a puppet. Eying his surroundings he tried to make out any potential observers in the distance, while preparing a flare from his satchel.

Just as he was about to light the Flare it was snapped from his hand, it was too dark to see what had taken the flare but he had noticed the displacement of air coming from behind him, but despite the quick realization he had opened himself up by trying to use the flare; it sounded kinda like whips were being cracked and suddenly he was stricken by them, two wide lines of what felt like some sort of tough paper had completely constricted him.

'I Must confess, I am impressed. '

An Ice-filled voice appeared from behind him, he could't see or turn his head to perceive him but he could tell by the sound that he was not far. On closer inspection the things that were holding him were indeed paper, wide rough leathery looking paper was holding him in a bind, he noticed that there were only two individual paper "rolls" and both seemed to be connected to the same source, somewhere behind him.

'I did't expect you to survive,
pity that such talent will come to waste'

The paper started constricting him more and more, the paper dug itself into his flesh, the pain started becoming unbearable, he could feel his shoulders fight the tension, his spine working overtime.

Once again he had been unattentive, a thing that had to be his achilles heel. The bindings were upon him before he could counter with anything meaningful, but he managed to keep clinging onto the little shuriken he had taken out earlyer.

The way he spoke to Kensei signaled a great gap in experience. This was clearly someone used to fighting, and more importantly, killing. The thought that he might die today pressed the sense of urgency, which was further pressed by the paper now threatening to squeeze the very life out of him.

"Not today!" He grunted, and used his fingers to flick the shuriken forward.

Using a single chakra string, he rapidly swung the shuriken around, building speed until it cut into the first strip of paper. The first pass was successful in causing a tear, and with a final exertion of force the paper ripped, freeing Kenseis left arm which now reached for his kunai pouch, launching a slicing strike to cut the second one.

As he was about to cut himself loose the severed paper that remained drifted loose of his upper body but managed to still reach for his right leg, causing him to stumble forward, thwarting his attempt at cutting free the second bind.

'That.. That paper is worth more than your skin!'

The paper at his feet pulled at him something fiercely, stopping him from meeting his fate with the ground and instead pulled him as high into the air as the paper could reach before sending him back down again, ears whistling past his air as he crashed towards the ground.

'Just die..!'

"agh!" he grunted as the kunai missed its mark. He was about to use it to wail about and cut what he could in his restriction condition, but a word from the enemy sent him on more technical thoughts.
"skin?"

As the paper raised him and flung him back towards the ground, he dropped the Kunai with the free hand and reached for his restricted one. With haste, he performed a series of three handseals, and hit the ground hard.

At the moment before impact however, he made sure to return the favor in kind. A sudden spike of electricity passed through the paper, not a constant current but one single violent discharge of surprising voltage considering Kensei was genin.

As the smoke cleared, his bad leg had clearly taken the worst hit, as it was now bent completely out of shape. Combining a muscular atrophy with a broken bone, and kensei found himself unable to move his leg at all, but in surprisingly little pain considering the state of the leg. The rest of his body however ached like it was on fire, and his very skin might very well be so, for as the last of the smoke cleared, his gamble was evident.

He hadnt used a jutsu to electrify the enemy nin, not directly. Rather he had used his Magnetize tecnique to make the paper momentarily as conductive as copper, and discharged the mobile capacitor on his belt normally used for training. Using his own skin as conductor to deliver the power to the magnetized paper, the electricity that hit the enemy wasnt of a chakra nature, but good old fashioned AC/DC. A charge that had made his hair stand in every direction comically. This was a gamle however, as he considered the stored charge in the capacitor his trump card, as one use shorted the capacitor and prevented further charging without significant repairs outside of battle.

In the moments before the charge reached Mei, he noticed just in time to have a brief recognition of the fact, he had been waiting, no, hoping for something like this so that he could store some good energy.

Ah, so you can be useful

Under normal circumstances a chakra based charge would simply be controlled and ether stored or re-used as it was caught by Mei's open vortexes cleverly hidden beneath his sleeves, the paper reached all the way into the darkness beyond. However a completely regular charge without the chakra ment that Mei would have to use his own chakra on arrival to mold the element; which for one was very costly, no elemental affinity meant that to break down, or controlling the unleashed energies would take alot of chakra. Secondly, he was not "at the ready".

Wa-----!

