I just finished the Anime and found out that was only half of the novels. After looking around I couldn't find any translations for the second two novels. Were they ever translated?

I don't think they have been translated yet sadly... I just finished the series and wanted to read the novels as well. Can't find English versions anywhere (I've looked in Amazon, eBay and asked at some local comic stores since usually they're the one that ship Japanese novels to my country fastest).

Btw, do we have any clue if they're planning into making the other 2 novels into a series??

What a shame.

:(

I wonder if it will ever be translated into English or not... Or whether they might make a 2nd season.

There is no English translation, and given when there was one in other languages, sadly I'd say don't hope for one either. But there are somewhat good news if you are relatively fluent in German or French. The first (out of the 4) book is translated in German and the first and the second in French. I speak German so I read the first, just finished it actually, but it ends halfway through the plot of the series so it can drive you a little crazy. Then there's the option of giving a crazy go to the Japanese version... hehehehe. I'm actually planning to try that. Just for the record, there's one more book in the series which is actually a collection of short stories from characters of the series which is listed nowhere as part of the series but it is... In wikipedia you won't find it for example in the page of Kemono no Shouja, but you can find it in Nahoko Uehashi's page (in Wikipedia always) or her list of books in Amazon. I really hope I manage to read them in Japanese (and I know it's a crazy feat, but I've gotta try), because the series is really good, and even from the 1st in the German translation I can tell it's well written. I wish you luck!
