| Anyone have a recommendation for dub vs sub? I'd like to catch this at its prime, seeing as how it's so well regarded, and I have yet to have the pleasure of viewing this! Tex, I know this is your jam guy, what's your suggestion? |
| Well, went with the sub (can't seem to find the entire dub anywhere convenient to stream online), and one episode in... A very gripping first episode. This show already oozes struggle; I was kinda wondering if we were gonna ease in, or just kick it off from the jump. Looking forward to the remaining 73! |
| I watched it subbed and was not actually even aware it had been dubbed so I can't really comment on which is preferred. Subbed is the safe bet of course. This is a great series and I'm sure you'll all enjoy it. |

| I watched 17 episodes like 18 months ago and I liked the dub. I normally do enjoy dubs though, so I'll watch it dubbed methinks. |

| Typically, for me, it depends on what I watch a show in the first time through, for preference, in terms of subsequent rewatching. If I watch something dubbed first, I am almost repulsed by the sub, and vice versa. Subbed, in terms of this show, is pretty passionate thus far, I'm not displeased in the slightest. *I'm 3 episodes in now, and honestly, my impression thus far is that this is a rare example of completely transparent characters being beneficial to the story! Typically, you feel that the transparency of the characters and the lack of need for inference makes the show boring, but I would have to say that I disagree with that suggestion so far, in terms of this show. |

| I'll have to try both sub and dub out and get back to you's on the preference. I've been wanting to get into more dubbed anime lately, getting a bit sick of watching all my in seasonal crap subbed along with the other series I'm watching. Which is why I started watching childhood anime dubbed in the mornings. |