In the first moments the electrical stream flowed freely into the vortexes, the electrical energy let loose inside the dimension simply shattered into pieces of electric sparks that ran amok, finding little to absorb into the energy simply went on a rampage. The pain of this happening was something similar to having a malfunctioning generator at the center of your brain, resulting in a half-trained half out of pain reaction; he shut off his vortex gates, cutting the source of the electrical input, however as he did this he also for a moment exposed his physical body to the current. Oh.. Shi-

Mei was wearing a heavy dark cloak which concealed most of what happened next, the unmistakable sound of someones vocal cords being tickled by electric power did not escape detection, Mei's entire body shook like a it was being bounced between the walls of a very VERY narrow pass until it suddenly passed, Mei swayed for a moment before falling to his knees, gloved hands appeared from beneath the sleeves and grabbed firm hold of his own head, even though the electrical attack had passed the damage was still going on inside, even though he felt like fainting after that attack he forced himself to get the energy under control, he could't even start to think about how much of a migraine he would have after this, it felt like his brain was on fire with sparkly showers of rainbow pain explosions going of at random intervals. His face twisted in violent contortion and he started shaking again just before he slowly started to calm down.

You bastard...!

He said with a slowly rising pitched tone, his voice had changed from that of a condescending noble to what was comparably a pained froth! Slowly, more recklessly than carefully Mei attempted to rise, as he tried this he also removed his hood, an almost steam like cloud was released from within, his long black hair had been completely done in by the electrical current, it seemed to have been fixed behind his head but now it was all over the place, the dark made it difficult to make out facial details except the red glow coming off Mei's eyes.

How could I let this happen..
Hehee.. Yes.

He brought his hands together under the red light of his eyes, it was an unusual sign and he did't change it up but held it in constant vigil under his eyes which was staring straight into Kensei's, for a moment of brief brilliance he realized that he might be looking straight at him for more than dramatic effect, the red eyes and the sign felt almost hypnotic but that realization made him notice in time that someone had ripped out a hole in the tapestry of life not to far above his head, something similar to black hole had taken form, it did't make any sounds nor did it smell, its only outline was the less dark hue of the natural night.

Something wrong with your leg?

He announced after Kensei noticed the hole. "Would be a shame if you could't move out of the way." He taunted Kensei but his own pain was still apparent in his tone, a frustration about it made it clear that this was not the kind of petty boy revenge that ends with a clap on the back. A sudden crack of energy from above revealed the return of Kensei's electrical attack.

Kensei eyed the hole forming above him with a certain fear in his eyes, and frantically searched for a way out. He was a builder, not a fighter, and wasnt accustomed to making snap descisions. His style revolved more around careful research. His leg was busted, and even if he summoned the crutch it would take way too long to just dodge this thing. No, he had to reduce the incoming damage as much as possible.

Within the memories of his own training he found his answer, and threw his free arm up towards the hole. He knew what he had to do, he had to take this thing like a man, but he had to reduce the voltage fast.

From his wrist, a spring loaded device launched a kunai into the hole with a wire attached to it that ran back to Kenseis wrist. With haste, he reached for the shorted capacitor to connect the wire to it and held it in his hand.
"Did you know, a current will take all paths to ground?"

With a nervous smile, trying to be cocky but knowing this was gonna hurt like a bitch, he slammed the capacitor on the ground and completed the current just as the charge was released from the hole. Half the charge hit Kensei, the other went straight to ground through the wire reaching up into the kunai long since vanished inside whatever realm the hole hailed from.

But it was as he hoped, and felt the results of his training on his very body. The charge hurt, sure, it was mindboggling, but his muscles still retained most of their control and strongly resisted the charge passing through him. When it was over, he was in great pain, but able to move almost right away.

Rolling over, he summoned the crutch from the scroll and used it to prop himself up to a kneeling position on his healthy leg.
"Ive trained my body to take and hold high voltages for months.." He said, a slight grunt of pain escaping him midsentence. ".. as you wouldnt trick a trickster, you wouldnt zap the zapper..whew"
He was still catching his breath from the shock, and eyed the hole that had returned his charge to him, wondering if the worst was past or if it would suddely move again.

His mind went from facing the challenge to seeking escape, and used these precious seconds to try and plot how to get away with his life and the intel. Not only was there indeed someone at the border, this shinobi used abilities Kensei had never heard of, information valuable if he could only get it to the right people. This "scout" was no run-of-the-mill nameless genin to be ignored, this guy was one for the books, and extremely dangerous.

Impossible..!

He mouthed speechless, the genin he had assumed would make a good victim for his first Revenant was still alive, even after being attacked and subsequently defeating his first proper human reanimation, he had deflected or taken all of his blows and had even managed to hurt him and cause him to lose more than half of his chakra in the process, and now even after this he had still somehow survived.

It took a quarter of what I had just to control it, two more just to release it, the blow should have been enough to burn his skin off, how is he..!?

He threw off his heavy cloak, the thin metal plates concealed within the fabric would do him no use here, a bit of an exaggeration perhaps but after the previous shock he could still swear to feel a lingering tension, throwing it off was like freedom for his shoulders though it only helped him realize how much of a beating his muscles had taken. As his opponent was recuperating he started to quickly try and reclaim control of his ruined hair, though in reality he was just trying to conceal the fact that he was doubtful if he could move at all.

I seem to be getting back most of the control, But I should avoid Taijutsu.

He quickly tried to act normal by readjusting his gear, he did't properly realize it but he was acting slightly out of fear, being foiled over and over like this had put him in a new unexpected situation. Hidden under his cloak he wore something like a regular black shinobi uniform but only in shape and form, the details and the fine silk that seemed to gleam in the moonlight made it apparent that was custom made and expensive, not to mention there was a clan symbol on his back in dark red, it was in this moment he heard his opponent call out to him.

'Did't I tell you to die!?'
This has to end now..!

He formed a focus seal and his already shining red eyes seemed to glow even brigther for a moment and not long after the black hole grew in size before suddenly collapsing onto itself, dropping two forms out of its depths as it vanished. One of the forms lay crumbled on the ground, whimpering in pain, the other had landed mostly on its feet, the other seemed to suffer from some sort of internal damage rather than the fall it had taken. It was quickly apparent at this close range that these two forms were infact, something aching to giant wolves, (think hobbit styled wargs in terms of muscular build though slightly smaller, more dog like), red glowing orbs and dark fur ran across their back with a silver mane crossing all the way down their spine, the one still standings first reaction as it found its feet was to throw a concerned glance towards its knocked out partner, it too seemed to have suffered from some of the same effects as its fur was slightly standing upward, tips seemingly singed.

'Napoleon, ignore Cæsar, kill that bastard!'

Like clockwork the giant dog turned its attentions towards Kensei, releasing a powerful bark it started off and launched itself at him, frothing teeths and sharp claws out like a canine tiger.

He waited for a reply, but all he received was a reiteration of his desire to kill him. Kenseis pulse slightly raised after that, the malice without explanation confused him and served to drive his nervousness as much as his curiosity.

He eyed the two forms falling out of the hole, and took note of the debilitated state of one of them. He wasnt sure if he was directly responsible, but he was thankful noneless, as it told him they could be harmed. Two wouldve been trouble, but he had just enough chakra left to deal with one. Especially when it came towards him in a rather direct fashion. At which, Kenseis nervous smile turned more into a bored, slightly annoyed expression, and leaned on the crutch so he could form five handseals. He seemed dissappointed.

"And i thought i told you, a current will take all paths to ground" He said, and put his feet close together. Lightening chakra danced at his fingertips, which now grasped the conductive metal crutch.

For a moment, he stalled. Holding back the technique until just the right moment. He gambled on his keen eyes, and took the shot as the canine was about to reach him. A surge of electricity filled the crutch, which he lifted from the ground and then slammed back down, energizing the ground with a boom.

"Lightening release: Variable Charge Technique!"

It was over in a moment, even quicker then a moment. Like struck by a bolt of lightening, the beast collapsed before Kensei had completed calling out the name of the technique. His timing had been off, early, but not too early.

"A dispersing charge will seek all paths in an attempt to discharge itself." he said. "Spreading its feet apart, like dogs do when they dash, allowed the current passing through the ground to use your little friend as just another dielectric substance. Just another way, to discharge itself. And just another path to its final destination.."

Those words, final destination, caused him to draw a smile, a smile that faded in seconds. It reminded him of his own position. If that technique, the last of chakra was gone. He had barely enough to unseal a scroll, but with his leg in its current state and with barely any chakra, the weapon inside would be of little use to him.

"What now then stranger? Ive shown you the working principles of my technique twice before you sent that.. thing.. " He noted, and pointed at the knocked out dog before his feet. "Yet you had it fall for the same trick a third time.."

As he spoke, there was resentment in his voice. he hopped a step back on his crutch, a gesture that made it seem like he was about to try and get away. When he looked back up his eyes looked just about ready to burst into tears.
"I refuse to be defeated by someone like you!!"

With a poof, he squeezed the last drop of chakra he had into a scroll calling upon a windmill shuriken. Its edges was plated with copper to make it more conductive, not that it would help him without chakra. Without as much as a twitch he propped himself up on the crutch and gave the shuriken a spin, sending it whirling in Meis direction.

Napoleon..!

..Seems that I wasn't the only thing affected by the shock, I should have realized before..

More importantly his attempt at ending this with a minimalist brute-force attempt had not really payed out for him, the opponent had cleverly managed to keep his disadvantage at bay, it infuriated him. He calmly closed the gate as his opponent mocked him, his eyes closing along with his powers.

"I refuse to be defeated by someone like you!!"

Aahh..
For once I agree with you.

A momentary blur of red shivered across Mei's pupils as the windmill shuriken whirled dangerously close; suddenly a black hole appeared beneath Cæsar, the dog vanished and suddenly re-appeared in a flash of black and similar colored fur, the weapon and the dog met with disappointing 'thud', the whirling sound brought to a stop in a instant as one of its blades found its mark deep within the big dogs flesh. Cæsar howled in pain as the blade entered but as the dog hit the ground it quickly went still.

'I am not going to give you my name'

Said Mei as he slowly started to walk towards Kensei, lightly stepping over his dead comrade, he did't bother with a glance, his eyes were fixed at Kensei as he drew a long folded fan hidden on his back.

'But the will of my clan will the last thing you will ever know!"

The thing unfurled revealing itself to be a giant weapon, but not of the kind that wind users would use, this thing was primarily a weapon. Its frame was made of some kind of metal which had been beautifully painted with black and white ornaments which made the fan look like a giant black veined leaf with white wings, the tips of the fan was of course spiked, thin needle like points seemed to cut the air as they moved. More importantly for Kensei, the Kuromachi family marks were clearly represented on its webbed surface.

Is he still hiding something..?

Trying to shake a slowly building doubt; Mei went into a run, It was not very agile since his body was still feeling the sting of the electric shock, but his weapon arm moved in a way that kept his opponent from having full visibility of his other hand,(and large chunks of his body along with it) just as he was about to reach melee distance he suddenly broke his charge and promptly leapt backwards, his other hand came back into visibility just in time for Kensei to witness a handful of small Shuriken's release from his hand, the things spun outwards and down towards him, threatning to close the distance in a instant.

I don't care if its dirty, just die already!

Kensei was already reacting to the charge, and was surprised when his opponent went for a shuriken finish at close range. He strained his brain to find a way to block it, dodging was out of the question, but ultimately failed. His thoughts gave way to determination, and he continued the action he had cancelled when his enemy charged at him.

Yanking on the wires as hard as he could, the windmill shuriken stuck in the dog broke apart into its 4 individual blades, one of which was still attached with a chakra string Kensei had planted on the shuriken before tossing it.

He would be too late, he knew that when time seemed to slow down with the swarm of shurikens heading his way. He was already halfway done with the handmovement he required, and with a final exertion, the chakra-stringed shurikenblade lifted off from the ground and sunk itself into Mei's turned back somehow miraculously avoiding critical organs.

Out of instinct his hand went to his kunai pouch to defend himself, an action that seemed comical even to him in hindsight, as the shurikens overtook him before his hand could even reach the pouch. Each sinking themselves into his flesh, only turning his head away had saved one of his eyes from being hit aswell.

He wanted to scream, but couldnt. The pain was so great he could not make a single sound, and he even had trouble breathing at all. The slightest movement sent shocks of pain through his body, and all he could do to remain slightly combat-sane was to not move at all as he looked to his enemy for a confirmation on whether he had achieved his attempt at a double cross-counter takedown meant to incapacitate both shinobi in the place of just one. He wanted to force a draw, if only long enough to get another flare out and call for reinforcements.

"Konoha will hear of this.." He stated, more as a self-determining chant to increase his own morale than a warning to his enemy.

Ravaged, Mei's body collapsed into the mud like a doll, his rapid motions stopped short in a instant as the chakra bound weapon pierced him through the back. Avoiding his spine and vitals, stabbing straight through his his rib-cage and out through chest.

What?..

His vision blurred and the world started moving dangerously slow, he barely felt the sensation of his body hitting the ground like a rotten fruit, blood and ruined skin tissue broke away like juice. Most would quickly fall unconcious, after all the damage he had taken, this shock to the body was far more than it could take. However his strong link to his soul and the third realm gave him a third perspective which allowed him some kind of bare consciousness even if his body gave away entirely.

Mei's fears grew as he realized the situation he had suddenly found himself in, his body was bleeding badly and he was completely unable to move his bones, his ribs hurt like hell and the rest of him kind of did't, ether because of the earlier shock treatment had killed his nerves or there was something else more bad, much bad, going on.

Wait.. Did I get him!?

Ushering some hidden away strength he managed to slide his head a bit to the right so he could face the direction of his opponent, a momentary action based on both fear of a follow up attack and sheer anger, his eyes did't need to draw strength to draw wide open as they found his opponent laying wounded but still very conscious and active.

D... Defeat? How could I? How could he..

His teeth managed to grit together as a growing anger within him started to outweigh his pain. I am the blood heir of the Kuromachi line, how could I be defeated by a mere Genin!? The fear of dying was slowly fading from his mind and was being replaced with the horror of his peers disappointed expressions, laughing faces filled his mind, the terror of his family's high standards and pride back-fired on him like a good old fashioned cannon, all displayed in the face of his enemy.

No..!

His body groaned in complaint but he managed to force himself to push his hand out from the mud, balancing his arm on his other that lay motionless over his chest. I won't let this happen..! A black void appeared in the palm of his bloody hand, the crimson dark contrast was barely hidden from the genins view even if it was aiming away from him, he was still laying flat in the mud. My body will not move.. But my will is still strong..! Dark tendrils appeared from the void, stretching out like snakes, their length increasing with the intensity of Mei's gritting teeth.

I Will return his own techniques back on him.. I will make him suffer my genius!
Like puppet strings the dark tendrils hooked into his limps until his back became a whirling nest of thick dark strings, eventually they all found their perfect alignment and with a sudden tug he found himself once again standing proud, even if his body was completly moved by the assistance of his bloodline; he could not help but laugh at the absurdity of his recovery, and his still dreadful circumstances. He looked utterly mad as he stood there, his silky black hair now electrified and filthy along with the rest of his bloodstained muddy body, his entire gear was shredded and his face was fixed in a mad grin, his hair covered most of it as it lazily fell around him like a mop.

Hahahaha-krah..! Groah.. (Spits out blood) ...Ehehehe...
Ahahahaha!

His body could barely take the punishment of standing upright, even if he was being moved by a strong will his body was still dying at an ever accelerating rate, as he rose the blood had almost started to run like a river from out his back, and a slow spurt of blood in his chest had become noticeably larger and darker, and despite his laughter his face was growing increasingly paler, yet still he moved, something mad had possessed him to mimic his opponent and had turned his entire body into a living puppet, he knew this technique was thanks to his opponent, and perhaps for that reason he started to calm down a little, the feeling of new achievement had always been an exhilarate for him, and soon he stopped his blood wretched laughter, pausing for a moment but only to open his mouth again now speaking with a guttural, blood choked replica of his former voice.

Know this..

The dark wires which were growing increasingly thinner pulled up his arm from which the tentacles were attached and forced it into alignment with the crouching Genin. The black wires looked eerily monstrous as they stretched back past his now outstretched arm and back over his back and to his other limps, his grin widened yet his eyes revealed a conflicted angry interior, the dark void within Mei palm started to widen exponentially.

You have not won..!

A Strong vortex appeared from within the void and like a black hole would Psy beheld his oppoents arm steadily and rapidly accelerating into a deatomized state, his body slowly starting to give in to his own pull.

In the end, I am the only one left standing, am I not!?

He resumed his mad laughter as his body started to leave the ground and made a beeline for the dark void, his crazy noise was soon cut short as Mei's face became a blur, a second later he was gone along with the dark void, even most of the blood and loose dirt on the ground beneath him had been sucked in with him, it was almost as if he had never existed. He left the lone Genin alone in the cold morning dark to ponder whether he was spared or if his enemy was forced to escape out of necessity, and how the hell he did that in the first place. For Mei, the months ahead held only a long recovery, and perhaps time to grow.
Memories are the materials of a Soul, it is what makes and defines you.
And as such, blood is the currency of the soul, the silver plate of the will.
